If a scene group is uploading the game it didn't come from Steam. Steam is a closed platform. Games are pirated because of disks and DRM-free releases. Actually, if it's anything like music, I would assume a lot of it comes from the versions that are sent to the press. So no, not Steam. If you release your game only on Steam this doesn't happen. Go back to your console and stay there.

What about USB headsets? WiFi Direct is a universal standard. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wi-Fi_Direct If you're thinking of S-Beam IIRC that uses NFC to establish a connection between two devices that they turn into a WiFi Direct connection. Which is clever as it makes that process incredibly simple.

What difficulty did you play on? I remember on normal that wasn't one of the hardest parts.

Yeah, the store might not let you install it, but if you sideload anything it should work on anything. It just might crash, the devs might have a built in message about not supporting your res, etc.

If you're talking into a mic you're going to be bothering someone. But yes, that's an issue even with mics, so I'm not sure why that's a negative against Kinect. Either way my point was that out of the box both have online voice.

What about in Demon's Souls/Dark Souls? This seems a bit comparable to that. Haven't played either of those (Dark Souls is on my backlog), so I can't say. I will say that even in the MMOs I've played I preferred PvE over PvP. I bring up these games because lots of titles seem to be taking what they started (or at least popularized) of combining both of these. What we saw at E3 from Destiny and this game was seamless whereas in Demons/Dark it's only seamless depending on what you're doing.

You don't talk to people online like human beings? I was referring to using Kinect as a mic for in-game chat.
