  1. "This game is the most linear piece of shit of all time! Not worth your 60 bucks." "It's a rent at best." "No pause during crafting? Are you kidding me? You expect me to fiddle with menus in real time?" "60 fps or no buy. Naughty Dog wasted their time and money creating a game on this weak hyped up console ever. Games like these should be on PC." "I feel like multiplayer shouldn't have existed for this game. I don't really know why, it just shouldn't!" "Fuck Sony and your first party. This is America bring games to the Xbox goddamnit!!!" Edited, because Tapatalk spacing sucks.
  2. http://www.theverge.com/2013/6/5/4398038/arrested-development-fan-edits-untangle-season-four-timeline Edit: what hell happened to my comment? Anyway, i wanted to say that this was like what i had wanted above with the scene they were all together, but done for the whole season? And that the narration probably would not make much sense...
  3. Yeah I was really surprised too when they mentioned it on the rev3games review. Another comment was how you had to rotate the left stick a lot during these sequences that its actually a pain to do.
  4. You're probably right. I would bet a 50% off deal is what we would see. maybe during the holidays. Usually you could only hope for 33% on new(ish) good games. Skyrim took forever to get it's price down to 50%.
  5. Scores! They're all over the place! Review links are probably in the comments section. http://www.vg247.com/2013/06/03/remember-me-reviews-are-go-get-all-the-scores-here/
  6. I own KotOR on the Xbox, and PC. I still have not played it. Looks like I'm going to own it on the iPad, too! Soon... And I feel like I'm finally going to play it!

I used to run it on Win7 easily enough. Should try on 8 now...

I play it on the original XBox still, and the game is stable. i have found it buggy on the 360, though.

^ That was what I wanted to do, so that I would have controller support. Never got around to doing that though.

I've watched a video of the iPad gameplay. And the interface was quite... tappable. Movement and camera is a bit clunky but what can you do.

Oh and wait till you see how they handled the conversations on the iPad. I found it funny, but it does work.

  7. I assume you're getting 7 due to a price difference? 8.1 would add the start menu back and booting straight to desktop, so It would be pretty much going to be like 7.
  8. Those were my favorite parts of the game! I love how Wei chains moves so smoothly. I kept repeating those challenges. It's like in Arkham where I run around just trying to get into situations with more than 5 enemies. It doesn't look like the combat here would be like that though. Or the guy just really sucked in chaining moves together, in that video above.
  9. Guys, if you have an iPad, get Magicka. It's currently free. And it's awesome. https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/magicka/id588720940?mt=8

I've seen that mentioned a few times but, why was carmageddon allowed to break that rule?

It didn't, they released two versions. I own "Carmageddon Promo" which was only on Play for a day.

Though FDS is a tad wrong. Can't go free, can go lower than a dollar.

