Really enjoying the first two episodes. Antonia Thomas is mighty might fine. Yes, join us in misery... I just googled Antonia Thomas and got a completely different result and I was like "Woah... what!?". Turns out i had typed "Antonio" instead.

Especially when you are trying to get gold on a race / etc. For story missions it's not so bad.

They are pretty bad... let's hope that like Wipeout 2048, there may be some optimizations they can work into a patch. It's really puzzling how they have to go to an all-black loading screen just to take you to a feature in a part of town you're already in.

Also, this isn't a real criticism, but... try walking up to someone working at a stall, then go to first person mode, and slowly look up... I find when the bottom of the screen hits their waist or chest, they disappear.

What's your favorite Band of Brothers episode? I like Currahee, but my favorite would be The Breaking Point. Good drama, and also has the most badass scene in the series (IMO), with Speirs running through that German-occupied town (and going back). Insane.

I'm trying to convince myself to get Gravity Rush. I have a few questions: 1. Does the game have English VA? As I recall, the demo didn't. 2. In terms of mechanics, how does it compare to crisis core? I'm asking because I consider Crisis Core a very good portable game, as it has tons of missions you can do on the go, albeit repetitive, it gives me something to strive for so, so I do feel rewarded as I complete the next harder missions. I've read from you guys posts that there are missions although I don't know how similar they are. 3. Does it have some sort of materia system? Like DNA boards and gun upgrades in The 3rd birthday or Materia in Crisis Core? Something similar? (Yes I like Squeenix portables) 4. Someone mentioned inFamous. Is there an open world? 5. Could I have researched all of this? Maybe. I'll watch a review after I post this. Reading is for losers.

The changes sound cool and would really fix the minor annoyances in the game. Like the north arrow. Who the hell creates a rotating mini map without a north arrow? The book trading checkmarks and unrotation of the alchemy symbols are welcome. My mind keeps telling me that it's not enough to match the colors of the ingredients but also match the symbol. This will save me the annoyance of having to picture what that symbol looks like at a 45 degree angle.

When playing games with skill trees and attribute points, do you spend them all on each level? Or do you keep some "just in case", and just spend what you think you need for the current area/level?

I hoard points, but no more than three levels' worth of them, if I can. Don't want to fall too behind.

Well as I'm doing it atm: FFX I spend as n when I have the points, but games like Torchlight I'll spend at first, then hold some off for future encounters, allows for flexibilty. Attributes I spend right away though, only couple to spend it on, same with ME.

Ooooh me me! Favorite Shows: Lost - (IMO Best Show ever. Also IMO has the Best TV episode of any TV Show in "The Constant".) Arrested Development. - I have watched this show like 7 times already and its still funny! Doctor Who. - My favorite that is still airing. Mad Men - I just love the '60s in this show. Degrassi. - I don't care what you say! This show is addicting. I also like shows about school in general. Scrubs. Band of Brothers (does this count?) Other shows I like/liked watching: Chuck Game of Thrones The Tudors Rome The Borgias (notice a pattern?) Burn Notice Person of Interest Bones 24 Haven Sherlock Revenge The Vampire Diaries (IMO the first season was really good) Heroes (the first season was so good it deserves to be in my list even though the rest kinda sucked) And I would take a page from earlier commenter's posts... These are the things I would like to watch because apparently they are good. Dexter - I tried watching it before, but gave up. I do not remember why. Breaking Bad. Boardwalk Empire

It doesn't help that I left my game at fighting Mr Freeze in Arkham City. Now whenever I try to play the game I get bored!

I left it down for a while at Mr Freeze as well. It is worth getting past that though. But man, that fight was a wreck the head.

Yeah it's not really that bad. Just not really in the mood to play lately so when I tried it I just get tired of it. I guess if I saved outside I can just roam around and combo goons, that would be better.

Downloading the demo now, and if I like it, I'm gonna get torchlight 2 so I can get the first game free... Hopefully this can kick me out of my gaming slump...

You may be right in arguing that the single player argument is invalid because diablo doesn't have single player. But the root of all the complaint is that they could have added real single player to it. It's not that hard to grasp why people want it to be this way. The predecessors in the series were like this, it was never marketed as an MMO. Yes, it was announced basically multiplayer only a year ago, and yes as expected there was resistance to it. Just like now, when some people just really want to play single player diablo. That is why (I assume) people hate it. Plus the fact that Blizzard can do this, and still sell a crapload of copies would encourage companies to copy the approach and implement their own. Then we'll have all these games without single-player content. And with all the complaints about forcing multi-player in games, imagine the anger that would be generated when our AAA titles release only with multiplayer modes.

If they're soft subs, you could get a demuxer for whatever format it's in (MKV, I'd guess?) to pull them out, and maybe a subtitle tool to make them into .SRT format. Then in Handbrake, just make sure you always go to the Subtitles tab and make sure the subtitles are either added, or added and burned-in. (iPhone can actually do subs as captions - it's not bad...) Cool. I tried handbrake for this before but I couldn't get it to work. I had the .srt and the video file, and I checked the subtitle box in the... subtitle tab. I'm gonna try it again. I have the .srt for all of them already! Thanks!

I'm on a gaming slump! Haven't played any games for weeks. I started The Longest Journey but I got bored. I tried inFamous but I got dizzy. I really want to play the new SimCity I just read about, but it won't be out months!

I guess we are waiting for the fall releases... I got into this last year I think and I watched the whole series of Entourage and Doctor Who. Couldn't touch a single game...
Unfortunately there is nothing I want to watch right now. I feel like I'm just wasting time on the internet... doing nothing!
