exactly. Once you play the section the characters understand what the song is saying, then you can listen to it as much as the rest of the Alan Wake fans. Which is a lot.

Yeah the game is not scary as much as it is a thriller. And a good thriller at that, the atmosphere is Stephen King mixed with that 80's by Lynch [whats its face] The soundtrack, like Duke said, is superb. And gives spoilers. Especially the Old Gods of Asgard tracks

I'm guessing those members listed above are the "long-time" party members. The rest of the party members will appear, as Bioware said, in one-off missions and other stuff but won't be full-time crew members like before. Apparently I'll be forced to use Tali and Garrus since I need a sniper and an engineer in my team. Wish we had a krogan but w/e. I feel kind of iffy that they're forcing down my throat the conflict with kaidan/ashley. I would rather have legion or Grunt in my party.

I'm too much of a Shepard purist to give the demo a chance. I need to play it with MY shepard and be able to customize anything I might dislike of my previous game. In other words, I'm turning my Shepard into an Albino like I do with every game of mine

Was the modern setting IN the Middle East too? I don't remember hearing that. Then again I don't think they've ever mentioned it, I just thought it was Britain due to british characters and nobody carrying guns hahahaha And of course we don't know what character Desmond is. He has had no chance to grow as a character since the focus was on training him and finding info in the past. Thing is he has already been trained and knows what to do. In Revelations . With the introduction of this we have a huge opportunity to expand on his character and really there is no reason to go back to the animus unless they pull it out of their ass.

In the 1830's there were buildings, just not sprawling cities and big monuments like Europe and Asia had already had for decades if not centuries. I get that you're a super proud Canadian, but just because Bioware is Canadian it doesn't mean they base their whole game on it. They might make Shepard from Canada if your origin story was from earth [which I believe they did] but it doesn't mean the whole game will revolve around it. Why would they all of a sudden go to Canada? The modern setting of the previous titles has been in Europe. I believe they've gone from britain to italy and other places. The ending of revelations is set in Europe. Why would the future people controlling everything randomly decide that Canada was the place everything would take place in? Sorry I don't see it. Many other places in the world have arguably more interesting history than Canada, and you don't switch settings in the modern era so drastically for no reason.

Assassins Creed 3 is the end of Desmond's story. I highly doubt they're gonna spend the entire game in yet another animus, especially after how Revelations ended. While I agree your points are valid and interesting, they could just as easily make another game with this female assassin. Then she's not limited to be in Desmond's bloodline and can have her own importance in the big aspect. I want my game to be set in modern times with desmond fighting modern templars. He already knows his purpose, he already has the training of one of the best assassins around, and most importantly They're welcome to go to feudal japan another time, but to end the story of desmond with ANOTHER new character? No thx.

That's a good point. The game keeps mentioning the whole 2012 debacle, but the setting seems futuristic. Maybe it's an alternate universe where the 2000's are more advanced?

Ubisoft is a french company. While Montreal is their biggest development studio, I highly doubt they get to decide on such a big thing without consulting superiors. And let's be honest, these games work in Europe and Asia since they had been largely established before North America even started. North America's early days has no interesting structures compared to other settings. I'd rather they do it in another country in Europe than a simple forest-like and simplistic town setting in NA. Not to say I know what the battles you mentioned are, but I'm assuming in the time period you set it in no big urban sprawling ala Constantinople/Italy/Middle East will exist.

The ending of Revelations made it decently fucking clear that Desmond was gonna take control. The whole fucking point of Revelations was to end the sagas of the two previous assassins. I haven't discussed it here cause everybody in this forum seems to be "meh" about the game. There's fast travel in the game. Whenever I need to get to somewhere, if i haven't discovered the location before, I fast travel to the nearest location.
