Hopefully you'll be able to build water treatment plants to alleviate at least some of the pollution effect.

Well they did say if they had it to do over again they would have the physical rewards on higher donation tiers to help with that problem. As far as cost it depends on where you are. My office will set up an LLC for somebody for $750, but I'm sure if you go to Kansas City it will cost quite a bit more.

Yeah I remember that first demo and thinking it looked cool.
-
Spellcasting could be cool but some of that gameplay looked like a TPS, which is disappointing if true.

Pretty sure I hate my Congressman too. But yeah, overall that's how it goes. *Edit* - Holy crap Hottie, that had some real actors in it that I actually recognized. Several of them.

Well yeah, everyone knew it was coming eventually. Honestly to me the more surprising part is the fact that Miyamoto let it slip before the official announcement, usually Nintendo has that shit locked down.

http://www.joystiq.com/2012/04/16/nintendo-showing-wii-u-mario-game-at-e3/ Apparently Miyamoto let slip the existence of a new Mario game for Wii U that they're going to be showing at E3. I'm intrigued. The funny thing is, even though Nintendo consoles are just Mario and Zelda boxes to me (I wish I could throw Pokemon in there ) I want them to convince me to buy it.

Added spoiler tags to people's posts because even though you weren't directly talking about the game you could still infer from them that You'd have to be a lot more observant than me to notice that. This is the first I've heard of it.

But incredibly time-consuming.

That seems to me more like one CS rep taking a retarded interpretation of their policy, rather than an actual company policy to ban spam targets. Could be wrong though.

A deck of Legend of Zelda playing cards, from Fangamer.

Wait, what?

Stuff was pretty bad all around us, but in my actual town/county it just rained and was really windy.

Yeah if you said "half four" in the US no one would have any idea wtf you were talking about. Old people will still say "half past four", but everyone else just says "four-thirty". Same goes for "quarter til", "quarter after", "ten til", etc, it's just an old person thing, everyone else just says the time as a number.

We're supposed to have like the freaking storm of the century here tonight. It's to the point that local residents are freaking out, when the normal reaction to tornado weather is "let's go sit on the front porch and watch."

I don't like selling games, I'll only do it if I don't like the game. Also my console backlog is only 2 games atm, and one is a DD game (free Infamous after Sony's PSN hack last year). The rest are all PC, most are Steam purchases.

lol, ordinarily I would have been jumping on news of a new Zelda game, but I don't own a 3DS and don't expect that to change any time soon.

But why does cost of development have anything at all to do with it? Sure cost of development sets a minimum price below which it's impossible to make a profit, but aside from that why does any factor other than how much you're going to get out of it matter to you at all? Also, there is a HUGE difference between "a 2D, sprite-based game" and "a game with SNES graphics." This game is 2D and sprite-based: Does that look like SNES to you?
-
I'm never going to get through my backlog.

I totally agree that there should be more price points in games besides the $15-20 range and then a jump to $60 (I know there are a few games that release between those prices, but they're few and far between; also talking about home consoles here, I know mobile games are cheaper, but the principle is the same). That said, whether a game uses 2D or 3D graphics should not be the determining factor. How a game looks could certainly be a factor in how much it's worth to you, but making it the be all and end all is just silly.

Maybe this is an English v. English thing, but at least in common usage over here "censor" doesn't mean "totally ban", it just means ban or edit in a given context. Movies will be censored when they air on TV, but you can still get the unedited version on DVD.

Oh yeah, I meant games published by Nintendo. Their third party games are just like any other system.
