Just join the PC master race already.

Ah okay. In this case I agree then.
-
Honestly, I'd rather play on PC, but this might require me actually buying a PS3 game for the first time in ages. The Last of Us I'm redboxing.
-
Stretch goals are usually specific about what they're adding.
-
Haven't they already said that Gaikai isn't happening on launch for PS3 games? I seem to recall a lot of the Gaikai stuff being "wait until 2014."

Game of Thrones (Current episode spoilers)

Higher res pic anywhere from the calendar? -
That's a hell of a shady deal if you have to buy 2 games used to sell them back to GS in order to buy something else.
-
Oh, well in that case fair enough. *I'd* still be upset because *I* would have wanted a low-fi Maniac Mansion / Day of the Tentacle type thing. Not some high falooting, magnum opus of a game. But if that's what I signed up to. I'd swallow my disappointment down in the pit of my stomach like a proper English man. This is why I re-iterated the "it's not a pre-order" point. You're paying for an idea. Not anything too specific in terms of the final product other than "Double Fine Adventure."
-
I think you're severely overestimating if you think that was well known.
-
Doesn't the light bar indicate what player you are instead of a tiny red LED?
-
How is it a bait and switch? People are still going to get the game. Kickstarter is not a pre-order service to begin with.
-
Just exchange it.
-
Oh, as in it's $20 worth of credit, and 3 months (usually $17.99) for that price? So you're getting $10 of credit? Interesting.

Either you two don't remember being teenagers or you were really lame teenagers.
-
Oh. I barely remember her as a villain. Just a boss battle.

This is stupid. Because studios exceeding their budget/needing their time is such a rare occurrence. Fuck off. They're being honest.
-
Either way I'd be surprised if it was in the search itself rather than the search results I've already posted.
-
Sounds like a huge dork. Hopefully they're alright socially.

The only ads that are present in 8.1 as far as I can tell are the same ones that are present in 8. Stuff like the "Weather" app having an ad way at the end of your scrolling. I'm not sure if what they're discussing is rolled out yet in this preview version. Nothing that interfers with what you do if you just use it like Windows 7. Even if you did use a lot of Win 8 apps (I still don't use any) I can't imagine it's a hassle considering where they're placed.

I'm on 8.1 right now and as far as I can tell this is only after you press enter and it loads up a page. Here's a quick search I did. I don't see any ads here yet so this is what I assume they mean: I could be wrong though. They don't make it very clear in that post. I'm making this assumption because of stuff like the new feature where you type in a celebrities name and it shows you a specialized page full of their info. It's the same sort of stuff you already see on Bing and Google but directly in your OS. So as long as you don't have any apps named "Will Smith" you're trying to launch you should be fine. It's everything you said in the first paragraph. The default search is now "Everything" with the options for Programs, File, Web Images, Web Video. So if you're following the "evolution" of search: Windows 7- Files, Settings, & Programs Windows 8- Programs. Files. Settings. All separate. Windows 8.1- Files, Settings, Programs, Web. Thank fuck all of the web based stuff is hidden behind the enter button. So if you search "Skype" you have to press enter before it shows you results for websites, the Win 8 app, etc. I mean really, this is just what they should have done in the first place but apparently the bing team needed the time to catch up.

2 and 3 are the most likely. 1 is something thought up in the minds of the kids who live in fantasy world who know nothing about business.
-
As far as I know there hasn't been anything. Maybe at Gamescom someone else will have something to show?
-
This is wrong. The game itself can require a connection just like it can require x hard drive space or any number of things.
-
Well he can absorb powers (talked about, but they haven't shown as far as I know) and I'm still waiting for them to reveal what I saw during a focus group. Hopefully they didn't pull that stuff out of the game.
