Has anyone successfully redeemed the 30 day trial? I'm not sure if it's a stacking issue or if there's a problem with those codes.

If there is I haven't been able to find it, and I've looked. It seems to me like that stuff automatically downloads when you play the game though, if you've redeemed the key. I am by no means sure of that though.

I've got a gigabit/802.11n network. Two of this router (one in AP mode): http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007KZQM9Q/ref=oh_details_o04_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 The PS4 is connected to the router with a wire, gigabit connection. I was on the other side of the house when I tried it (maybe 30 feet away in a straight line), but the signal strength seemed fine, there was no stuttering and the video quality was fantastic, there was just some input latency. I experienced the same latency when I connected directly to the PS4 rather than through the network, although in that case the signal strength wasn't as good and I did get some video issues as a result.

One more thing on the passport: You still have to select the "activate my passport" option. It doesn't actually make you put in the code though, it's just like "Oh yay, you have it!"

Just tried out remote play. Both over my home network and through direct connect there is a small amount of latency. It's perfectly manageable for Assassin's Creed, but a twitch shooter would be unplayable I think. *Edit* - I shouldn't say unplayable, but it would be difficult. The latency is comparable to my HDTV if I forget to put it in game mode.

I just confirmed that PS4 games are now available on the Sony Entertainment Network web store, so if you have PS+ but don't yet have a PS4 you should be able to "buy" the free games through the website and then download them on the PS4 when you do get it.

Also the AC4 passport codes aren't working, which isn't that big a deal because they patched them out, but to get the patch you have to run AC4 and then exit all the way back out of it (not just return to dashboard, you have to actually close the program). Then the next time you start the game it will apply the patch. *Edit* - To tell whether you have the patch highlight the game on the dash, hit the options button and select information. The patch makes it version 1.01, the disc is version 1.00.

It gives me an error code, but I'm not sure if it's cause I'm already a + member or if it's just because their network is wonky atm.

This Options button location is going to take some getting used to, I keep hitting the touchpad.

I actually already did it and the downloads kept right on going.

Got signed in again and have been for the last 10 minutes or so. Seems much more stable now, obviously, I've even been able to redeem my PSN codes.

Got signed in. Holy shit going between the store and the dash is fast and amazing. It takes 0 seconds, instead of the 15 minutes the PS3 takes. *Edit* - lol, I was signed in for all of 90 seconds and now it's telling me PSN is undergoing maintenance. Was able to start downloads on my PS+ games though.

Like a normal person. I realized that it was actually just that I was reaching for all the buttons as a test rather than actually using the controller, so I was trying to touch them with the first joint of my finger like I would the trigger, but in actual gameplay I hit it with a different part of my finger and it's not awkward at all. *Edit* - Has anyone been able to sign in to PSN yet?

Alright, EXTREMELY preliminary thoughts I jotted down while unpacking it: R1 & L1 are a little awkward to get to, but the rest of the controller is fantastic. The sticks especially feel MUCH better than the DS3. The supposed wobble issue is just people looking for problems. You have to press pretty hard on the corner to get it to move, and I can't really see how that would be an issue during normal use. I like the power light strip on top of the console, very cool and futuristic looking. I like how far apart the USB ports are. My USB stick is kind of wide and there's still plenty of room for both it and the DS4 charge cable to be plugged in next to each other. The shape of the console is definitely much more attractive in person. Still wish it weren't so long and narrow, but the length is hidden where I have it so it's not really an issue. OMG the d-pad is amazing. The edges of the DS3's d-pad would sometimes hurt my thumb after a while, but the indentation in the middle of this one cradles it perfectly. The on-screen keyboard has no indication of what the backspace button is. I knew it was X just because I've used the PS3 enough, but it's still odd. Can't sign into PSN, so I guess that's it for the night. I was going to post a direct screen capture, but I guess a camera phone shot will have to do. And now I'm off to bed. *Edit* - One more thing: make sure to go manually set your color range to Full if your device supports it. Mine was incorrectly auto-detecting Limited, and when I manually changed it all the colors got much more vivid.

I liked Infamous 1 a lot. The gameplay in 2 was better but the structure of the game wasn't as good IMO. I'm hopeful for SS. And yeah, I was irritated when I realized it was a lame cover rather than the original.

Yeah, it was probably a villain. When I realized it wasn't TLoU and it wasn't Drake I was hoping for a new IP.

The narrator of that teaser was clearly not Drake though.

I'd get it, if just for the story dlc. I rented the PS3 version but liked it enough that I wouldn't feel bad retroactively paying for it.

lol, sorry, when I looked at your post of the other one I was on my phone and it just doesn't display anything when there's an embedded video, so I never saw it.

I actually like the styling of the Xbone better (except the size). The PS4 does keep growing on me though.