  10. They do. You won't miss it! It was!
  11. And re: WaS comment above (don't read if you haven't seen the first George-Michael episode, not the first episode - that's a Michael one! I'm talking about the one later in the season.)
  12. I take back what I said about PunchQuest earlier. Too much grinding, even with the coin doubler. Apparently it was due to a recent update, I don't know when I stopped playing it for months and just recently picked it up. It's horrible. Too bad.
  13. I've finished it now too, and I'm gonna take back a little of what I said before. The style grew on me, though I still would have preferred (I'm gonna put this in spoilers now)
  14. I'm on episode 7 now. I... don't know how I feel about it. I like that we have a new season. And it's pretty funny still. I just don't like the style of these new episodes. I think it's too focused on 1 character, that it get's tiring to watch. Also, I'm having trouble following the plot. It definitely is 1 big story, but a lot of time jumps occur in an episode. They show you each character on what they've been up to all this time (I assume up to Michael and Gob's Scene in the first episode), and they show you how it all interconnects but then every time they do they add in more details. I guess it should make you go "Ahhh.. so that's what happened, that's what it was for...". Sometimes it just gets too confusing. Also, too much narration? I don't know... It seems like there's too much. Or maybe too much important information in the narration. I don't know how to put it... First thing I've noticed since the first episode, even before I realized I didn't like the new format. In short, it's even more unappealing to people who didn't like/bother with the first 3 seasons. Even if you watch it "on DVD" where you get all the episodes. Watching the first 3 seasons on DVD was the most helpful suggestion you could give to anyway looking to enjoy the old show. I REALLY HOPE they have a few episodes where the cast is all together. More than 1! Though I must admit I'm looking forward to Gob's episode. My favorite scene: Buster: ..."Don't pull out!" Gob: "GAAAAAAAAAHHHH" (in agony)
  15. Why do the good guys always turn their back on their captive bad guys, and get their asses handed to them? Actually, even bad guys do it. And they wonder how the good guys keep slipping from grasp. Tie both their legs and feet. Especially if they're trained agents, military personnel, super police unit. This is such an annoying trope. I want to punch all their faces every time this happens. Anyway, just finished watching Season 2 of Nikita. Love this show. They say season 2 was the least good among all of the seasons. True, I liked Season 1 better. Hopefully that stays true as I watch Season 3 in the next weeks. And with how Season 2 ended, I would say it's not going to be more of the same. At least I hope so. Also, Alex acting like a kid in that one episode (Shadow Walker) is one of my favorites. She should do that more often to differentiate herself from Nikita.
  16. Yes! Very dissapointing! Though I guess it's not as bad as the PS3 screenshot (or video?) functionality, remote play functionality, background music functionality, etc where it's there, but you have to code it in. At least, based on what I've read they have to disable it. Which is a conscious decision they'd have to make. If they say that by default, this is OFF, then that's a huge problem. If the default is ON, it's not that bad, I guess. I'd hate this to be another of PS' functionality go to waste.
  17. I'm going to put this here since there was discussion before on the site's comment system. I was just reading lifehacker and accidentally clicked on a comment, and whoa, it popped up the conversation. I think it wasn't like this before when they changed to the new gawker layout. Honestly, I love it. It only shows a few posts per comment, and everything will just show when you click on it. Makes it easier to skip useless posts like "What the hell is a lightning cable?" on a post about the lightning cable and it's alternatives. I wish sites I read had a similar system, as well as Amazon reviews. Like for example Ars Technica's comment system is the plain old one, making it very difficult to track conversations. The Verge's comment system's threads go every which way which makes it a pain to read and having to scroll endlessly to find helpful comments. Opinions on how it is currently? Forgive me if this is how it was when they first switched. I didn't click on them before.
  18. What's with the "J" key? I use a white keyboard, and it's brown now. It's far dirtier than any other key on my keyboard.

I just clicked on the "Free Download" text. Then it went to another page saying "a problem occurred". Can't even select a format.

I'm going to try it at work. And see if I can get it from there...

  20. Related to this are those posts that claim something, usually about your health, and saying that you should stop doing whatever because of some scientific study or an article written by some doctor named in the article. I mean, who would ever doubt the thing if a doctor wrote it? But a quick googling of the information will show you that it's entirely inaccurate, and is merely a chain letter. And then those people who Like the article, and add on their experiences. A quick link to snopes, or to the first search result in google would fix it, but I hate to be that guy who does that, especially when a friend of a friend already posted their own thoughts agreeing with the article. The thing that ticks me off is that people are willing to believe the ridiculousness of it all. Don't they ever question how true the article could be? It's usually about some insane thing about eating shrimp, or diet coke. People eat shrimp and drink diet coke all the time. How come they never heard of this serious health risk before in their life? And then, since these are facebook friends, I witness it having an actual effect on their life. And mine. When people tell me not to drink diet coke.

  23. Hey guys! Trying to avoid spoilery stuff on the internet on the Citadel DLC. Just want to ask, is there 2 ways to approach this DLC? I mean post game, or pre-cerberus, or just do it as I encounter it. I'm restarting anyway, since I'm going to use my male vanguard shep for this one, and I'm tired of my old adept femshep.
