Well yes, but 1) NK might actually do it because goddamn, 2) with other nuclear-armed countries it's at least about giving as good as you get (you get wiped out but so does the other guy), but NK has such a limited stockpile of fissile material they would likely only be able to get a couple warheads out of it, and 3) I wasn't specifically meaning a nuclear attack, just any kind of major attack.

Well considering Brotherhood is quite possibly the best Assassin's Creed game that's not necessarily a bad thing. The retro one that has been rumored is a silver-age one, and that one is being developed by Rocksteady, it's just not expected until 2014. Though it is possible that people are wrong about the date and it could be Rocksteady's one this year.

Yeah, shockingly prescient. About the only thing wrong about it was the idea that everyone would use Skype for their primary phone, and that they'd all be separate devices. The most impressive thing to me is that those screens are basically flat-panels, they're not 3 feet deep like the screens of that time.

Yeah, I seem to recall having this conversation over and over again since the Wii U was announced. You'd think someone from Nintendo would have noticed the confusion in the year and a half between the announcement and the release. Nintendo really doesn't know what it's doing.

I disconnected my Kinect when I was watching Netflix, discussing the show with my wife, one of my gestures about what I was saying made it think I was "waving" to activate it, and then something I said caused it to stop the show and start a different show. Horrible experience. The Netflix app is also shitty as all hell. Especially if you want to watch a specific episode of a TV series. I've been using the PS3 as my primary media device for a couple years now, and I have Gold so it's not even like the price is the issue, I just find the PS3's implementation of the software better. *Edit* - The only reason I was using the 360 that time is because PSN was down for maintenance so I couldn't connect. That's the one place where Xbox beats PS3: Live doesn't go down for maintenance three times a week.

I've also started playing Pokemon White for while my wife doesn't want me hogging the TV. I played like 10 hours yesterday, so apparently I'm not going to lose interest with this one like I have done with Gens 2-4. I like the Pokemon in these a lot better than the other later gen games I've played; they seem more stylistically in line with Gen 1 in a way I can't really articulate, but I like.

According to EA the infinite resources aren't a glitch, it's intentional and won't be patched out.

I started playing The Last Story yesterday, but only got to play for about half an hour. Going to jump back into it today.

My wife runs into a related problem a lot at work (she works as a case manager for kids with emotional problems) in reports she gets, especially from teachers. Like a report might say the kid "called the teacher an f-ing b." Okay, so did the kid actually say "f-ing b" or did the kid call the teacher a "fucking bitch"? Because that's an important distinction.
