  1. I know just what you mean. My mom's been sad and grey. My dad can't satisft her in the bed ever since he passed away.

      I'm thinkin' I'm thinking too.

Slow up! What time is it dawg?

  2. PROBABLY. She's a journalist. My Shepard is a dog, and punches journalists in the face. Unless Miranda is completely absent and Ashley has something wrong with her character, I'll ignore Chobot. I've never had a raging hard-on for her since I was never a big IGN or G4 fan.
  3. It's a good thing American Nightmare is adding a BUNCH of different enemy types, different guns and melee weapons. They've pretty much redone the actual gameplay.
  4. I really don't give a flying fuck about Chobot's character, and I'll probably end up ignoring her. At least in the image still they showed us, she's the least attractive of the humans.
  5. She goes on about how perfect she is, because she was literally genetically designed to be perfect. Later on in the game when you romance her she doesn't talk like at fucking all about how perfect she is until the storming the base mission when she mentions she has been trained to lead others. Both her character and Ashley's evolve throughout the game. The difference is that [as of right now] only Ashley had to COMPLETELY redesign herself to even compete against Miranda. I never romanced Tali because I need to know what's behind that mask.
  6. The lending library is only a part of the Prime benefits. But yeah, Prime is mainly useful for me right now with the student 50% discount.
  7. The entire trilogy is in the Kindle Owner Lending Library for free [if you own a Kindle device]. The lending library only works for the actual kindle device. Not an app on a laptop or phone. That's the only thing imho worthwhile in the lending library. The rest are best sellers books, but I'm only ever interested in reading sci-fi and fantasy and I don't think there's much there.
  8. Exactly like PS+ but something that benefits the developer/publisher. If it can somehow be used to lower prices on games, which is the biggest deal with piracy, then it's a win. Well either that or a Steam-like service for every console. Steam has been working due to all the deals and cheap sales they have. No idea how much of that goes to the developers themselves, but you have no option BUT to buy the game 'new'
  9. Plus when you're an Amazon Prime member, you feel like this super elite customer. Like you're in a cool club, like Sam's Club. Bitch you gotta wait 4-5 days for your shipment to arrive? BITCH PLEASE, I WAIT 1-2 DAYS FOR FREE OR GET NEXT DAY SHIPPING FO' LIKE 3 EXTRA DOLLARS. I MAKE IT RAIN SHIPMENTS UP IN HEA' Not to mention all the free books I get for my kindle. I'm gonna read the entire Hunger Games trilogy for freezies. If video game publishers had some yearly membership say... 30 or 40? That gave you cheap shit, free DLC and free goodies ala Amazon Prime I'd be so down.
  10. With Mass Effect 3 they've been pushing the advertisement of femshep. We had the contest to find her new look, the first time she's part of a gamebox, and now all these advertisements and articles on her and her voice actor. I honestly can't give a fuck about her. I'm sorry to those that actually use a femshep, I see that you like it, but we're supposed to cater to the grand majority not the minimum. I can't remember the chart that showed how many people play with broshep vs femshep, but the difference was decently big that we should've gotten some broshep voice actor time.

Haha. I love those dramatic readings of things.

  12. The internet has spoiled me with free shit and Amazon.
  13. I hope they eventually show Yvonne and the rest of the cast showing their side. I mean we're about a month away from the release of the game and we have almost no info on it. You gotta give it to Bioware, they haven't told us shit about the game. Like at all. The Plot Leak has been pretty much subdued at this point.
  14. You know Thursday I'd be more than fine with that idea. And no Malicious. It occured in the late 90's but if you read online there is no sure sign that they meant a specific incident. They just said "the raccoon city incident" which could mean a couple of things.
  15. Some people have speculated that they're too ambiguous about "raccoon city incident" and that it may well take place in late 2009 [after resi 5]. Capcom hasn't announced anything but I am really hoping it takes place after resident evil 5. Even if it's only a few months after. I hate Capcom's tendency for prequels and interquels.
  16. Does anybody have an idea of when this game is supposed to take place? Speculations say it is anywhere from before Resident Evil 5 to a couple of months after. I think it'd be a dick move to make it before Resi 5 considering they have all these plot points in this one that seems to add to the Resi plot (like 'Cole' having the supposed cure for the virus in his blood) and also we're already getting another game that takes place before 5. I mean yeah sure Wesker is a big boss, but it doesn't mean we can't have a game post-Wesker.
  17. I don't even think I'll be able to recognize every location and name on that map after reading the book without a quick wiki check
  18. Exactly. If I did it like I do with TV shows, I'd be done with all of the books within a semester and then have to wait with the rest of the fans for GRRM's slow writing, I have loads of other series I can read.
  19. I didn't read the editor's name, and considering gamer guys are a bigger demographic I made a [wrong] assumption.
  20. Not sure if that's a reference, but I'm gonna read the third book this summer, and I know I need to read the fourth and fifth alongside so....
  21. I've finished the second book and honestly, I don't think I'm gonna read the third till this summer at the earliest.I have WAY too many games to play, and the shows seasons are about a year apart so I can easily read the books alongside the series until the next book is released.
  22. Piracy must be fought with incentives. The Witcher II might be a good example, but then the developer does shit like get people in trouble for torrenting [even when they haven't torrented their game] and expect them to pay a crapload of money [if I remember correctly] which only pisses off the pirating community. Publishers and developers need to realize as a whole that a large portion of pirates believe they are entitled to get this shit for free when you fight them for it. Look at how well the DRM thing went for companies like Ubisoft, compared to shit like Minecraft. Taking away content also pisses off customers. GIVE away content that adds to the game, not takes away from it. With such a large battle against piracy, they still have not done a major experiment to find a way to coexist with piracy. You can't remove piracy without removing rights given to people by the constitution and becoming North Korea, China, or Iran. You must learn to coexist with it. Crack down on the few people torrenting and all you're doing is using a scapegoat and maybe scaring away some people for a couple of months at most. Give me free shit. Or at least allow me to fucking rent games without taking away singleplayer content. Multiplayer I can do without.
