  1. I think you're being generous by calling it okay.
  2. I finally got Khepri's Sting yesterday from a Xur engram. I'd been waiting for him to either carry it outright or at least have arm engrams, and he finally did. Was a bit worried because I only had enough Motes of Light to buy like 9 engrams, but I got it on the second one so everything worked out.
  3. ^Yeah but that's my point, even if Fassbender himself does wonderfully that doesn't mean the movie will be good.
  4. It's more shareable on a forum, it's not more shareable for randos who just use their smartphones and want to just click "share" on their Instagram app.
  5. Because Instagram gave them money to?
  6. I don't think it's the same as the taser thing at all. The taser thing is almost the opposite: you have to get tased so that you understand what you're doing to someone and maybe think a little bit harder before actually doing it. They're not trying to condition you to use the taser as quickly as possible without thinking.
  7. Good actors can be in bad movies. See Liam Neeson, Natalie Portman, and Ewin McGregor in Star Wars: Episode I.
  8. That's what everyone said about super hero games until Arkham Asylum. There's a first time for everything. But yeah, this probably won't be that time.
  9. What the fuck is wrong with these people?
  10. I'll believe it when I see it (on home media).
  11. New survey shows young people aren't 100% heterosexual. Research by same group finds sky is blue, Pope is Catholic, bears shit in woods.

When that polar bear somehow ended up in that mysterious island, I imagine it got stressed and ate a lot. So it probably did shit a lot as well.

  12. But it would also be easy to do because you're not paying much attention and put it in the wrong way, or let someone else use your phone or something. It's stupid of them to make it physically possible to put it in backwards.
  13. From what I've read the difference on the Note 5 is that the back end is the same size as the rest of the pen so it slides in backward without trouble.
  14. Nice. Too bad the screen's so big. My S4 is already on the edge of being too big.
  15. My aunt has an S6 and the camera on that thing is great too. I always thought the pictures my S4 took were perfectly fine, but her phone blows them away. Don't know how it compares to the Moto X Whatever though.
  16. I haven't found anything specifically better than the S6 either, but I can't bring myself to get an S6 because it doesn't have a slot for an SD card and the battery isn't user-changeable, so I'm staying with my S4 for now.
  17. Hmm, looked James Corden up on iMDB and of his 4 "known for" movies I haven't even heard of any of them.
  18. No need to wait for the Win 10 notification, just go here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10
  19. Oh the joys of building my first PC. I turned it on and the graphics card just starts screaming. It was SO LOUD. Apparently that's the sound it makes when you forget to plug the graphics card power cords into it.
  20. I think it's a 960. Digital Foundry just did a review of the 950, in which they compared its performance to the 960, and in their tests the 960 was bottoming out at 40 fps in Crysis 3, and that's with settings turned down to get the average up to 60. http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digitalfoundry-2015-nvidia-geforce-gtx-950-review They have this nice chart, with 960 framerates on the right: *Edit - They were performing those tests with an i7 to eliminate any CPU bottlenecking. *Edit 2 - It appears that on that second test Crysis 3 on High was averaging 74 fps, so maybe it actually is the i5 that's your bottleneck.
  21. Scientists grow human brain (equivalent to 5-week fetus) in a lab. I'm normally on board with the progress of science, but this makes me a little uncomfortable... Not this brain specifically, but where this line of research could lead.
