  1. I think to most people, that would appear bad, selling your game and charging extra for native language support. Damage is already done before you can explain that that was how the game was originally made.
  2. Re: Tapatalk and Status Updates. Apparently they're working on it, but they said that almost a year ago. So, no, it currently doesn't support those, and you'll have to go to the browser. Just in case anyone wants to know. EDIT: Notifications work, too! iOS at least.

    Help!

I was after the Status Updates thing on the right, seeing as that is everyone's favorite part of the forum. However, I seem to have lost it on the web too. How do I get it back? All the cool kids are there! I'll see if status updates are supported in Tapatalk. What is our forum software called? I don't even know how to start searching for it on google. All I get is status updates about tapatalk, like new versions and bug fixes and stuff.
  4. I don't much care for the Vine app, but I would like a Vinepeek app!

  5. Are status updates not really in Tapatalk?

    Apple

Well, i'm gonna post this here so we'll have some good Apple news for a change http://arstechnica.com/apple/2013/01/apple-fires-chinese-supplier-for-using-underage-workers/
  7. I liked Saint's Row 2 better than 3, for some reason I can't point out. I just had more fun with it, even recommending it to friends. I just couldn't get into SR 3, for some reason I can't follow the story. Had me asking "I'm doing what? For what?" all the time. I dunno... About the article though, hmm.. I see where he's coming from, but I kinda play Saint's Row 3 for those things so I don't want them to go. Maybe the dildo was a bad PR move, maybe not, as it's still being talked about as one of the posters pointed out. Hey, SR 2's defining feature (as far as trailers go) was spraying everyone with shit, from the awesome Septic Avenger.
  8. I'm going to be getting that Microsoft Bundle at Amazon for Deadlight. I already have Mark of the Ninja, so if you're going to get it for that game, I can trade it with some game I don't have yet.

Actually, I take that back. I've got one of the $5 credits and I want Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet too, so I'll just buy the bundle myself.

I'm interested if there's anything of value you want: DOTA 2 invite/s, Torchlight, The Ship, "Airmech 2 Gifts". Mobile access lololol.

  9. Is that NFS Most Wanted input lag intentional? It's horrible! :(

They actually intended the game as a drunk driving simulator.

  10. I wish I could unlike that comment! What's wrong with the fishies?
  11. The guy sounds like a cheesy action movie villain! I'd love to see a video of the event. I mean, him, on that table, onstage alone making statements and proclamations. Like one of those dictators in futuristic movies. With sexy bodyguards, too! http://goo.gl/IVLHE

I don't know, I imagine all video would do is spoil the magic that that picture contains. It's too perfect.

    Apple

This is old, but new to me, since I never owned a Mac before. So Apple made their own SAMBA implementation for use in OS X Lion, which caused network file transfers (from Windows) of "large" files (300mb isn't large!) to fail. All the time! And is still isn't fixed in OS X Mountain Lion (if they even consider it broken). I was wondering why I couldn't transfer any file >300mb. Thankfully someone created this, and now all is well. I'm a fan of their mobile gadgets, and I don't really mind proprietary stuff, but it should at least not be half-assed! I thought I had to replace my wires, my wifi adapter, or my router due to this! (Of course if you only use Mac, this is a non-issue. But having used one, I vastly prefer Windows 7/8, so it becomes a problem. But that's another issue...)
  13. Wow... These replacement actors in Spartacus (Season 2) is really hurting my enjoyment of the show. The new Spartacus looks too inexperienced (he's too pretty for the role! And that haircut!), and I have a hard time believing these other gladiators following him. And the new Naevia just looks so helpless. It's really hard to feel any sympathy for her. I know the new Spartacus is not anyone's fault... but dammit...
  14. I like it! Playing Witcher 2 and having to keep going to a menu for map or inventory gets old real fast. A few extra buttons for quicksaving/quickloading sounds good too. I dunno. I might be in their target demographic. I like a lot of Razer stuff. As for the shoulder buttons, looks like a normal 360 controller to me. Might be slightly higher, I can't tell for sure.
  15. Woo! The game has boobies! .... On a serious note, while watching it, i kept thinking "this reminds me of something"... Then Mal mentioned Ghost in the shell and that was it exactly. Enough for me to subscribe to the thread. Read the description on the video too. People not in control of their cybernetics? Where have i seen that before? Hmmm...
  16. Trade? I have keys for Origin: Dragon Age 2 Mercenaries 2: World in Flames Mirror's Edge Burnout Paradise (I'm not sure I want to trade it, but maybe for the right game...) GFW: Bulletstorm (I wouldn't know how this would even be traded...?) Steam: Sleeping Dogs Bastion Fallout: New Vegas (No DLC) Mark of the Ninja EDIT: updated with Mark of the Ninja
  17. How do you guys usually play games like Borderlands, or Diablo? Do you bring in your characters, or what? I mean, level differences will kinda take out the fun in those games, right? I might want to join in on Borderlands 2, but I haven't even started it yet (shouldn't even have pre-ordered it!)
  18. I'll mainly use it for switching around steam and origin, since it messes with big picture mode (origin stays on top after exiting the origin game). and sometimes when the focus on steam is on the steam web browser, pressing the XBox button won't bring up big picture. so I have to move the mouse a bit and click outside. Very minimal use, just alt-tabbing and stuff. Oh.. and also some games have the mouse pointer in the middle even if I started the game using a controller. It doesn't go away unless I move the mouse. It's really annoying. I currently use a wireless mouse, and while that does the job, I need a flat surface so to use it I have to be hunched over to the table from the sofa while looking up at the TV. It makes my head hurt! BTW! Do you ever turn it off?
  19. There was a hardware thread but I didn't wanna post there because this is just a keyboard, but has anyone tried the Logitech K400 (or K400r)? http://www.logitech.com/en-us/product/Wireless-touch-keyboard-k400r?crid=26 I'm interested in the battery life of the thing. It needs 2 AA batteries, but it says it can last for a year. I have a logitech keyboard, the revolution, it requires 4 AAs, but it only lasts for around 3 months. I'm gonna use it on the PC connected to my TV and I like it because it has a touchpad built in, which is very convenient. Or maybe you guys have used a similar keyboard?
  20. Watching Spartacus reminds me of watching the WWE when I was a kid... I'm currently watching Gods of the Arena. Gannicus' blindfolded fight was fucking intense! The slow motion scenes were OK at first, but got really annoying later on. There was a scene in the first season where Spartacus was fighting a bunch of guards in some shallow pool, and one of them kicked him into the water. He rose in slow motion, as the camera cuts to each of the observers faces showing their amazement, but NOT in slow motion. It was ridiculous!
  21. Luftwaffles purposely beat my jump kick record in sleeping dogs :( There is no way you'll do 69 jump kicks willingly!

... it has been remedied. Move along.

Was it on sale recently? You're the third person to announce it's completion! That said, how was it?

It was. You can even get it for $3 on Amazon if you have a $5 promo code.

Gameplay is standard for a cover shooter. Like nothing new, nothing horrible. The story is unique (IMO), at least among the different military shooters. The game wants to make you think, even breaking the 4th wall on loading screens.

Also, the game is really pretty. The desert, plus all the glass windows on Dubai's buildings look great.
