After this video, I've become amazed at how Gearbox was able to get Duke Nukem Forever an M rating. I don't know if there has ever been any other M-rated game with that many rating remarks/comments either. I would say even if Forever turns out to be mediocre, or possibly a pile of crap, it'll go down as the one game to push the Mature rating to its peak. Might be good to have Grand Theft Auto out of that spotlight with game rating legislation.

It didn't cause any injuries, did it? Normally I'd be fine with people using remote control helicopters and whatnot within my house, but I generally make sure they keep it to the living room/common area only. I think people would probably have more fun with these things outdoors... Like I said, it's really cheap so any outdoor wind would cause his toy to crash, like, 50 ft away. It's a small indoor one, but our common/kitchen area is also really small. I've never seen it go as fast as it did tonight. I don't think it would have cracked the screen of my HDTV, but leave a lot of scratches. The girl is fine, but she didn't see it coming, and neither of us did either.

I see things have taken a serious tone. Well like I said earlier, whenever someone is over, there is a higher chance of something breaking. One roommate brought out his toy helicopter, but this is a cheap model. It last about 10 minutes before losing all power. When it loses power, the toy loses control. I almost had to dive and get hit in the face with a bunch of plastic blades so the thing didn't crash into my HDTV. Thankfully the helicopter took a B-line away from the HDTV, but it accidentally nose dived into the dude's girl's knee and caused her to practically fall down.

Oh, I'm aware of The Sun. Back in the days of Kotaku membership, I remember an article about The Sun stating something about video games. I, along with dozens of others, pretty much stated, "Um, hello? You're talking about The Sun here." If my memory serves me correctly, there was another article where the author said something like, "The Sun (Yes, I know it's "The Sun") has..."

"-Any actions done by your guests, YOU will take responsibility for." This is one I've had trouble with in the past. Guests making messes and breaking anything they get in their grasp. Usually it's small repairs anyone can do, but somehow it seems I'm the one who is bothered by slanted drawers, broken blinds, cups of fluids randomly placed anywhere, and etc. At least the door was repaired, but we'll see what happens when we have company over again.

I'm going to lay off for a while with Pokemon White. I'm at the point in the game where even "common" Pokemon break out of Pokeballs. Like, on Route 13/14. Oh, and don't get me started on Thundurus! See, I don't like wasting Pokeballs, or at least a lot of Pokeballs. Last night I almost caught the jerk, but right before the clicking sound, the bastard popped out and ran away. Now I'm beginning to realize that all the times I've faced him, I should have had Haxorus False Swipe him so that I could Quick Ball the thing when I meet it again at 1 HP.

At midnight, a nasty plot unfolds.

I worked my Lampent up to Lv. 61 for it to learn Pain Split. Immediately after that, I took a Dusk Stone and made a glorious Chandelure appear in the setting sun. All its stats were raised except for the HP. Oh, I also got a Watchog to have sexual relations with a Golduck I caught. Basically took the Patrat I caught in the beginning of the game, gave it Exp. Share. Fought a few high level Pokemon and it sky rocketed. There's a problem to that though... For moves that Pokemon learn at the level of evolution, it seems that if you have them pass that level before the battle is over, they don't learn it. So what you'll have to do is go to the woman in Mistralton City who'll help Pokemon remember previous moves. Of course, at the cost of a Heart Scale.

Yeah, not to beat a dead horse, but quite a few prominent Newgrounds members have started to upload their work onto YouTube as well.

Okami, because in my English project where I chose the topic "Video games as art," it helped to have a video game based on an actual art style, sumi-e. Valkyria Chronicles is a close second.

The only guaranteed way to have that many (or more) people look silly is to be e-famous, like Nostalgia Critic, or submit yourself to a lot of cocaine.

If I were the teacher, and I knew it was a private conversation, I would tell the kid to come up and share his speech with the rest of the class. After all, if you're going to invoke such liberties, it must be a discussion vital to everyone else. So yeah, kinda like reading a note in front of class. Then again, maybe everyone would be interested in knowing what he's gonna do with his girl that night.

Meh, a line of text has only so much appeal. Besides, first time I saw that Egoraptor short was on YouTube mobile. Perfect for laughs on the go, so unless Newgrounds has an app for that, I'd say it's cool to have it both ways.

lolwut? For the life of me I couldn't remember the exact quotes, but I've heard (and read) some ridiculous uses of "Freedom of Speech." Once some kid in high school tried to justify talking during a teacher's lecture as Freedom of Speech, but again, I can't remember it all other than, "No, you didn't just say that..."

It's a general pet peeve, and I'm sure one most of you will agree with, but the use of "freedom of speech." In my opinion, too many people use it as a "Get Out of Jail" card much like people will say, "Just Kidding!" Except, with Freedom of Speech, it's like people will blame others for limiting it. Really, people use it as a buzzword. They disregard the "speech" aspect of the right and simply tote around the "freedom" like it'll get them anything they want. "If you don't let me stay up late, you're hindering my Freedom of Speech!" "I want to eat at Burger King guys! You're not allowing me my Freedom of Speech!" "I want to play this game because it's in my Freedom of Speech!"

Metroid Prime 2: Echoes I still think it's a good game, but there were definitely changes I did not find enjoyable. I mean, coming after the amazing Metroid Prime, Echoes had a lot to live up to. Yet, the lack of direction and use of beam cannon ammo. While you're trying to get back on track, you're shooting off ammo that can only proportional be obtained by expending another type of ammo. Of, and your ultimate beam weapon uses both types of ammo.
