When the Wii U first launched they were selling the Deluxe at a slight launch. According to Reggie if you only bought the console they took a loss, but if you bought the console and 1 game then they made a net profit on the whole transaction. You have slightly more options for screenshots, which you can upload either to Facebook or Twitter! Woo! No one knows why you can't just stick the raw video on a USB stick, that seems like it would be the obvious answer. Especially considering you can copy saves onto one, so it's not like they don't support it at all.

Yeah, the best you can expect is for the daily deal price to be repeated in a flash sale, I've never seen it be lower.

I had made a really awesome video that I wanted to upload where I was capturing a fort in a raging thunderstorm, and there were like four frigates that happened to sail by and come to the aid of the fort. It was great. But somehow I lost the video.

It wasn't in my wish list, but when I realized it's down to $10 I decided to get it since that's probably the same price that the story DLC will be and I was probably going to end up getting that when it came out anyway.

A little better, but not much. When I downloaded it it was 94 MB, down from the 300 MB it was on my PS4. And Facebook is kind of notorious for shitty compression.

It is possible to upload PS4 games to Youtube (some AC4 spoilers): The quality is surprisingly high considering that to get that I had to upload it to Facebook from the PS4, download it from Facebook to my PC using a ripper, and then upload the resulting file back to Youtube.

Yeah, I'd thought about that too. I figure I'll wait til toward the end of each flash sale or daily deal before buying anything from it for myself, so that my santa can have plenty of time to get something from it if they want. On the flip side I'll try and buy my thing for my target as early as possible.

PS4 version. Got it cause I wanted Freedom Cry, each episode of which is $10, and the season pass is $20, so I figured I might as well get that and also get the extra stuff even though I'll probably never use it.

I think the point is probably just to reassure people that this is just a spinoff and not a change in the direction of the series.
