Yeah, alcohol and nicotine are massively grandfathered in for historic cultural reasons that have nothing to do with their harm/benefit balance.

I agree re: whitewashing. Though to be fair Asian actors are probably a lot more plentiful in America than white actors in Japan.

A hands-on from RPS. The biggest takeaway is that due to the AI "agendas" they now appear to be much more rational actors, as you can pinpoint the causes of why they did what they did. Every single thing I hear about this game makes me want it more.

All the talk has me wanting to get into it, but 1) my new graphics card is still a week away, and 2) I can never get in to multiplayer games. The only multiplayer games I've ever really gotten into were Tribes, MNC, and Destiny (and in Destiny I only played PvE).

From everything I was seeing about their supposed performance differences (granted info on the 1070 is sketchy right now) it looks like the 1080 should be ~50% more powerful and is ~50% more expensive (at least the FE), so I decided to go with the more future-proof and 4k-capable one. If I had a 970 I wouldn't be even considering upgrading for quite some time yet.

Have you tried threatening it with physical violence? I have found that works surprisingly often. Windows has the ability to have different volume levels for different programs, is it possible the Windows volume somehow got turned down without the master volume getting turned down? (I'm being literal with that question, I don't know if that's even possible.)
