  1. Well, I may have been harsh on Mucinex, but I think I may actually have a polyester allergy. When I was sick, that gave my immune system more reason to fight off the perceived "threat."

  2. Wow, nearly a year ago since the last post. I mentioned it before in a status update, but SERIOUSLY, read Molester Man. The title might throw you off, but here's the synopsis: Based off a real story which was posted on 2ch, Molester Man is the story of how Molester Man is mistaken for a stalker by Miss Understanding, and how they overcome their personal challenges while slowly growing closer to each other. There's more to it as that's just the first handful of chapters. There's a big turn of events, but I won't spoil it. Read it on Manga Here
  3. Pretty much what was already said by others, and really I wanted to complete the trilogy and I got the Blu-ray (eventually) when it was $17.96 on Amazon. What would life be without Amazon?
  4. I'll have to probably look at my collection when I get back home to know which games I didn't mention that I've beaten. I've also had quite a few games I haven't beaten, like Psychonauts and Kingdom Hearts 3D.
  5. I beat Borderlands 2 before it hit midnight for me. For some reason the Fink's Slaughterhouse side quest appeared again. I thought, "Eh, a good opportunity to get some Badass Points." This was the night that I learned Thief Rats steal a percentage of your cash. Because I wasn't being careful, I went from ~$1,033,627 to around $588,000. I doubt I would have gotten to the 3 million mark, but to have lost nearly $500,000 is... Actually, I finished the game so whatever!
  6. Serious, this was an impulse buy, and in all honesty I got it because back in the GCN days I always wanted to play it. I could be using my gift card money on more current items, but if it turns out I'm extremely dissatisfied, I'll give it to the Grumps.
  7. Never taking Mucinex again. First two days it didn't do anything to me, though I only took a single dose each day (when it says every 4 hours). I take one today to make sure I'm fine, instead I get an upset stomach and mild case of hives.

It works for me... too well. My nasal passage gets really dry to the point that I think I'm going to have a nose bleed.

Mucinex makes you super dehydrated so you have to drink a ton of water

  8. Earlier this week, after reading the new chapters of Naruto, and etc, "Molester Man" caught my eye. At first, like any sane person, I assumed the worst, but curiosity got to me. Surprisingly, it's a hilarious and deeply dramtic tale. The last chapter is soon to be translated, and I'm excited.

  9. I wish I could see outside my mind. Whenever someone discusses their relationship woes, it seems so obvious from my view what's going on. I guess it's like watching a sports game versus being in one.

  10. Sonic & [etc] Transformed isn't that bad; give and take bizarre track hiccups and the game not giving you in detail what X and Y do. Serious, the manual is three pages of English and two pages in French!

Yeah, manuals are pretty awful these days.

maybe there is an in-game digital manual? That's what Nintendo is doing nowadays.

They've been replacing manuals with asinine hour-long tutorials.

  11. If I can't nail an interview in the next couple months, I may have to submit myself to working at the local Walmart. At least I would be home, but the feeling of "failure" would loom over my head.

What's your major? As far as I know the only majors with easy out-of-the-uni jobs are engineering based ones.

  12. Remember back when I said the Tenchi Muyo! OVA would be on Blu-ray/DVD December 18th? Yeah, the time has come. It's going for $40.29, a whomping 42% off the retail price. I've actually decided to not get the OVA series as I did get the DVD collection from 1999 (Used) a year ago. Didn't spend more than $36, and while my collection is a little rough, techincally the Blu-ray format just makes the 4:3 aspect ratio look really good on an HDTV. Serious, I've read that at times you can see the fingerprints on some of the animation cels! Of course, I don't expect anyone to ever get as lucky as I was with the old collection, and technically this collection has DVDs. So, definite buy for any Tenchi fan here! (Wait... I could give away my old collection to a friend...)
  13. Backstreet Boys songs give me nostalgia trips to times when anything with CGI was "advanced," teens lined their walls with CDs, and at one point there was excitement for a new Star Wars trilogy.

NKotB songs remind me of a time when special effects were done with miniature models, portable music meant radio or Walkman, and the idea of a SECOND Nintendo console was just a rumor. :P

  14. For PS3, because 1) I don't necessarily have any standard multiplayer games for PS3, and 2) I've heard and read it's pretty good.
  15. I need to simply ignore comment sections on ANY article at this point. Maybe it's all part of THE END, but far too many self-proclaimed voices of reason and cynical ignorance.

  16. Well, I meant Columbia. You know, in an alternate universe where the sportswear company went all poticial and constructed a floating city out of their highly advanced fabric. There's no way the Songbird could fly without wings made of winter coats!
  17. My father is kinda tough to shop for, but there are some areas where a gift can rise to the occasion. Got it on Amazon back when it was $27.96, though I added $2.99 (in total $30.95) for gift wrap and message. Only downside is that it may take a week or two for it to ship as I imagine many people jumped on that steep discount. Only person who needs a gift now is my mother, but she really is the toughest to shop for unless you get lucky and she actually wants something. Usually I just piggyback onto whatever my father gets her.
  18. I got my sister Adventure Time slippers and my brother-in-law Halo: CE Anniversary. Real Talk: It's so weird to buy a game for a console I do not own.

  19. Finally got through the last two episodes, and most of my choices weren't the "popular" ones, but then again one of my "unpopular" choices from before benefited me. Looking at the stats site, here's a rundown of my decisions: To go into a little detail of that scene... Oh, and everyone gets the same cutscene after the credits.
  20. I thought it was a cookbook. Hobbits do love their second dinners, and other scheduled second meals along with cakes.
  21. Since I have a new PS3, I'm finally able to finish The Walking Dead. Finished Ep. 4 last night (TEH FEELS, BRA) and I'm ready to go out balls out in Ep. 5.

Ep 5 seemed the shortest for me, but was definitely my favourite. Good luck!!

It felt shorter for you BECAUSE it was the shortest. But it also packs the biggest emotional punch

  22. The Songbird. It's essentially the ultimate form of the Big Daddy relationship as far as Infinite goes. It has been the personal protector of Elizabeth ever since she was a small child, and Elizabeth actually doesn't want Booker to hurt Songbird either, or vice versa. It's said to be the most feared creature of Colombia, so when you hear it, soiling yourself would be an understatement.
  23. Remember when I said most of my books got destroyed because my room flooded? I forgot that I could scan the barcode on my damaged copy of The Hobbit with the Amazon app. Well, I did just that, though it seems that my new copy is a recently printed edition. You know, the giant ugly emblem that will make it look like I started reading the book because of the recent motion picture. But hey, at least it's not a stock photo from the movie on the cover!
  24. Two positives to a CPAP face mask: 1) Able to sleep better, and 2) Bane impression for a good year before it becomes old hat.

Yes, sleep apnea. Had my second sleep study and it seems even though I have mixed, a normal CPAP will work for me rather than getting a VPAP.
