My impression is: He's the 9th regeneration of "John Smith", whereas Eccleston is the 10th regeneration. However Eccleston was the 9th time John Smith called himself Doctor . The show just used "The Doctor" to name John Hurt as we have no other name for The Doctor to go off, and giving the true name would ruin surprise of 50th if he's the Valeyard or something. Also as far as Time War goes I think he killed a lot more than time lords and daleks.

I logged into Spotify for first time in a few years today. So listening to so much, it's like a time capsule into my mind.

Yeah the start kinda sucks, but it does get character development and plots and arcs towards the end. The Archer-Lana-Cyril triangle gets mostly dropped about halfway in the first series. A fair chunk of it is still based on the weirdness and dialogue though. I'd say a major issue I have is how much of the first series characters are dropped (apart from Barry...hehehe). Well I guess Conway makes a cameo later. And how a lot of the bomb threat plots are pretty much the same.

Yeah reactions from all is kind of surprising. I don't think British quite know how to deal with terror attacks properly. At this stage Instagramming it is about par for the course I guess. I can't watch any of the news channels at this stage too (watching hasn't helped).Until the suspects are out of hospital and on trial nothing much new is going to happen. But all of them will cover it near non-stop anyway and strip away every minute detail.

PS3 was going to have two HDMI outs, but still had analog in that, and as does PS4. And it'll likely be the same exact port PS1, PS2, n PS3 has too, which is kinda nice .Just here's hoping this time around the cable in box by default is HDMI, though at this point I think most folks with HDTVs have a few hanging around. "Why can't I hold all these HDMI and Micro-USB cables". My mum has exactly zero HDTVs in her house except for the occasions on Xmas break I'd take mine with me. But she's not exactly the audience for any of the 8th gen consoles so not a huge biggy. No SD outputs means it keeps costs down, and I don't think it'll be as big an issue in the forward thinking since I'd say in 5 years HDTVs will likely be much more common. Unlike regular TV watching. What is that all about? Might as well put a floppy disc drive in too. I watched the reveal with my housemate, so that was my highlight of it all, "Isn't this just a Sky box?". Oh also after stream stuttered a bit "Eurgh, now we've got to watch this advert". Then it turns out it wasn't a regular advert but Remedys new game Then we watched PS3 reveal cos she hadn't watched it. "Please be excited for E3!" is now her favourite phrase.
