  1. Nothing can be a substitute for Jerk It Out.
  2. One thing to look at is bus speeds and RAM standards, make sure they match. I mean, it will work if they're not the same, but if the mobo isn't up to the standards of the components then you won't get as much out of them as you could.
  3. Now I've got a key for the Ghost Recon Future Soldier closed beta if anyone wants it.

Update: I actually have 4 of them.

      360 codes, possibly US-only.

  4. And now I have a key for the Ghost Recon Future Soldier closed beta if anyone wants it.
  5. Does anyone know if it's possible to get the Witcher 2 CD Key if you have the Steam version? There's no option to view key when I right-click on it (@FDS I didn't buy it on steam, it was gifted to me). I'd like to get the backup copy.
  6. I liked Awakening a lot.
  7. I guess I just care about the industry more. Forgive me for not basing all my decisions solely on what's best for the developer, and selfishly taking my own resources and such into account. Hey! You know what would be REALLY good for CDP? If you just sent them a check for $5,000. I bet they'd really appreciate it, and you'd be supporting the developer EVEN MORE!
  8. And if it were only about supporting the dev, then yes, buying it from GoG would definitely be the way to go. There are, however, other considerations, such as how much money I want/am able to spend on the product. It's not like buying some bootleg copy off a guy on the street and saying "I bought it so I'm good". If CDP didn't want people buying their games through other channels than GoG they could choose not to sell them elsewhere, and the fact that they didn't shows that they must be okay with people buying it on other services. Sure, it's better for them if people buy it on GoG, but what's best for them is not the only consideration here.
  9. So would anyone who's ever written a Hero's Journey.
  10. Yes, and everyone who doesn't buy it directly from GoG doesn't care at all about supporting the developer and might as well pirate it, because CDP saw absolutely no profit from that purchase.
  11. At the same price, sure I'd buy it straight from GoG instead of Steam, but I wouldn't go out of my way to pay extra for it on there.. Even though I'm sure they get less from a Steam purchase than a GoG purchase (obviously, as they get all the money from a GoG purchase) it's not like they don't get anything.
  12. Steam has ridiculous sales. Also Steam DRM doesn't bother me, so it's not incentive to purchase it elsewhere. Though actually I didn't buy it on Steam, I had it gifted. But those are reasons I might have bought it on Steam anyway.
  13. In my experience while saves are tied to a GFWL account you can still play with that account offline and it works fine. Specifically the two games I know I've done that with are Batman: AC and Bulletstorm.
  14. What GFWL games require you to be online to save?
  15. As if I can be expected to check previous pages. This is the internet! Simply ask questions and other people will do the work of finding the answers for you!
  16. Got another one because Archery and Gladiator Duel, the two activities in Sports Champions I was most interested in, are lame with only one Move controller.
  17. How do you get the GoG backup version?
  18. June sounds like a good time to me.
  19. I don't know how to run a virtual machine...
  20. No, I don't have a computer to put it on. Can you elaborate on it basically being the start menu though? Cause everything I've seen makes it look like it's a different full-screen UI, which is not at all how the start menu is.
  21. Presumably the user could set any version to not boot to Metro by default, right? Right?
  22. Yeah, now I'm torn between wanting to support devs/pubs porting to PC and NOT wanting to support devs'/pubs' half-assed ports to PC
  23. Windows 8 ReTweet. Built entirely around Twitter integration.
  24. http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2012/04/17/dark-souls-pc-prepare-to-sigh/ Looks like it's a straight-port, and there won't be any of the bells and whistles PC games normally have (graphics options, etc).
