There's definitely a difference in modeling. It's kinda odd because some characters look like they could be straight out of Clone Wars, and other times you have these horse-faced character models who seem to have jelly in place of muscles. It's a proper continuation/sequel to Clone Wars if you ask me and there are some interesting character moments through and through. You'll have to watch it after Clone Wars because truly this series has some great action sequences. Ezra kinda becomes moody, but then again he's a teenager and he's nowhere near the levels of prequel movie(s) Anakin Skywalker.

Haven't had a nerdgasm lately? Here, give this a watch.

So if you're an Amazon Prime member, you get 20% off Pre-orders and Newly Released physical video games. Newly released being defined as two weeks after release. Considering I use Prime for anything on Amazon, not just games, this beats all those pre-order programs from other retailers.

When you have immeasurable responsibility and at all times at least half the country is against you, aging so rapidly is expected even of the most health of presidents.

I do highly recommend Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen. I got it back on PS3 when it was just Dragon's Dogma. Of course, I had to deal with Capcom's BS of issuing the game as a brand new separate game and not an expansion for Dark Arisen. I didn't get it until it was on PS Plus sometime later. Only piece of advice I can give you is not to do New Game Plus. It doesn't scale with your level, so it drags in the beginning when it use to be a true challenge. Trust me, there's a lot of post-game content that is challenging and more rewarding than playing the game over with all your new powers and powerful gear.

I already got my internal drive in the mail today from Amazon, but I did notice that swapping an external drive was an option a few days ago. I'm sure I'll find a use for the spare drive. Right now I'm downloading the system software, but otherwise this actually isn't too bad of a procedure. It's like the console version of doing a 3DS SD card swap.

Gotta thank you Dean for reminding me Bungie has those stats on the website. I finished Iron Banner today by completing only one match today. It was, without a doubt, one of my best Crucible games in Destiny. And my HDD is still full so I couldn't save the video... At least my new drive is coming this Tuesday. So I took a screenshot, at least. But with the stats on Bungie, I have further proof of how amazing the match was. https://www.bungie.net/en/Legend/PGCR?instanceId=4455636966&characterId=2305843009217421987 Went in on the losing side, something like 2:1 in points. First seven kills earned me a Phantom, a.k.a. Seven Kills and No Damage Taken. Couldn't believe it, I've only every done that once and that was because of a Machine Gun. This time I only used Hawkmoon. The whole time I thought we'd lose anyway, but eventually we all ended up even with only 1000 points to go on each side. I landed a Shadow Shot on a Gunslinger who just popped his Golden Gun and was aiming at my teammates to get the final points for his team to win. I wish this was recorded because I ran, jumped over them, and landed my shot dead center. Honestly, I think if it weren't for the fact my teammates were accidental behind cover, the Gunslinger would have shot a second sooner.

I will say, at least Shadow Fall follows up on the events of Killzone 3 and continues the trend of showing how both sides are at fault. That while the Helghast are most definitely Space Nazi, the Vektan forces are just as easily capable of the same evils. It's not as properly executed because you're only given five characters recurring characters (one being the player character). There is one returning character, but he's present for all of 2 minutes and some audio near the end of the game. He's there to support the whole eugenics angle the Helghast believe themselves to be striving for against the inferior Vekta people.

Finally got around to playing Killzone: Shadow Fall This is very much a launch PS4 game. Guerrilla Games tried making Killzone kinda stealthy, but it hardly worked. Especially for a series that has emphasized the weight and feel of holding onto weaponry/ammo, being a clunky stealth character doesn't work. Not to mention the primary goal was probably just to wow the player with visuals rather than making the game technically playable. So many times I would restart from checkpoint because the game was inconsistent with enemy sight and AI walk cycles. The very end had a cool twist, but it was ruined by the above two problems. It should have been something sweet and short, but instead 15 minutes later I say screw and finish the very end. Killzone has never been one for story, but this was also very hollow. The majority of the game I'm just one dude dickin' around fancy looking environments. At least I had a cool half-Helghan stealth girl as a partner in the last third of the game. She didn't do too much actually later on... but she had a nice butt. Yeah I said it. If someone is going to constantly be taking point and doing the whole "walk away and vanish" route, you notice these things!

Popped on to explain. Since the early days of Destiny, the only viable strategy to win Control is to either control A and B, or B and C. If you try to get greedy 95% of the time you'll get slaughtered and the opposing team will move on B. Also, if people begin moving towards A/C, it flips the spawns and the opposing team begins capping your spawn zone. So Control is really just maintain two zones and get kills while defending B.

