What about older games? I could easily share a lot of my Steam games with my friends without them worrying if I want to play them, if Steam had this function. A lot of your Digital Games are just there being wasted. I have RDR on my backlog (yes it's not digital, just using it as a sample) and my friends don't have that I could lend them that. I don't have BF3, my friends are tired of it, I could borrow that for the campaign if I wanted. If both of you wanted to play the same game at the same time, buy it like how you'd buy 2 physical disks. Edit: Also, if you read the article, it looks like they are aware of "friends" and "family" and you being untruthful, and it looks like they don't care. Sony cut it down because it was never their intention. Plus you could literally share 4 games and play all 4 games online with your friends. I don't think you even have to log into the shared account, just have it activated on the console. That's the reason, I think, they cut it down. It wasn't made for that. This one, though, backpedal or nor, is being made to actually share purchased games with other accounts, which can only be a good thing.

This just gets me excited. It means I can borrow and share games with my internet friends (hint hint!), and if it does well enough, the next gen (of whatever) of digital games could follow and, if MS decides to keep this model, they'd risk being left out. Of course, that's wishful thinking, we just don't know how sustainable this model is. AFAIK, no one has ever done it before. I really want to know how MS is going to implement this.

It could be. I think it's still a nice thing. This is something I would want to see in digital anything, be it movies, games, or apps (probably not apps, but...). Just saying... They are doing something about it. PR clusterfuck notwithstanding.

One good thing about the licensing thing: you can actually share games to up to 10 people. Of course no one can play the same game at the same time. Didn't the previous Versus XIII Trailers show a girl that could be Noctis enemy? In the E3 trailer, I would assume he's facing an evil empire or uprising. Also, the world there was darker. I wonder how much has changed. Or maybe this is just a new side to the game. I bet they just wanted to show off Noctis teleporting to stuff.

Starting from the Slim, PS3s have no power switch anymore. You need to unplug it. Automatic updates and downloads and cloud save uploads (or I think the game does this on its own i don't remember), benefits you get from PS+, also don't work if unplugged, obviously. I don't want my shit always on too but I can make exceptions, especially when the benefit is obvious. Like how I turn off my PC when not in use, but I keep my Apple TV always plugged-in.

Suspend mode is 1 good reason to buy a PS4, or an Xbox, I heard they have a similar thing. When I get home, I want to get back into my game at once! Or when I need to quickly run an errand. It's not required or a very requested feature, but it's 1 thing I definitely love on my portables. Especially with loading times on the PS3. or trying to boot up steam on my PC connected to the TV. I do not want to wait! Laundry and chores can wait though. Also my backlog can wait. Screw that.

Won't that be too much of a waste of space? Isn't it just like digital downloads on the XBox live marketplace? You'll just have a license to download it. The disk (which anyone can buy) would be stored in the cloud (which anyone can download). Not everyone will be able to play it (you need a license). Not saying you can download games before you buy it, but you get what i'm trying to say.. Re the link above: Yeah, I could see the cloud being their excuse to enforce DRM (to check your license). For the XBox One fans, I hope that won't be an underused feature. Also, I love PoP but the reboots are ridiculous.

Just beat The World Ends With You: Solo Remix. Fun game! I can't believe I put in 33 hours on an iPad game. I don't know how different it is from the DS game. They said the boss battles were reworked since there's only 1 screen. No one really gave me a challenge though, except for the final boss. Maybe I've just been grinding too much, or maybe the reworked boss battles are easier. I'm not really into video game soundtracks but I find myself liking this one very much.

Where do you get those fancy words you say? Crazy. I know someone like you in real life. For the record, I hated Steam when they had the broken offline mode. And swore to buy digital games elsewhere. But, yeah, the sales... you just can't beat that. And they eventually fixed the offline thing so I'm fine with them now. I do have games there I haven't touched that I bought for $60. I sometimes wish I could resell them. GMG has a nice system with credits and trade-ins, but most of their games that I would buy are Steam activated. And I think a lot of disc based games too require Steam. PC Gaming has long shut down the idea of trade-ins and used games.

I really wanted to like Blades of Time, because I saw the rewind gameplay and thought it was cool. But the controls are just so clunky. The only thing going for it was the half naked protagonist. So yeah I'm aware of those games and have first hand knowledge that they suck. Edit: Uhh... I guess back on topic, I really don't mind these games. I agree about inappropriate armor though, and while I do not mind them and actually do enjoy them, I see the other side's point and have to agree.

Oh God I just mentioned Lollipop Chainsaw and completely forgot about it. Yes. That. And X-Blades, and Blades of Time. Though not sure about this. It seems to me they were going for that vibe. I could be wrong.

What if that was the theme and style of the game? Like the ones you see in B-Movies. Heavy Metal FAKK 2 comes to mind, I don't know if that was the theme of that game but I knew she was modeled after a B-Movie actress. I like that game though I was poor then and I only played the demo (endlessly!) from a demo disc that came from a magazine. I think she had destructible clothes. But not in the demo though! They only let you see a glimpse! Bastards! Edit: It was a 3rd Person shooter with a female protagonist. She wields swords too. I wasn't clear what I was addressing.

I am obsessed with RAC remixes right now. I've been listening almost exclusively to his stuff for a few weeks now, probably a month. I especially love this remix of a pop song by Jayme Dee, mainly because of the fun effects used in it. He remixes a lot of alternative stuff too, which is why I discovered his stuff in the first place. The one below is Beta Love from Ra Ra Riot. Yeah, me too. I kinda like the voice command thingies and probably will like the gesture commands (and find them useful watching videos). I actually do not care at all about the used games thing much, as I almost always buy my games new and rarely borrow games from friends, but the always online thing (well, every 24 hours) that prevents you from playing your games just sucks. Edit: Hmm.. actually I do sell my old games so I guess that used games thing sucks too. I would give them the benefit of the doubt here. They would just unlock everything. Instead of forever being hated by people. Much like if Steam goes bankrupt (absurd!) they would probably update the client to authenticate every game automagically.

Woah woah woah... I seriously think there's nothing wrong with the trailer, except the cheesy lines and cliches that is expected of the series. Haven't read up on this game and what's happening so the trailer has some good stuff for me. Noel is there, I assume we'll see the others as well. Snow and Lightning fighting! And who was that girl that looks like Serah? Hmmm.. Anyway... yeah. I guess it's true if you lower your expectations you won't be disappointed. But honestly, I believe this would be in the same vein as XIII and XIII-2 with regards to the dialogue and voice acting. Sure I cringed sometimes while Serah was delivering her lines in XIII-2, but overall I think it was a fun game. Edit: tapatalk sucks where are my paragraphs?

I'm buying it if it runs decent on the iPad Mini. Hopefully this is not more than $20.
