I dunno, we'll have to see how it performs come The Taken King. One thing I do know is that it is hands down the most powerful weapon I've ever wielded in this game, and this is a vanilla game weapon! If it was just the damage staying the same I would argue that you could probably still use it because of the Wolf Packs adding on additional damage. However, as I remember it, those are going to be part of the nerfing process.

Meant to post about this earlier today. The video I watched below: I'm excited for The Taken King now. The new components and stats actually give off the impression you're customizing your character rather than picking from a select list of armor. I also like the pledge system for Factions as I didn't want to have to always wear the respective class item while ranking up. And yes, I want a sword! I NEED a sword. I can not be a true Bladedancer until one is in my possession!

Back when I was in retail we would match online prices, even our own online-only pricing. I feel like in this day and age with online shopping so commonplace, a brick-and-mortar has to take advantage when they can versus online. In this case, no shipping fee and immediate product. Also, the user on Reddit (where I got this) got his in-store at his local Best Buy. If anything, a Wal-Mart should be very willing to price match too.

So I'm going to be on the job hunt once again and have decided now is as a good a time to use my desktop for actual work. I was planning on buying an actual desk this weekend, but given recent circumstances, I'm holding off and have connected my desktop to my 55" HDTV. The problem is that it's a 9 year-old HDTV with quite a bezel to where I can't always see words and buttons at the very edge of my screen. I've already gone into properties to increase icon and text size to 125%, but it's not a complete solution. Is there a way to to create, like, a margin for the edges of your screen?

So I've got to agree with Ethan on Sword Art Online. Granted I haven't seen the very beginning of SAO2, but the second half of the first series felt very bare bones and out of place. There were barely any characters and the relationship drama was kinda... odd. Not that it didn't have its moments, just I don't know what to make of such drama as a focal story point.

3 hours before Xur left I got in and did the toughest Weekly for 9 Strange Coins. Teammate had the worst connection ever and Omnigul is still terrible. Got my Ghally though!

Yay! Yeah, Omnigul's pretty bad at 32, on my last run we had one of our teammates run to the other side of the boss room and die (he had been dying repeatedly the whole strike) where we couldn't get to him without dying ourselves, so me and the other guy basically had to 2-man it.

Plan C is what I use for if I need a PVP Exotic Secondary. I know that people will use an Exotic Primary, and when Heavy Ammo drops, they'll take the time to switch to an Exotic Heavy. Thing is, that's not always viable and even on PS4, when compared to last-gen consoles, it still takes a few seconds to get in and get out of the menu. Of course, I've got some killer Heavies, especially two lethal team killing Machine Guns with high stability and Crowd Control. There's one in particular I have that has increased Ammo.

I'm trying to not rely on the Exotic Handcannons so much and to be able to use Exotic Secondaries and Exotic Heavies. I don't have Fatebringer, so I'm trying to find a good Legendary Handcannon. I have Red Hand IX, but I don't like the perks I roll with it all the time. Right now I had every perk on it that I wanted, but had to accept Triple Tap as the first node. Triple Tap is so finicky and even when it works, it's rather useless compared to so many other perks. I agree on Final Round and I'm always reloading before even reaching 0, but if you have great reload and a Secondary to compensate for those times an enemy is still alive, it works wonderfully. The point is that you have a Handcannon with an incredible TTK because 33% of your bullets are incredibly powerful. Of course, your second extra damage bullet will always be the last one, so there's that to consider.

Even before Xur came last night, I was given a reason to keep playing Destiny. I rolled the ideal roll for The Fulcrum! I was down to the last of my glimmer and resources, and if it didn't happen, which I was sure of, I would put Destiny down until The Taken King. If you don't know what the ideal roll is, Mr. Fruit has you covered. For me, I had Smallbore instead of Braced Frame, but I prefer that as I get a little bit of range and stability rather than a good chunk of just stability.

Watching Sword Art Online on Netflix. It is so much better than Sword Art Online II, which I've been watching on Toonami. I mean, I've always heard how the first is great and II is watch at your own risk, but it's like night and day.

I hate when a controller breaks. Most controllers now can't easily be opened and fixed without pulling a ribbon or coil that was interlocked with the triggers.

The Last Word isn't killer until you get its Exotic perk "Last Word" where you get extra damage and precision when hip firing. It's a bit glitched though because while it's definitely a full-auto handcannon if you hold down R2, it can be sensitive of your character's movement and only fire once. Also, a more positive (though unfair) glitch is that for whatever reason you can occasionally carry over the hip fire extra damage to aiming down sight. Also its range is much better than implied in its stats, and I hate it all the more for that reason. Literally been killed across a map at what should only be Thorn/Hawkmoon range.

If I had people to play with to even get an Elder Cipher, it would be Queenbreaker's Bow. It's a Fusion Rifle that acts like a Sniper Rifle. You get more reserve ammo, not to mention there are many good Exotic chest armor pieces that increase Fusion Rifle ammo capacity. Anyway, with the news of Nolan North becoming the new voice of our Ghost, someone has used North's previous voice work in place of existing Ghost moments.

I mean there are people who buy anything Platinum puts out. Yes, I know, but really they're going to be at a lose of what the hell is going on without the established context provided in the show. Perfect example is the Super Best Friends LP, a channel that loves Platinum, but only one half knew who was who or what was being referred to from the show's past.

Perhaps scenes that are suppose to be taking place in the 90's? The trailer doesn't make it clear, but I take it this is going to be one of a Past-Present origin story of sorts.

I always recommended it at $15 if you were a fan of the show. Then again, I don't know who else would play a TV show video game without having watched the show. Anyway, for a casual run through of the game once, $6 is excellent. Just, if you were to go for all the trophies, there's some tedious farming involved.

Nah, Nudist Beach was the epitome of how tongue-in-cheek the show was about its nudity. Though, there were two scenes with Aikuro that worn thin because of the slow-mo and increased lens flare. Like I get it, it's being comically dramatic, but I don't really want to be staring at this guy's glowing pink junk for 40 seconds during his explanation. Can't help but feel awkward when at the ending everyone ended up in a big...

I watched most of KIll la Kill as of tonight. Watched it on Toonami and tonight was the last episode. So I did miss some of the early episodes, but I knew the basis of the show for a long time. Not sure what to make of it, if I'm honest here. There's stuff I love, and stuff that didn't do it for me. I get most of the nudity is tongue-in-cheek, but there's still the fanservice element to it. The main antagonist getting all, well spoilers... You can feel the Gurren Lagann in the series, which is something I love. The action, battles, and presentation are all top-notch. Just, from time to time I gotta cringe when thinks get a little too sexy.
