That's good. It's fun to hate on Microsoft, but I'd hate for that guy to get screwed over just cause he was excited for the console.

I missed it because when I played it the first time I was only passingly familiar with Metroidvania, so it didn't jump out at me. Now that I'm replaying it after having played a few Metroidvania games it's much more obvious.

And it's exactly the same distance away. *Edit* - I would do it if their were 3 retail games I really wanted, but there aren't, just one I really want and a few I have my eye on.

I'm replaying Arkham Asylum. I didn't realize it before, but it plays to me very much like a 3D expansion of the metroidvania concept, something I like and I feel like was kind of lost in City and Origins.

The most ridiculous part is that everything he'd said about the Xbone was positive. It's like they went "How can we take all this positive pre-release PR and turn it into a giant negative? I know, we'll ban him!"

Bringing a cake in isn't bad unless the place you're bringing it also serves cake. I doubt the bar offers birthday cake. But yeah, generally don't bring another business' food into a business that serves food.

Just AC4 for retail at launch, though I've got my eyes on Killzone and Knack depending on what reviews say, and then Infamous and Destiny early next year. Plus downloadable games.

If you're talking about PS4, you can play offline without the day one update, so launch day has nothing to do with that...

Yeah, that. PS4 can't play multiplayer or watch Netflix, but you can still play games.

Yeah, and giving away a month could help people see what some of the benefits are beyond multiplayer, making the multiplayer thing easier to swallow.
