I'm looking forward to Outlast, and want to try Remember Me as well. I've had my eye on it for a while, but like Strangelove the reception put me off. But it's definitely worth free.

Okay, I got it figured out. I used the old link, clicked on "My Games" at the top, then had it send me my password (since I'd never gotten one before), logged in with that new password and it shows the new game.

Oh fuck, no. The first three games we'd played had just been my wife and me, so I'd gotten too used to just leavingit in the deck.

My wife and I played the beginner scenario with my sister last night. At that point my wife and I had each played 3 games already, and yet my sister won! Her victory highlighted what I think is a flaw in the beginner scenario: the amount of money is so low that you're better off not hiring crew or buying equipment and instead just keeping the $3,000 you start with. I mean, with that money you're already halfway to the goal, she just did three low-paying but legal jobs and then sold some extra cargo she'd picked up. She also REALLY lucked out with her burns, didn't draw a single breakdown, Reaver or Alliance Cruiser card (in comparison I drew the Reaver Cutter card twice and the Cruiser card once). The only card she ever drew that actually stopped her was the customs check card, but even that time she was only one space short of her destination, so she just moseyed over there for the first action of her next turn. I'm thinking if we play the beginner scenario again we'll probably up the payoff amount to $8,000. It's still low so the game won't take forever, but it means you have to do more than the two jobs you start with to get the amount, and will encourage hiring crew and upgrading the ship so the newbs can experience a little bit more of the mechanics. All of that said, even losing that game is really fun. And I would have only been two turns behind her except I got stopped by the Alliance while burning across their space to try to finish my final smuggling mission for the payout. Kinda hard to get paid for delivering contraband when the feds impound it all.

Well lucky for you I had the revised rules in my head, which allow battleships to take two hits before sinking, so I sunk both my battleships when I had much less expensive things I could have sacrificed.

It was working properly for a little while yesterday, but it seems to have stopped again. *Edit* - Of course it works properly on the post where I mention it not working properly...

It doesn't matter if he cares or if he has any malice, it's still an accusation, and a serious one. If people start believing they stole the code, whether it's true or not, it could have a huge effect on their reputation and future prospects.
