Oh, I see. Carry on then.

Fine. Invoked.

Yeah, at the moment I'm leaning toward getting a PS4 when Destiny comes out, and then maybe not day-one-ing next Halo (which actually doesn't even look like it will be Halo 5).
-
God that's gorgeous. Graphics are somewhere between TF2 and Wind Waker. Also in terms of gameplay its giving me Ico/Journey vibes. That's a good thing. *Edit* - Who's developing it? SCEE is the only company I see mentioned. Never mind, XDEV. Tequila Works. Man, I'm retarded.

Well, let me put it this way: the last system-selling Sony exclusive game for me was Shadow of the Colossus. Though you did remind me about Infamous, Media Molecule, and Quantic Dream, which while not system-sellers on their own they are attractive enough to matter on the scales. Xbone literally only has Halo (and fucking Viva Pinata if they would make a third one). *Edit* - I take that back, Gravity Rush was the last system-selling Sony exclusive for me. Fucking great game. *Edit 2* - Let me put it yet another way: given that, due to Halo, it is 99% certain that I am going to get an Xbone next fall, the question is whether I should get a PS4 also, when Destiny releases, or just get the Xbone earlier.
-
Both. Other people's opinions help me think through my own.

After thinking about it some more, I think what will be the ultimate factor for me will be how multiplats compare on the two. If PS4 is consistently and significantly better than Xbone then I'll get a PS4, if they're the same, or if Xbone is better (hah!), then I'll get an Xbone.

Here's the thing with Halo 4: I can't argue with anything you just said, but I still loved it for some reason. The play mechanics are just constructed in a way that I find intensely enjoyable, so it being/becoming generic doesn't really bother me. Killzone, on the other hand, just played like meh, imo. KZ2 was okay, KZ3 I didn't even finish.

I haven't heard anything about that, but doesn't mean it's not true.

I'm still torn as to which console to get. I'll be getting one when Destiny comes out, but I just can't decide. PS4 has better hardware and is cheaper and has off-screen play with Vita which is FUCKING AMAZING. Xbone has Halo. Because of Halo, I know I'll be getting an Xbone eventually, so I feel like I might as well just get it for Destiny so I don't have to get both. But at the same time, off-screen play is a huge deal for me. Also Destiny has "exclusive content" on Sony platforms, but that's really not nearly as big a consideration for me as the other stuff is. I guess I've still got like 6+ months to decide.

So apparently the Vita version is missing content that the other versions have. That's shady as hell, given that there wasn't anything obvious to distinguish that version pre-release.

A pop-up warning on Steam itself would be nice. A tweet's easy to miss.

I take issue with this use of it by some people, because sometimes the Nazis or Hitler are a valid point of comparison. Yes, there are many more time when it's inappropriate, but just because they came up doesn't mean there wasn't a good reason.

Standard 3D headset?

Being a tad snobby, I do tend to be a bit judgmental about those parents too.
-
Once I saw the 2DS side-by-side with a 3DS it looked much more attractive. I was imagining it much larger than it is.

I see you preordered it for the loser platform. Have fun being a loser, loser.

Hmm, learn something new everyday. And yeah, I think the Famicom looks more like a toy than the NES.
-
Steelbooks can choke on a dick. Also, when I stole your image last time I didn't realize you weren't hotlinking. Sorry.
-
If you want it to look like the NES the red needs to be a lot darker and the white needs to be a dull grey.
-
I've never seen smh before that I can recall, but first impressions are I don't like it. It not being pronounceable is a big part of that.

I had my eyebrow pierced for a couple years too, but took it out for a job fair and afterward I couldn't get it back in, so that was that.

Is it like motorized?

How is the cat spinning?

Because at the time it came out I did most of my gaming on 360. My computer was quite dated and I didn't have a PS3. Also, I only got into RPGs around the time KotOR came out, and I played that on Xbox, so I don't have these memories of the old Baldur's Gate games that I want Bioware to go back to. I loved the combat in KotOr, Dragon Age: Origins on 360 and Dragon Age 2 on PC both played like that, so I was happy. I am glad I didn't get DA2 on 360, since apparently they turned it into an action RPG.
