"You can't not be giddy when your sword starts to fill up half the screen." can you upgrade it so it stays a decent size when you're not on full health? because that is the only thing that would make me pick that game up again. I think that was one of my biggest ever gaming disappointments, I think I lost the will to live in the third dungeon after wandering around it aimlessly without any clue where to go.

I'm having a go at nano assault neo at the moment. I'm awful at this sort of game but I'm enjoying retrying the levels ad infinitum which must be a good sign. I'm enjoying it more than everyday shooter which is the last one of these I played.

I'm sure there's a tasteless joke about Vicky B and people on bank notes normally being dead, but I'm just too classy.

It would be nice to put a woman back on one of the others if they're coming up for renewal soon. Other than that I would prefer not to have politicians on our notes and I don't particularly like the idea of someone associated with was on their either, especially not such a recent one.

The Spring Update is finally out - 703mb. It also updates the gamepad which I didn't know was a posibility though I don't know what it actually did to that.

they said they're making a small loss on the basic unit so it's not like they're gouging people like they did on the 3DS. I would say an official price cut won't happen this year, just more bundles, maybe a new colour. Also, definitely not a new zelda game this year as last I read (at the end of last year) they are still just in the ideas stage so I'd say a couple of years away at least. I haven't read anything about a 3D Mario game but hopefully we'll get a nice surprise at their e3 conference. You never know with Nintendo.

Buy three of the games and get a download code for a fourth of them for free. Will be getting Luigi's Mansion and Fire Emblem, not sure on the third, probably Donkey Kong as I never got round to buying it on the Wii. I wanted AC as a download but I know it's going to be £40 when they're £30 at retail which was going to hurt, so I'm super stoked to be getting it for free! link

I bought two games in the Nintendo ideame sale: Nano Assault Neo and Trine 2: Director's Cut I was going to get The Cave but was put in by status update, though TME reminded me I could get it on my free 1 month trial of PSN Plus so I will still try that.

Right is from the original LttP, and the left is culled from the new trailer: As you can see it's very similar, though not identical and it's definitely from a higher view which just doesn't seem quite right to me, almost like you're more detatched from it somehow, it makes me feel slightly uncomfortable, almost like you're spying on the scene. I can't really describe properly how I feel :/

the 3D video is up it's only a minute long and looked mostly like the footage from the Nintendo Direct.

the new Zelda looks ace doesn't it? - kind of surprised you can barely see his face even when he is walking toward the camera, other than that the art style looked really nice. I can't remember if they said it was a download or retail only title though? also, there;s no such thing as a zelda game without a gimmick. That's basically the formula for the series - the basic game is always the same and a new gimmick on to to differentiate them.

I was listening to the new Kate Nash album (what?!) and this is on it... and I really felt like I'd heard the song before. I've listened to the track several times over the last week or so and I think I've got it. Tell me I'm not mad and it sounds a lot like Eau d'Bedroom Dancing, by Le Tigre so I can stop it gnawing at my mind. -
