We took her back to the vet yesterday and he ran some more blood work and said her kidneys are failing. He gave her maybe a 25% chance of recovery. He said that we could leave him there over the weekend and they could put in an IV to try to rehydrate her to see if that would help, but that it's possible even if we did that she'd die over the weekend, so we decided to bring her home instead and do the best we can here. If she's still alive on Monday then my wife is going to take her in to get the IV fluids during the day, without having to leave her there so long.

I think the deep discounts are the only reason why Steam works so well, so unless MS can emulate that part of the business model it's not going to fly.

I think you're confusing this with I Am Alive. The only thing I've heard about empty guns with this game is that the enemies can hear the click when you run out of ammo and know to come murder you.

I agree that most people probably won't know or care about the restrictions (at least near launch, depending on how that goes it might get bad word of mouth), but I think the $100 price difference will help Sony immensely.

Nintendo will really have to turn the Wii U around to beat Xbone, even if Xbone only does well at all in the US.

Yeah, I don't really care about the timeline of gadgets and stuff. I view it like a comic book, where pretty much every one is going to be set in the near future regardless of where they fall in the timeline.

Our cat (actually my wife's cat that she's had since she was 7) is really sick. She's stopped eating, hasn't pooped that we know of in like a week, has started peeing on the floor instead of in the litter box all of a sudden (the same time the other things started), and just sits curled up under one corner of our bed 24/7. We took her to the vet and he said she has a UTI (which may have been caused by a weakened immune system from steroids prescribed for her because of this eye allergy thing) and he gave us antibiotics, but I'm really worried about her.

I'm not saying I think you should be able to ghost the whole game, but I was also hoping it wouldn't devolve into just another cover shooter, which is what it seems like happened.

I still haven't played more than the demo since it uses Origin. But as someone who enjoyed the first game, I feel like I'm probably better off.

I've gotten the impression that there's lots of forced combat where you can't stealth, I was hoping for stealth to be a more viable option at most times.

I'm just worried that it will focus too much on combat, which I never thought was the strength of the Uncharted series and it doesn't look like it would be the strength of this one either.

Also, and correct me if I'm wrong, but I didn't think MS has said anything about The Cloud improving graphics. They talk about being able to have these big persistent worlds, but then that comment all of a sudden goes off about how it can't help graphics, which is not what they're talking about at all. I mean, they've said that the servers can update slow stuff like the pre-baked lighting that doesn't matter if it's up to the second, which could arguably be improving the graphics, but there's no question that that's possible.

That site instantly lost all credibility with me with this article. Claiming the Wii U an 875% increase in sales because it jumped from #390 to #40 on Amazon UK's sales rankings, but that math is all kinds of fucked. What they actually did was figure that 390 is 975% of 40, subtract 100% for the 40 and you're left with an 875% "increase", which just doesn't make any sense at all. For all they know Wii U sales dropped but everything else dropped more, leaving it with a higher rank (which is admittedly unlikely). It's just really shady reporting.

Is that the dev or MS though? I was under the impression that except for free trial weekends MS doesn't allow any kind of multiplayer for non-Gold.
