  1. It's so refreshing when the forum actually loads quickly. No pun intended.

      I don't get the pun........

I see it, but I'm not sure its an actual pun. I may however be wrong.

If it's a pun it's a bad one, but it really was unintentional which is why I added hat last part.

as in to "refresh" the browser page. Usually done when something breaks.

  2. Alright, we're getting started a little late this year, but let's do this! Mine: Microsoft Halo 2 Anniversary for Xbone, possibly as part of the Master Chief Anthology (Halo 1, 2, 3 & 4 all ported to Xbone) Price cut for 360 Boring TV boringness Hopefully more info about the June Xbone update, especially taking out a lot of the interface weirdnesses cause by Kinect (particularly the fact that you can't even use Upload Studio at all without Kinect attached). Sony The Last Guardian for PS4! (Hey, I can dream...) More info about Uncharted 4 More info about Gravity Rush 2 Possible price cut for PS3 Rime Vita TV North America! Nintendo Blah blah, Wii U's still good, blah blah Way more focus on 3DS than I care about Probably no Zelda anything Smash Bros Other Some kind of Mass Effect reveal New Red Dead on next-gen More Mirror's Edge info? AC: Unity and whatever the last-gen AC is (Comet?) - I predict that these will actually be highly related games, similar to how Splinter Cell: Double Agent had a Gen 6 and Gen 7 version, but they weren't ports, they were actually constructed separately. Dragon Age info, obvs And whatever else I think of later and decide to add
  3. You know, it says something about the randomization in this game that this is the first time I've seen something like this.
  4. My understanding from what Ubi has said is that it has something to do with the way textures are streamed from system ram to graphics ram. On the consoles it's all one pool of ram so it doesn't need to move it, but on PC it has to move it to the graphics card and that's what's slowing it down. Essentially they didn't optimize properly for the different memory arrangement when they ported it.
  5. Yeah, it's a competent GTA clone with a neat hook. One thing I love is the different dynamic the hacking gives the police chases, way better than GTA where they always felt like a chore after a little while.
  6. Same. Though it won't be here until the end of the week, and I'm going out of town for a wedding all weekend.
  7. Well player search isn't working right for me right now, so I can't add you, but the app you want is ctOS Mobile.
  8. Mittens! Mittens for everyone!
  9. We need everybody's uPlay screennames for the app! 3 guesses what mine is.
  10. But that doesn't explain why it's just the first few seconds. If it were the whole thing I'd agree with you.
  11. Not sure why the first few seconds are so blocky, the rest is much better and the original video doesn't have anything like that.
  12. The first one is good enough considering the time it was made, the rest are all pretty bad.
  13. Yeah, I agree, I wish there was more you could accomplish with the hacking. Whoever on the previous page said it's just the equivalent of shooting a red barrel was pretty much right most of the time.
  14. Yeah, that's the impression I've got too. Aiden started out as a regular conman and has learned to use premade exploits created by other people, but doesn't do any real hacking.
  15. Hmm, the only time I've noticed pedestrians going nuts is when I'm driving down the sidewalk, but then that's kind of to be expected.
  16. Yeah, the world really does feel very alive. Stuff like that picture, people talking on the phone and sounding like they're actually having a conversation, etc. I've played ~8 hours and so far I've only heard a repeat NPC dialog once (not counting combat barks, but even those haven't gotten super repetitive yet).
  17. Because reading detailed information about something can be much worse than just the vague acknowledgement that the thing exists? Being considerate of others, how ridiculous!
  18. Meh, Cyclops was lame in those movies anyway.
  19. FedEx is taunting me: my copy of Watch Dogs arrived in the local distro center this morning at 12:56 AM, but it still won't be delivered until tomorrow. :(

I feel your pain, E. I bought a brand new turntable via Amazon.ca and it's been sitting in Edmonton since Friday. EDMONTON, ETHAN... EDMONTON!!!! I was really hoping it'd get here today. :(

      Waldorf and Statler

you keep saying edmonton like I'm supposed to know what that is. This is America.

Also Gamefly has sent me both Watchdogs and Wolfenstein. Wolfenstein was sent last saturday and it still hasn't arrived. Fucking postal service.

  20. Oh no, Days of Future Past was SO MUCH better than First Class. I haven't seen the other X-Men films recently enough to be able to accurately rank them though. Other than to say Wolverine Origins is at the bottom (unless The Wolverine is worse, I haven't see that one at all).
  21. I honestly don't get why everyone's creaming themselves over Quicksilver. Is there something outside the movies themselves that's causing it?
