  1. A fan sent this in to Nintendo UK when wind waker came out in 2003. They've still got it 10 years later and just posted the photo on FB to inspire people to send photos of their Zelda crafts. It gives me warm fuzzies to think they kept it all this time (or at all, tbh).
  2. ni no kuni is £18 on PSN with plus and £20 without so it's about £15 cheaper than on disc. pretty cool for a recent release.
  3. Just bought sound shapes since it's on offer.
  4. I'm playing gravity rush at the moment. I'm enjoying it but I think it will take me a while to get a hang of the gravity shifting - I've ended up getting a bit confused as to where I'm headed sometimes.
  5. I beat Thomas was Alone and played through it a second time with the commentary on (which I love on DVDs and think is a great idea for games that I've not seen before) I enjoyed the game quite a lot though I'm guessing a lot of people will have thought it was a bit easy as I thought it was perfectly pitched. I do feel slightly stupid in that I found the story quite perplexing.
  6. What's the issue google (and others) have with putting microSD card slots in their devices? Surely the more space people have the more likely they are to buy stuff to fill it.
  7. I can't afford a new TV every time I turn my computer on!
  8. that's mental. I like the idea of immersion but that's actually put me off a bit. i don't want gaming to be a traumatic experience.
  9. Maybe god's saying don't masturbate, and jesus just spunked out the universe.
  10. It's called when the film comes out on DVD. Babies should be banned from cinemas and restaurants. Little bastards.
  11. I love it in AC games when you're slowed down to a crawl and then get snagged in some scenery while the person you're talking to carries on muttering off into the distance...
  12. god, I hated those offers I can never make up a full list as I either already own a couple or just don't want a game I'm not keen on to make up the numbers. Anyway, the reason I came in here is to tell any fire emblem: awakening owners that Champions of Your #1 DLC is free until 22 May.
  13. it's only about half the price of normal retail games over here in the UK. so it shouldn't be $60, or even $40 if you're lucky.
  14. I don't consider that an accident - they left a shell in it and left the two children unattended with it - shouldn't the parent's be charged for negligence?
  15. I don't think there's been much advertising at all for the wii u compared to the wii and (3)DS. They used to advertise in practically every primetime ad break. People need to know about it to buy it.
  16. what program was it you were using?

Considering acting is supposed to be famously full of woofters, you can count the number of out tv actors in major rolls on your fingers, and I can't think of any with above title billing for films.

First male athlete to come out while still active in a major US team sport though it says he's not currently attached to a team so I don't know how active he is. Can't say I know enough about basketball to know if that's a bad/common thing or not though. Still, it's a major step and I hope it goes well for him so it will reassure enough other people to do it that it doesn't even have to be a thing any more. Mind you, I say that but there aren't really any jobs in which public profile is a major aspect where it isn't still a major consideration at best and more likely a hinderance.
  19. Yay, feeling slightly less stupid for asking now.
  20. How does it affect a company if its stock goes down, apart from making it a target for another company to buy?
  21. if i buy a coffee machine from amsterdam on ebay.co.uk will i pay any extra taxes/duties when it's shipped here to the UK?

Provided it's a sale to you as a consumer then you should not have to pay VAT on the sale and provided they are based in the EU you should not have to pay any excise duty on the item (provided it is below the £70,000 threshold. (If it's over that... DAMN!)

Customs might still open it to check for contraband but I don't think you should be charged.

Just imagine what a £70,000 coffee machine could do...

  22. do you ride as transport or purely as exercise? That's quite a distance either way.