Well, that's suppose to be the system for a lot of retailers. When I was in retail, this was also the case. This Best Buy happened to slip up and not grab one for me. That, or they're so bad at their job that they lost the hard drive.
-
So rather than Amazon, I did a store pickup last night for my local Best Buy on a Seagate 2TB Internal HDD. Seems someone didn't do pickups in the morning and the item was sold out this afternoon. Believe it or not I'm thinking a lot of PS4 owners had the same idea as me as the HDD is sold out at its current sale price across many retailers. So I have it on backorder at Amazon.

I could go either way. Speaking of, one other thing I forgot to mention in my gripes! It's about the very end:
-
You're crossing the platforms. This is either blasphemous or it's going to give you seven years corrupt save data.
-
So I've reached the limit of the stock 500GB internal drive. I could delete a few installed games, but I thought this would be a good time as any to look into a 2TB HDD. Only thing that bugs me is that I learned that while replacing the drive is as simple as it was on PS3, you can't truly back up the system. So you have to download the system file off Sony's site and back up your save files. So, anyone who has gone through this, any tips for an easier transition? I already know that 2TB is the the recommended size as larger drives either will unreliable or just not recognized.

Eh, I guess I can see where you're coming from. I didn't have the audience react that drastically. Oh, also forgot to give my theory for Kylo Ren's motive/reason.

Saw the movie today, as planned, though by the time we got there the seats were almost taken up. Still got good seats, and hell if I'm going to pay for D-Box seats. I like to sit in a seat, not be tossed around as things explode. I've read through most of everyone's spoilers now, so first here's my ranking: 1. Empire Strikes Back 2. A New Hope 3. The Force Awakens 4. Return of the Jedi 5. Return of the Sith 6. Attack of the Clones 7. The Phantom Menace I can't really place TFA over New Hope since the film does tend to rely on some throwbacks to said movie. However, that's a good thing because it's like an homage to the original trilogy in how this trilogy will begin too. Never once in the movie did I roll my eyes like I did in the prequels. This feels like a proper continuation and I am excited for the future of Star Wars. Onto spoilers, and some responses to previous spoilers: On Rey My gripes: To wrap this up, I thought the humor was just fine. Yeah, it's more humorous than say A New Hope or Empire Strikes Back, but it's not humor like The Phantom Menace. We don't have a Jar Jar and the jokes work. If you didn't crack up at BB-8's "thumbs up," or how Han advises Finn that women always find out the truth, you may want to consult a doctor. You could have a broken funny bone. EDIT: Oh, forgot to mention, I like Mali's theory of the identity of who...
-
I'll be seeing the movie tomorrow, but I wanted to hop on the Phantom Menace train. I fully support the use of the film as offering the youth some perspective on what my childhood Star Wars trilogy was like. Granted I did watch the original on VHS when I was younger, but that movie was suppose to be my generation's Star Wars. Instead, wesa got da Jar Jar.

I have not flown in about two years. Dear lord I took a wrong turn, I've made it past the crowds, and now I'm sitting here wondering how I use to do this more often.

Think of "Killed by the Architects" as physics based deaths. You see this because Destiny's physics are rather elastic. When a Phalanx (Cabal w/ shield) bashes you with it shield and you instantly fly into a rock across the map. Misadventure is stuff like falls, explosions, and suicide. Crucible will usually give credit to the last person who damaged you if you end up killing yourself.

So that One Punch Man, good stuff. Yeah I'm someone who got into One Punch Man at Episode 2 of the anime. To be completely honest, when this was just manga, I never had anyone properly explain what the series was about. "Oh, it's this really strong guy who only needs one punch." Well that sounds boring. But that's the point! Saitama, the main protagonist, is bored because he's so powerful. He's a parody of the superman archetype. Maybe if more fans explained that early on, you'd have more fans.

I guess this is the rare instance where one should hide from the Internet. I've had two things spoiled for me by just casually browsing. Article titles and ads just couldn't contain their load and are gushing with things like, "So why did JJ Abrams decided on X event for character Y?!"
-
I'm not going to be seeing the movie till Christmas Eve (family bonding). Came to post to confirm clapping for a movie in America is considered weird. First time I saw it was at LotR: Return of the King. These people two rows ahead of us stood and clapped three times during the finale. Pfft, NERDS!

As it's a Bethesda game, I've been up to random nonsense for the last 22 hours. I've got Nick now as it was a pretty solid transition going from Piper to Nick after dealing with "you know."
-
On the topic of Companions, I have Piper as a romantic relationship. Thing is the game keeps throwing companion after companion on me. If I send Piper home, is that going to drastically affect Piper (or other companions) where I would have to work her affinity up again? Not that it's hard; I'm good at picking locks and she loves it. EDIT: I also ask because I'm at the part where Dogmeat magically showed up to sniff out a "person," and now I have some Dog Armor. He looks so awesome with his goggles and bandanna!
