  1. Anyone tempted to go back and hit the original Raids? I never got a chance to do them, but would really like to take a stab at them.
  2. So, I'll no doubt end up grabbing one of these but is anyone else kind of wishing Nintendo would just do away with their home console business? They make some truly awesome games, but aside from Mario Maker, what games released on Wii U wouldn't have worked on a PS4, PC or XONE?
  3. I keep getting killed by what looks like a rogue sniper round, and the game lists the kill as 'Killed By Architects'. Any ideas? Figured it out
  4. You don't mention location in either case. Why is that? That's a huge determination of pricing in the US. Also, age of the place. More general than anything. The flat was an old textiles factory that got converted a good while ago; the kitchen was a bit of mess (unhinged doors - stains on the floor) and there was little to no lighting (also directly on main road - no garden).
  5. Maybe I'm being naive but you'd imagine there'd be a more noticeable different in price between a 2 bed terrace house and a 1 bed flat; nope. I had a flat viewing a few months ago, they wanted £475 P/M for what was essentially a single bedroom and a kitchen/bathroom/living room. Disgusting.
  6. It saddens me to see games like Tearaway do so poorly in the charts. Say what you will about its game mechanics, it's visual style is something totally different.

  8. Arkham Knight (incomplete) So, I'd place this as my 3rd favourite game in the series (including Origins), which says more about the quality of the series than this game as it's really damn good. It's got some problems though, and I think it get's in its own way at times. The Tank battles were tedious to say the least, I must have destroyed upwards of 700 tanks in my playthrough. Riddler trophies are as annoying as they've ever been, only this time however story is hidden behind them. There's no way I'm going to spend the time collecting them all (I just don't find it that worthwhile), so I googled the 'true' ending and it looks like I made the correct call. So yeah, a good game that ultimately shoots itself in the foot by trying to go bigger and badder than before. It's over-long and loses sight of what Batman is too. Remind if of a certain recent Batman film?
  9. Any LootCrate fans here? I'm looking into purchasing a sub, is it worth it?

If there's a theme you're interested in, you can sign up for the monthly subscription and cancel after the month. Honestly, you'll get so much junk if you keep it for a whole year, and half of it is pointless knickknacks.

Yeah from what I've seen unless you like a broad range of stuff then your best bet is putting that cash aside to buy stuff you specifically want.

No, it is not worth it. It is all extra promotional materials, like cheap feeebies you would get at a convention.

  10. TIL: TheFlyingGerbal has no soul. I know all of Pacific Rim's various problems, but I just don't care. No film has given me more entertainment value over the last few years. Bring on the sequel.
  11. I've had that for a few weeks now. Basically whenever I post anything, be it replies or status updates it hangs. Almost always posts though, even if I close the tab whilst it's getting its shit together.
  12. Bleach? How bad was that place that he had to resort to bleach? You live in one of those advert houses don't you? One of the ones where they film those advert-shows you see on ITV3 at 4am. 'Look how much grime is removed by just one application of Super-Awesome-Bleach. And it gets better, with every purchase of Super-Awesome-Bleach, we'll throw in a free holiday to Tunisia'.
  13. My birthday is 2 weeks prior to that. Not that I'm suggesting anything guys. 3rd March. I accept Paypal or Amazon Giftcards.
  14. I'm nervously waiting for episode 5 to hit (any info?). My only complaint about the game (and you could leverage this at all of Telltale's games) is that the story seems to go bad for the Foresters at every turn, and I'm powerless to stop it. Some of the writing is a little off too
  15. Lara Croft Go It's basically the same game as Hitman Go, only there's less emphasis on murdering things and more on just getting through the level. They introduce a few tension building mechanics too, which is nice as I found Hitman Go a little too tedious at times. LC GO looks fantastic as well, arguably my favourite looking game on iPad.
  16. One of my favourite films, and one that I think got RDJ the Iron Man job. He's basically playing a not-rich Tony Stark RDJ. Also Val Kilmer is fucking hilarious in this. I just saw The Bourne Supremacy. Lacks the excitement of the first film; but it has its moments. Can't wait to get back to the 3rd in the trilogy.
  17. Bit early in the morning for you isn't it? Yeah, I'm not sure Fassbender would hop on this if he didn't think it was good. My only counter-point to my "no faith in Fassbender" would be Glyenhall n Kinglsey aren't exactly shit actors and PoP was considered kinda poopy. Though if memory serves it was largely due to being sorta nonsensical (especially given time travel bit) and shit editing can destroy any film. What I mean is, they take the worst aspects of the game and try to make a movie around them. Assassins Creed has some interesting central themes, but in order to earn the money of the 15 year olds they're trying to cater too, they'll largely ignore them and make another boring, predictable action film; only this time with swords.
  18. Half the trouble with games based on video games is that they try to imitate the game itself. All I want is a story based in the AC world, if they can make a good one of those we'll be doing well. I trust in Fassbender and Cotillards as damn good actors who are capable of picking a decent project to work on too. Maybe this might actually be good.
  19. Whilst I don't doubt that it'd take a moment of complete idiocy to actually put the pen in the wrong way around, there should still be a safeguard against it. It doesn't require much force to do, so Samsung should really have you covered here.
  20. Yup, only instead of having a good number of levels that you could go back into to earn those things, Trine 3 gives you 3-4 levels to do it with, which isn't all that fun.
  21. Currently working through Trine 3, and they've introduced a gating system for their levels and I'm not sure why (it's to pad their already short game out), as I can't imagine anyone enjoys this mechanic.
  22. I've heard the G4 has a pretty great camera too; shame the software supposedly sucks. As for me, I'm still really happy with my One+1. I was initially interested in the +2, but nah, that's not going to happen. The MOTO X Whatever, now that, that I could go for. Via MotoMaker of course.
  23. From what I've heard its a pretty great device. I'm not a massive fan of the back of the phone, and I hear the battery is a little hit and miss, but the phone itself is fantastic.
  24. I'm a 27 year old retail employee. I've already accepted there's no way I'll ever own my house as well as run a car, save for a pension and keep the lights on at the same time. Oh well.
