So am I the only one who's seen this yet? I guess this is my FIRST!!!! Comment. I'll be able to write a more in depth opinion of the film when I get a chance to sit down, probably on Sunday. I'll say this, I really fucking enjoyed The Force Awakens. It had everything I'd want from a Star Wars film. Was it perfect? No, it's got one or two niggles but on the whole I'm super excited about the franchise being back, and after watching the prequels over the last 4 days, it's great to see that they've gone back to what Star Wars used to be.

In hindsight, I think I'm going to go and say The Witcher 3 was a bit of a disappointment. I enjoyed my time with it greatly, but in my opinion it's a weaker game than the one that came before it. As for my GOTY? Until Dawn gets the nod ahead of The Taken King (if we're allowing that, TTK is my GOTY). I don't typically enjoy horror games, but this was the perfect combination of fun, tension and visuals. **Edit** So Yeah, I forgot Rocket League and Guitar Hero Live. Still playing them both now, and I don't see that changing coming into the new year.

I had £40 in steam credit, and fancied gettting some newer games for a change (I know Ryse is old). Plus I'll be forced to go on Destiny Hiatus with me moving house (no internet fuck), and this is likely the last time I get to buy games for a while (House).

Not played Woolly World, but I've heard its one of the most charming, yet utterly boring games to come out in a while. Fits in the same slot as Captain Toad for me. Charming Nintendo titles that I'd play if I could find them for £15 a go.

Decided to leave well alone. With the Steam Autumn sale coming up, I'm hoping we'll see a few titles in that'll do the job I was hoping Dying Light would, without the whole 'It's Dying Light' thing.

Totally stolen from Reddit. I noticed we didn't really have a thread for buying advice. So...........here it is. So, Dying Light is currently sitting at £20 on Steam. It's been on my Wishlist for a while now, and I'm genuinely interested in picking it up. Not least because I've got a two week period of Internet-Less living to do when me I move out of my current place. My question is this, Is Dying Light worth the investment, or should I save my money? Little bit of background, I didn't love Dead Island. In my limited time with the game I just remember being utterly disappointed. Is this more of the same, or does it break free of those problems that ruined Dead Island for many? Also, how long is the game? It's open world right? are we talking more Witcher 3 or Ground Zero's here? Thanks.

Despite my trepidation, I finally started a secondary character. Female Awoken Warlock. Two or so hours in and I've got to say, Warlocks are real fun to play. Iron Banner is back today, is anyone going to bother or is the general concensus a big 'meh' after the previous event?

It's gone and done it again. Not sure if its specific to my rig or what but so far 3/4 times I've tried to access a terminal I've been forced to quit the game/load a previous save.

Been playing for roughly 25 minutes and already the games bugged out on me twice. Not sure how repeatable it is, but if you're playing on PC maybe don't log into any terminals in the vault for a while.

But what we all want to know is ..ahem Does Syndicate signify a return to form for the Assassin's Creed Franchise?

So um...are they using the same engine from KOTOR? because damn if this game doesn't feel old.

*brushes away cobwebs* So I'm thinking of giving this game a look. With all this excitement about Star Wars, I'm desperate for something to throw myself into and I don't think Battlefront is it. Is anyone playing, or has anyone played it since it went F2P and how well is it likely to play as someone looking to play it on my own (for the most part).

I've put upwards of 140 hrs into this game and I've not completed so much as a Nightfall strike (Hell I'd like to be able to finish the Prison of Elders stuff but alas, No matchmaking). I understand the lack of Matchmaking for the Raid, everything I've read about it makes it sound like a diabolically different set of skills is required, but at the same time Nightfall and PoE should include Matchmaking, as far as I know those just require that you can use a gun....right?
