There were some good announcements in the Nintendo Direct, it's just that none of the games look like they'll be making an appearance this year. Even then Windwaker remake isn't until Autumn. Some people are getting excited that it will add in the extra area/dungeon that was cut out of the original but I don't think that is very likely. Surely it was cut out as it wasn't fully developed, and I don't think they'd spend time doing that now. Maybe the refinements are to trim the collectathons they added to the end of the game to replace the chunk they took out. I don't think that either though - it's probably just changes like adding the menu to the gamepad, which is technically a refinement.
The other stuff looks good, but it's hard to get excited about things that are so far away. and I'm kind of annoyed that they are recharging for wii games on the wii u, when they should be just adding them in to the wii u menu. Being able to play them on the gamepad is not a feature they should be charging again for it should be part of the standard emulation. It kind of takes the mickey a bit
I think someone mentioned about this before: I'm downloading the Cave and Sega racing downloads and turned on the turn off after downloading option, and that option installs the games automatically, so it's weird that normal downloading doesn't.
