Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty. I played for 45 minutes, finished the first level/chapter/whatever, and it just was not doing it for me. I honestly have no idea what people see in this game. The controls are terrible, and even if they were good the game is just not engaging.

Just finished Far Harbor. Overall it was a good expansion, though it ends kind of abruptly.

I shall have to keep an eye on it.

Not saying it was used exclusively by the upper classes, but the upper classes used it almost ubiquitously, so of course they're not going to outlaw it.

It's not primarily tax reasons though, if it were marijuana would be legal and they'd just tax the shit out of it. Really it's more to do with the fact that "respectable" people used alcohol and nicotine when drugs were starting to be regulated, and undesirables used marijuana and other drugs.

Did you ever play Human Revolution? If not I'd try that one before jumping into this one.

Yeah, alcohol and nicotine are massively grandfathered in for historic cultural reasons that have nothing to do with their harm/benefit balance.

I agree re: whitewashing. Though to be fair Asian actors are probably a lot more plentiful in America than white actors in Japan.

A hands-on from RPS. The biggest takeaway is that due to the AI "agendas" they now appear to be much more rational actors, as you can pinpoint the causes of why they did what they did. Every single thing I hear about this game makes me want it more.

All the talk has me wanting to get into it, but 1) my new graphics card is still a week away, and 2) I can never get in to multiplayer games. The only multiplayer games I've ever really gotten into were Tribes, MNC, and Destiny (and in Destiny I only played PvE).

I do know about the character map, but Google is faster.

From everything I was seeing about their supposed performance differences (granted info on the 1070 is sketchy right now) it looks like the 1080 should be ~50% more powerful and is ~50% more expensive (at least the FE), so I decided to go with the more future-proof and 4k-capable one. If I had a 970 I wouldn't be even considering upgrading for quite some time yet.

I clearly need to watch the first 5 seasons again. I didn't even remember who the Children of the Forest were for like 2 episodes.
