I think stuff like that depends on the launcher. Though I'm pretty sure even with TouchWiz and Nova Search (now Now) has always been a long press of the menu button.

Also started my housemate on Star Wars last week, only done New Hope so far. Using the Machete Order, which as we've only done New Hope so far can't say if it is a better way to watch in practice or not. Star Wars is one of those films that kinda proves that knowing spoilers isn't a terrible idea, for one she wouldn't have giggled at Luke calling Liea pretty otherwise. (Also "aww, there's no sofa in the garbage"). We ended up watching the three Robot Chicken Star Wars specials after too.

So this is a thing.

There's many people bitching about -isms. Just not every needless thing that might come along that'll spur page hits. If you start taking offense with every minor thing that's 99% not offensive it just dilutes the cause. It's the boy who cried wolf. One day she'll end up with some story on Kotick having deep seated hatred of gay people and no one will care because "oh it's just Patricia and Kotaku pushing for hits again". It's even worse when you realise it's Patricia putting her own prejudices in there, she's only seeing it as homophobic because she took the reference of the other soldier being gay to be a bad thing. See I've a Wildfire for previous phone and it's got pretty great battery life, even more so now it's not really acting as a phone. And then I've my Note, which is cheating both in the massive draining screen, but the equally large battery on the back (even bigger in the Note 2)

I think more games should have the tutorials/mini-game(as in small game, not like..pipe hacking minigame minigame) from the first level like Half Life. Which means you can easily relearn stuff if you leave a save a bit too long, and also means you can benchmark to a degree without fucking up the main game opening.

@TFG: If you're using micro-SD cards for local stuff then it means you're not streaming over Google Music, or storing your files in Google Drive, etc. A mate was showing off his recently purchases Nexus4, and sure it's pretty and swapping ROMs is a piece of piss but I'd want the extra space External can afford you. (though housemate has a OneX with about 28GB of space which is pretty damn big). As for myself phone upgraded to Jellybean the other day. I've noted the new external file structure, managed to mess up QuickPic a bit, not fished through all my apps but likely PerfectViewer will need it's home folder changing too. Jelly Bean has pretty much fixed most of the issues I had with my Note. I'm quite happy so far, only complaint is the notification bar is now a dark shade of grey instead of the old black (the full notification shade is pure black). Nexus4 friend was also sharing a few Nova launcher tips with me too so getting a bit extra use from that (mainly the swipe actions, I tend not to bother with gesture based stuff, but this is simple enough to implement and also means I can combine Phone and Contacts app/button into one. Still figuring other uses. Multi-Window is a nice addition (yeah Touchwiz only, not strictly JB feature), though apart from the initial gimmick I've not made much use of it. Maybe something good to watch a longer Youtube video, say TotalBiscuit, while still browsing the web, facebook.

Yeah I'd noted when Vita came out it sucked that some sections of the game can be disabled from being shared. I can see sort of why they might not want it, spoiling sections and such. But just include a spoiler option like what Steam has to black out bits. If you're the game that stops you from sharing then it's the game that has no such restrictions that gets shared more.
