That's their subjective opinion, which does not align with mine at all. In all their comparison shots the PS3 version looks blurry and jaggy compared to the 360 version, imo. I will concede that in motion it often looks nearly indistinguishable. But again, I was just using that to come to the conclusion that I don't think the 360 version of GTA V will be /worse/ than the PS3 version, so the $20 credit was worth it. I fully expect both versions of this game to be functionally indistinguishable at all times.
-
Considering that, while the multiplayer in this looks neat, I don't really care for multiplayer much and I got a $20 credit with my copy, I'd still say 360.
-
I don't think I've ever found a game scary, so for me in the context of games scary = tense.
-
Fine, Hottie and I will just play on 360 together and NONE OF YOU ARE INVITED!
-
Oh I'm sure they will. Like I said, the main thing was the $20 credit. The fact that GTAIV was better on 360 just convinced me to not NOT get the 360 version really. Cause my assumption would have been that the PS3 version was better.

Yeah, I think of him as Gabe. Every time someone calls him Mike I have to stop and go "wait a minute, which one is that?"

Every single thing other than the shadows. Even the lighting the only difference was an adjusted color palette, not actually any difference in the way the lighting was handled. http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/grand-theft-auto-iv-ps3-vs-xbox-360-special-article

How about BaseFuckwadity + AudienceSize*Anonymity = CurrentFuckwadity? *Edit* - Or, even better, AudienceSize*(BaseFuckwadity + Anonymity) = Fuckwad Coefficient. Anonymity would of course be expressed as a decimal, with 0.0 being no anonymity whatsoever and 1.0 being absolute, complete anonymity. BaseFuckwadity is on a similar scale, with 0.0 being Mr. Rodgers and 1.0 being Rush Limbaugh.
-
It's on 2. You install one and then play from the other, so there's no disc swapping.
-
How about AudienceSize*Anonymity = Fuckwad Coefficient. I don't have any issue with the term, though it does bother me when people use it as a justification for disregarding what you say. Using a label as a reason to ignore someone is just bad in general though.

360, since the 360 version of GTAIV was technically superior to the PS3 version so I figure this one will either also be better or they will be comparable and it won't matter. Also the Microsoft store gave $20 of Live credit with the preorder. Mostly the $20 credit. *Edit* - Okay, I don't generally give two shits about multiplayer, but that sounds awesome.

Ha, while I can see the similarity, I think I'd be a little more upset about screwing up a test. Most classes I probably would have, but that one dropped your lowest test grade (including the final), it was the last test before the final, and I had A's on all the earlier ones. So all it meant was that I had to actually take the final instead of skipping it like I'd been planning.
-
That story makes me think of a time, that's an entirely different situation, but I was in university and we had a test in one of my classes that I thought I did pretty good on, probably a B, maybe an A if I got lucky. The next week when we got the grades back I learned I had gotten a 33%. It was so far below my expectations that I wasn't even upset, I just started laughing. If I'd gotten a C I'd have been disappointed, a D I'd have been mad, but the F---- was just too much.

While I agree with most of what you said, tape being seen as socially acceptable, or not a big deal, is a real problem in some parts of our collective culture, particularly the Greek system at certain universities. Rape culture is neither a meaningless term, not without merit.

Get outta here dudebro!

I won't deny that the main series plot is ridiculous and convoluted, but I've never had an issue knowing what was going on (except when things are supposed to be a mystery). I want my games to feel like there's a reason I'm doing what I'm doing, and the missions in this game were all so disconnected from each other that I never felt that.
-
The problem I found with the sorry is that it's so minimal it's almost not even there. You'll start a mission and the beginning cutscene will have them talking about all this stuff that's supposedly been happening that you will have had no idea about and that you just have to infer. I felt like I never knew what any of the characters were talking about half the time, and that was very off-putting.

I put 18 hours into Liberation, so I felt like I got my money's worth. I mean, you're right, it's probably not as good as Revelations, but it's not all that much worse.
-
I wouldn't go so far as to say I didn't like it, but it certainly wasn't great, even as Assassin's Creed games go. I'd put it about on par with Revelations.

You mean the loser platform that losers play.
-
Or, if it's to deter people from doing it constantly, make it so you can only do it every so often. Like, you get a pool of three, and they regenerate one every three months or something.

I feel like I'm someone who's normally very sensitive to gender issues, but I can't think of a single time people have flipped out at PA over Gabe's comments that it hasn't seemed like an overreaction to me. The only thing that I really agree with is that it was a dick move to make the dickwolves merch as a response to people bothered by the comic. Everything else, including the initial reaction to the comic, just seemed overboard to me. See, it's wanting that kind of thing, but when we're both doing things that require either using the TV or being in another room. Remote play fixes that and allows us to do those things in the same room, while still being together. Honestly, if it were just up to me, I'd be perfectly content to sit in my game room office on the PC playing while she's in the living room, but it makes her happy for me to be out in the same room with her so it's worth it to me to do that. If I thought Shield would be an adequate replacement I'd totally go that way, but that would cost between $700 and $1000 to get set up adequately (depending on what GPU I got), which is more than I'm willing to spend when I can accomplish the same thing with a $400 PS4.
-
Why? Because of the dickwolves brouhaha?
-
What is it? $15 per month? I wouldn't have a problem with them saying "new accounts have to buy at least 3 months to start up", so they still get their $45 up front, I just don't like paying for the game itself when they're going to be getting a sub out of it.

What rare or valuable games do you own?
TheMightyEthan replied to Mister Jack's topic in General Gaming Chat
Holy shit, that's one of the 64 games I have. I just checked and the cart by itself (which is all I have) is worth like $50-60. I never would have called that.
