I believe it to be true that the devs at The Pokemon Company/Nintendo screw around in HD, ultra crisp Pokemon on their free time. Everyone else got to wallow in emulators to get as close as perfect visuals and performance as possible.

Don't forget about Joe Biden, Obama's other half (in the White House). I am too young to know how well Clinton and Gore got along but I do remember Bush and Cheney. Biden and Obama's relationship kind of changed how I view the VP. Now with Trump and Pence, it's more of a Bush and Cheney kind of thing. But worse.

She got the bright idea of spraying water on carpet to keep the dust down. It does but now the dust get caked on inside the tube and everything in addition to any moisture getting to the motor. With the last upright vacuum, I made it a point to clean and take it apart in front of her (funny how things never come back together as they use to...). I don't think she did it again but with how the current Dyson vacuum is handling, I'm not too sure. It might be a battery issue though. We do have a wet/dry shop vacuum but it's far from ideal to dealing with household cleaning.

I moved back home and while the place is small but it means that it is literally more efficient for me to use a dustpan with a stiff brush than to use the handheld Dyson vacuum that cuts out every ten seconds then you have to fiddle with the trigger to get it going again. Fuck that. My roommates' has this vacuum that I quite liked. It can handle a cat so it can handle people just fine. I just have to tell my grandma to NOT USE WATER to keep the dust down. That kills vacuums. One thing that I like about this is that you can just have the canister and motor so it'll be like a canister vacuum instead of a upright so it's good for tight spaces like my parents' place. Now I'm wondering if I can oil the motor when that times comes but for $140, whatever if it lasts a few years...

There's also this: I highly recommend the Umbara arc. It's a good idea to build up a relationship with the Clonestroopers first but it should be able to stand on its own. And now that I look at it, add in Cad Bane to the Han Solo movie along with Hondo Ohnaka. Season 2 finale of Rebels addressed this sore point quite nicely. It was a nice send off for the idea.

I'm surprised that you guys are, years later, putting even this minuscule amount of effort into this thread. Guess he really lived up to his name.

Oh hey, Splatoon 2! As for the motion games, I'm approaching it like I did with the Wii. And what the hell, GTA Mario? Really looking at it, the Switch will really struggle until it's lineup is more robust. But that lag time might kill it. Hard to say. I want one though...

Reading up on what went down (I'm running off mobile internet only)... $300, only major launch game is Zelda with the rest later this year and it really was a showcase for all the different colors you can have. Also it seems that some games like Xenoblade Chronicles 2 was choppy. I feel that it's best to wait and hold for the holidays at least. And oh yeah. Paid online. HAHAHAHAHAHABAHAHAHABAHAHAHBAHA Nintendo needs to get their online/network experience in order before I give them money for online.

The Wind Rises I'm actually unsure how I feel about this one. It's good but there's some oddities I need to think about. 1) How some of the characters talk at times is a bit weird. I think it's due to having multiple languages at times. 2) Sometimes the entire background like with grass fields will move. There's a lot of detail and a lot of moving assets. In ways I feel like it is distracting yet beautiful. Edit: okay, all this detail makes the world come alive. Also the weird sound work I pin it to getting an emotional response from the audience. Anyhow... deleted some spoilers. But, I'll say this. This is an odd, good and surprisingly sad moving. Hopeful as well but god damn. Such a cute couple. Lastly, an amazing earthquake scene.

I spend a lot of time at Chans and Reddit and I got to say, the concept of "Meme Magic" absolutely confuse me. Like sure, I believe in the forgotten flyover country and their struggles and they propelled Trump to the White House but I do not understand Meme Magic. Trump will explode in a meltdown someday. You only have to look at the press conference today This shit is not for the lulz or however you spell it, I'm too drunk for that. Anonymous Fucks, you dense motherfuckers. Meme Magic isn't real like your waifus. God damn it. I give Trump six months before he resign or get impeachmented. Guy should just release his tax returns to prove he doesn't have fiancial connections to Russia to bias him monetarily. Blackmail? Good fucking luck. Seems like Russia got shit on the Right so they all obeying their Master (i.e, The Kremlin). Like fucking seriously, I don't care if you like Golden Showers but god damn it your got to have your own self interest but as President you have your country. I give you six months you son of a fucking whore. Fuck you. At least I can't question the concedence of Pence. Trump is a fucking child and ultimately quality as mental retarded. Obamacare has it's prob2lem but preconditions isn't a death sentence and people between 18 and 26 years of age have a safety net if a job with health insurance is hard to come by. I'm 27 and will be 28 by the middle of June so those conditions doesn't apply to me (it was) but I am glad it was an option as a graduate student. I wouldn't have a clue of the shit that affect me if it wasn't for the ACA (Affordable Care Act, it's the same as Obamacare you dense motherfuckers). God damn it, Trump is President the following Friday and he can't have a civil conference (since July) a week away from his inaugration (sp? I'm seriously drunk, sPell check is saVing me). Fuck it, I'm Chinese-American, send me to an interment camp. Obviously I'm not American. Fuck being born in the USA. GET IT OVER WITH. I'm excellent in camping in a coffin like tent. I'm fine with shutting in a ditch that I dug myself, I'm a field trained geologist. Fuck you, you daddy's boy. You absolute disgrace. Go jack off to Golden Showers. I honestly don't care (who knows what the Obamas, Clintons and Bidens are in? I do not care.) Sleep time, I'm out.

