So this holiday, I bought even more games! I wasn't able to keep track of the purchases correctly, so I went over the budget. I don't even remember purchasing Home... But I guess it's ok... Budget was $60, the regular price for a new game, total for these games: $70.41. I guess it's not bad. My favorite purchases are definitely the Klei games. Mark of the Ninja, and the 2 Shanks. And i've finished them too! Aiming to get the achievements and try the harder difficulties. Finished Spec Ops: The Line too! Looking forward to playing Deponia.

Yeah, what I think /is/ stupid and unsustainable is not just that you have to grow every year, but that the rate of growth has to increase every year. The economy sucks because it only grew 5%, the same as last year!

@Ethan One of the top things I don't get how it came about because it just don't make sense. Every year has to be blockbuster year else its a down year? The hell? Its just a terrible way to go about business.
I truly wish this way of thinking die in a fire (In truth, it might take a fire of sorts to...).

Well, shit. I watched a few episodes of 666 Park Avenue, as a friend of mine suggested. Turns out it was the new show with Terry O'Quinn (John Locke from Lost). And I love it. So imagine my disappointment when I googled for it and found out it was cancelled (in November). I thought since last year we were done with the new shows being cancelled, in favor of everyone's favorite reality shit, or those dancing shows. I admit they may not be to blame, but when those shows can reach 6 seasons, and have spinoffs, it's hard not to be pissed at them.

A few: 1. Eat less fast-food. I eat fast food at least 3 times a week. I'm not overweight, but I don't think that'll last much longer. 2. Read at least 2 books. I don't read books. But maybe I should start. 3. Watch at least 5 movies. I didn't watch a single movie last year. I don't really watch movies. But maybe I should start. 4. Play more indie games! I rarely play indie games. But maybe I should start. Actually, I already started. It all seems trivial. In addition to the obvious... advantages... of doing #2 and #3, it'll help me in socializing too (by having something to talk about), so I guess that's great. #1 is something I really should do, though I really love fast foods, and #4 is... well... to shake things up a bit. I got burned out playing games twice in 2012 so maybe I should try different kinds of games. Also 5. Learn to play the drums. I'm just setting myself up for disappointment. Who knows.. maybe I really will learn, it'd be cool.

Man I would never touch those. I always let the guys at the store I buy the parts from install the CPU onto the motherboard. The rest I can handle but most of the time they build everything because they're already doing it anyway.

Anyone here had trouble with Assassin's Creed 3 crashing on launch? It just says AC3SP.exe stopped working. I can't get it to launch, but I got it to run 1 time.

I'm curious about the new battle system. From what I've read, everybody just seems to be assuming how it works right now and there's no official word. It looks like 4 actions would be mapped to the 4 buttons, and each Paradigm changes those actions. There's no queue so it looks like actions take place once you press the buttons? Then a gauge depletes as you do more actions, like when she cast Blizzard a big chunk was taken out, then Attack take just a small chunk. If it's like that, I think I'm going to like it. It would probably be cool, too, to face multiple enemies; cast Blizzard on one to send it flying then hack into the other (targets to be picked by the left stick/directional buttons?), kill it and move back to the first one. Or Blizzard then switch to healer and heal, and switch back when he lands. How often can you switch? Seems cool, hope there's a demo too like FF XIII-2. One concern is the camera, though. It was ok when it was moving like crazy on the other games since it's queue based anyway, but it might get frustrating here? I dunno... Hey, look at that. It's one step closer to what they originally showed the battle system would be years ago before XIII's release.

Thanks to CrowKnow for Kingdoms of Amalur! And just this morning I checked my spam folder to look for something, and what did I see? 2 more emails from Kyle, containing the 2 DLCs for the game! It looks like it arrived the same time as KoA but for some reason gmail flagged it as spam. Which is awesome anyway! Thanks again!

I guess the FFXIII-2 look doesn't really fit into this game's world. I like that one the most. She looked like a great, ancient warrior. Looks like she wanted to wear pants, but reached a compromise instead with the designers.

I did a search for bose bluetooth portable and it returned the Bose Soundlink? I'm probably not going to buy that but i'll read about it and see what it does!
