As for the first question As for the second question, yeah that bugs the shit out of me too.
-
I quite enjoyed it. People were right, it was just the first level that was so easy that made it seem like you weren't playing a game. Overall I actually think I enjoyed the 2D levels more than any other previous Sonic game I've played.
-
Why do you care? I mean, if you don't want a new ending then don't download the new ending DLC when it comes out. It doesn't affect your experience at all. *Edit* - Also, I think it's funny to call people troglodytes for saying a shitty, cobbled-together-at-the-last-minute ending is shitty, and ask for something better. Someone on twitter pointed out that directors change the endings to their movies all the time, it's why they have test audiences.
-
I hope the don't retcon away the apparent consequences of the endings that are there right now, I just want some kind of epilogue or something to let me know wtf happened after. Also I want to fucking know
-
Oh yeah, unlike a lot of people, I'm perfectly okay with *Edit* - An after-the-end DLC where you
-
Yeah, I've been saying from the beginning that a slideshow like that is all I want.
-
Oh I agree with you that the DS3 d-pad isn't the best pad ever. I like the 360's disc design better than the 4 separate buttons, it's just the detection on that thing is so crappy... Anyway, my ideal d-pad would be a disc pad like the 360's with press-detection precision like the DS3's.
-
I agree with this. I don't want anything changed (again, except for I'd be okay with them changing that one wtf plot hole I mentioned in spoilers above), I just want it expanded upon.
-
Oh please, there was no artistic integrity in the ending of this game to start with. The behind-the-scenes app shows that the ending was cobbled together at the last minute. Ordinarily though I'd be inclined to agree with you.
-
You're right, there was always some in the works, that's why I also quoted the part where they said "this is in addition to our existing plan..."
-
Yeah I was able to play them just fine with the 360's d-pad, I'd imagine that in comparison it would be heaven to play on PS3.

http://blog.bioware.com/2012/03/21/4108/ w00t! Unlike some, I don't actually want them to change the events of the ending (except perhaps ), but I do want them to expand on the events to give us more understanding of what ultimately happens.

Well that's why they didn't drink water, but distilled spirits are also safer to drink.
-
Casino Nights was always my favorite level on the older Sonic games.

I think this is a case of "damned if you do, damned if you don't." If the DLC character is integrated well into the rest of the game like Javik then people will say "this is central to the game, it should have been included!" Whereas if the DLC is just tacked on and not integrated well like Kasumi and Zaeed of ME2 people will say "this is shoddy work, you should have put more effort into integrating it!"

Oh yeah, I want to see what I got in my packs... *Edit* - The most exciting thing I got was the Viper II. I got the N7 Hurricane, but I don't use SMGs on any of my characters.
-
Probably. I know I've talked about it with people in person before.
-
It's not pointless, they are two very different styles of game, a distinction needs to be made. But like I said the names are stupid. Anyway, "action RPG" it is for this one then. That answers my question.
-
But you said "having to enjoy" in reference to things that don't require effort to get into (CoD, etc). Anyway, I've tried plenty of different beers, and while they all taste different there's an underlying "beer" flavor that is there in all of them (often it's more of an aftertaste though), and that flavor is repulsive. Coffee is the same way (though it's obviously not the same as the beer flavor). I dunno, maybe I'm a supertaster. People will tell me "try this, you can't even taste the beer/coffee" but to me that flavor is overpowering.
-
Yeah, all of that is why I don't think it's a big deal like the article makes it out to be.
-
I want to clarify my position: I think it's bs to incorporate by reference standards that are not freely available. That said, I think the article makes it sound like it's a WAY bigger deal than it actually is. *Edit* - It also seems like it wouldn't be permissible because it's delegating too much legislative authority to a non-governmental body. Hell, the Kansas Supreme Court struck down a Kansas law that basically said "the Kansas minimum wage is whatever the federal minimum wage is" because it impermissibly delegated the KS legislature's authority to the federal government. It seems like if that won't fly then delegating the rules to a private organization would definitely be unacceptable.
-
Apply this same logic to movies, videogames, and books, and see what sort of low quality shit you end up having to enjoy. Nothing but Call of Duty, Twilight, and uh... Twilight. "Having to enjoy" implies it's a chore to enjoy it, which is kind of the opposite of enjoying it... Anyway, I don't think that's a good comparison regardless. Learning to like the flavor of beer isn't going to expand me as a person the same way that a challenging piece of media can.
-
Well they really are two entirely different genres. I agree they could do with better names though.
-
Well that's kind of exciting. So, I've got a question about this game: I've seen people refer to it as a JRPG, but from what I've seen of the game it seems more like a WRPG that happens to have been developed by a Japanese developer. What's the best way to describe it?
-
Well they're part of the laws in that the law says "materials used to make bicycle helmets must meet SAE standard blah blah blah" and then the SAE charges a fee for the book. AFAIK municipal building codes are freely available, though I've never actually tried to look.
