Why do they keep changing the design of Thanos? I wasn't even completely positive it was him until it showed the Infinity Gauntlet, because of how much different he looked than he has in the stingers we've seen.

Got a 500GB SSD for my boot drive. I've already got one that has my games on it. My PC has been behaving oddly and I've been meaning to do a clean install of Windows anyway, so I figure that's the perfect time to upgrade drives.

It's that time of year again. After one year of getting started early, this year I'm late again. The Steam Autumn Sale starts tomorrow and runs through next Tuesday, so I'm going to set a tentative sign up deadline of this Friday, November 24, so we can hopefully catch the tail end of it. That's subject to extension though depending on how many people sign up. If you want to be part of the fun just post in this thread. Rules: Digital gifts only, typically Steam since it's the easiest to mess around with wishlists and gifting on. Other services/gift cards are fine though. Make sure your Steam wishlist/other wishlists are up to date. Suggested price of $10, though under or over is not against the rules. What this means is, don't expect a $60 gift--if your Santa gets you a $5 gift that's on your wishlist, that's all he's required to do. But if you're feeling ultra-rich or ultra-generous, we won't thumb our noses at higher priced presents. Multiple gifts are fine. Gifting period will officially commence alongside the Steam Winter Sale, which I believe is supposed to begin December 22 this year. You can gift earlier though if you find a killer deal. Mario Odyssey I wasn't really feeling this game at the beginning. It was good, but it wasn't blowing my mind the way it seemed to be for other people. It definitely grew on me as it went on there. My biggest complaint is that the stars moons are so common, and many of them are so simple to get, that they don't feel very rewarding. They're barely rarer than the purple coins. My other little niggle is just that I would have liked a real hub world like Mario 64 and Sunshine had. Even Galaxy had more of a hub than Odyssey. I really loved being able to take over all the different kinds of enemies. It was so much fun. Best Mario gimmick ever. I still want sequels to NSMB and SM3D though.

I started playing Prey this weekend. I'm quite enjoying it so far. I got it because I was looking for something like Dishonored but that I hadn't played before, which this isn't, it's way more Bioshock than Dishonored, but I'm loving it anyway. The graphics are weirdly not good though. I think they were going for the the same kind of look as Dishonored, but in the sci-fi setting it doesn't come off so much painterly as just low-quality-textures.

Doom 2016 was $12 on DLGamer, so I bought it.