A bit awkwardly presented and long (1h:25m) but this is an amazing talk at 27 minutes in. Mark Farrari, 8-bit art God, talks about 8-bit and 8-bitish art. Remember this or this? He's the guy behind them and the 80's LucasArts games (e.g., Monkey Island). Just how he does things back then, how he does it now and things going forward.

4K, 144hz, HDR with G-SYNC monitors. I think they displayed the TN and IPS models there or it can be the Freesync version. As far as any PC gamers are concerned, this is like the end of the theoretical line for like the next half decade at least. The thing is though, like with the above 8K monitor, you'll need the latest card with either Display Port 1.3 or 1.4 (The 8K needs TWO) to pull it off. Me with a measly 980ti can't run this monitor (maybe?). Hell, a lot of cards would have trouble pulling solid 30fps with quality graphic settings let along highest. 60 fps is a tough goal for the highest end cards as well. Seriously though. This monitor ticks off so many of the right boxes. The thing is though... it must cost like $1500-$2000 but god damn would it be absolutely future proof. I'm running my run of the mill 1080p 60hz monitor for like 6-8 years already. I could see myself using this one as long. GPU evolution has some ways to go before we hit regular 4K@144fps so maybe I'll be totally irresponsible...

Can you even tell the difference between what an animal would do and janky, at time unresponsive AI?

Some history about the making of Final Fantasy VII. I haven't gone through it all but it seems well done. Kind of timely since this year is FFVII's 20th anniversary. I would be surprised if we didn't hear anything about the Remake (remember that?) this year. I actually don't recall hearing much if at all last year. Maybe the multi-part release of the game?

$20 is a steal. It's a pretty great way to have the power of your desktop in your living room if you can swing a wired connection and maybe a powerline connection. It does have input lag but generally not enough to be a deal breaker. I just wouldn't play any online multiplayer or twitch shooter (DOOM was pretty bad when paired up with a controller) and the like. Add in a wireless KB+M or KB with built-in touch pad and you're good to go for a lot of things. I just wish for some native apps (e.g., Netflix). Maybe they'll come, maybe they won't. No big deal at this point. I also wouldn't mind a CAT6A version down the road.

Holy fucking shit. This is the closest we're ever going to get to Panty & Stocking season 2. And it ties into Luluco with the appearance of Nova. If Hiroyuki Imaishi and Atsushi Nishigori (formerly of GAINAX, creators of P&S and now with TRIGGER) don't compile this, somehow, later I'll die.

First I'm hearing about the Vive Tracker and new strap. The new head strap addresses the poor original Vive head strap which is awesome. The Vive Tracker is interesting. Aside from additional props, I can foresee it being used to map out your room and with some procedural generation can make a bunker of sorts for say a shooting game. Enthusiasts/businesses (e.g., arcades, damn it Japan) can even make their own stage. To me it would address having furniture in your room. The only limiting factor off the top of my head right now is number of tracked objects which stands at 16 but it should be expandable with more compute power and/or hardware. Edit: Also there's the TPCast Wireless Vive... you can see it in action above.

The crust is easily the best part for me. Sure, like all good things, there are the bad crusts.

8K monitor geared for the professional content creator where a large screen with HUGE resolution and superb color representation is key. Besides, no consumer grade GPU can run it yet. You need the most recent Quadro cards to run. With that in mind, at $5k it isn't priced that bad. Those Quadro cards cost at least half as much or at least that much. Add in potential workstation CPU, mobo and RAM... UGH. And yes, that is a black line down the screen. Watch till the end and you'll learn a potential way to fix it and dead pixels. On another note. I recently mentioned being interested in BOINC recently. This guy and his setup is the reason why: Absolute insane home network, workstations and office setup. Absolute beautifully done as well. Professional setups like this isn't common so to see it on a home network is amazing.

A great mix of Daft Punk, Justice and Homemade Kazoku (Eureka Eleven OP).
