Never mind. I love the multiplayer. Starting tomorrow...twleve days of The Lab and 4x cash. You down? Sent from a place of renewed interest. Tomorrow? I think that should be possible. No girls.

What... What is that... What is she holding? Is that a... clay hammer? A broom? A brick on a stick? Why would anyone want to carry around a brick on a stick?

games that have made you cry.

Couldn't you guys just load an older save game...? -
You know you can IM with it, right? That's what I'll probably use it for mostly. Oh, I thought it was just a free phone service or something (my sister's been bugging me for years to get this thing). Does it have group chat as well, then?
-
chrizzle1984 Just downloaded it the other day, too. Haven't used it yet and I don't think I will any time soon (I hate phones). But yeah, fill up your friend list with my name. THAT'S ALL IT'S GOOD FOR ANYWAY, RIGHT?!

You're sure they're not just foreigners? That always throws me off when I visit the US. This one time I bought an album at a record store, and through some miracle I had exactly enough change in my wallet. Of course, when I got to the register, it was more than that because for some reason Americans don't add the tax on the price tag. So I had to use a card. -
Ah, yes, I've been wanting to ask the same thing. I think 5 would be a nice number.

@Dean: Maybe you should turn that drawing into an emoticon. You can use it whenever I double post.
-
Is that you, Dean? 'Cause it sure looks like you. Those angry and frustrated eyes, that unkempt hair. That... scar on his cheek? That's because of all the posts he has to move around every day.

I probably recommended this to you several times already, but you can't go wrong with Garth Ennis's Punisher MAX. Especially The Slavers, which is fantastic. I hear you, though Siege was actually very enjoyable. At least, if you'd been following the events in the Marvel universe leading up to it. It really felt like everything came together for an epic climax. And it was only 4 issues, as opposed to Secret Invasion's 8. That story could've easily been told in 4 issues. Also, Nihil just mentioned Brubaker's Daredevil, which is great too. That series recently culminated in Shadowland, which is an excellent series if you're a fan of "street level" heroes (Luke Cage, Moon Knight, Iron Fist, Spider-Man, Elektra, Punisher... even Ghost Rider is in there). At least I thought it was awesome. Do keep in mind I usually read all the mini-series and tie-ins as they come out, so your mileage may vary. Other Marvel series that have been good recently: Fantastic Four Invincible Iron Man Secret Avengers --Oh, I just thought of an excellent mini-series for you. It's a very light-hearted "throwback" story by Dan Slott featuring Spider-Man and Human Torch. It's hilarious. You'll love it.

Hmmm... I really don't see it... nvm, I found it! thx

He means if it was at all related to the first sentence. The answer to that would be "no".

*frantically looks for Reich's reflection* Dammit... -
Ugh, look at those graphics. The reflections are all wrong and the background is all fuzzy. And... are those jaggies? Yeah, I'm definitely seeing jaggies. nothanks.jpg

Oh, sorry... If I could I would change the title to "Graphic Novel Connoisseurs". *edit* I just asked the Mods to merge this thread with the Thor thread, so don't be surprised to see one of your old posts in here.

Just saw this trailer over at GT and realized we didn't have a thread for comic book geeks yet. So here you go. http://www.gametrailers.com/video/episode-3-marvel-vs/708692 I can't help but smile every time I see MODOK.

BTW I will read the rest when I have some more time. It's a great way to spend a boring afternoon at work. I just sent my bro-in-law a message. I'll let you know.

Only problem I have with the SNES controller is that it's a little too small. When I was a kid it was the perfect size, though. I have a Super Famicom at home, and the controller wires are SO SHORT. I either have to put the console on my lap or sit 1 inch away from the TV. Damn those freakishly tiny Japanese homes.
-
I agree with Clowny. Maybe not on the controller part, though. But the SNES's 16-bit graphics have a timeless charm to them. You could say that's nostalgia, but that doesn't explain why I don't feel the same way about the NES (a console I actually owned as a kid, as opposed to the SNES). I think there's quite a few SNES games that still hold up pretty well if you show them to kids born in (or even after) the 90's. Hence all the remakes on PSN, XBL and Virtual Console.
