  1. After two months, I finally have my Red Bird. Really, a whole month to deliver a bird pulsh from Finland!

  2. My Blitzle, like most, had great Speed and Attack along with Sp. Attack. However, the low HP and Defense meant that I would usually get an attack or two before I could possibly switch him out for another Pokemon. After you beat the fourth Gym Leader, Elesa, she gives you TM72: Volt Switch. I taught this to my Blitzle, though it sucked as far as training. If that one move didn't take out the enemy, you're suppose to switch out with another Pokemon. Therefore, (sorta) half the Exp. in battle. Gave him Exp. Share and finally he evolved into Zebstrika, but it was still the same problem. Not as severe, but at most he could take four hits before fainting. While Joltik may not learn a lot of Electric-type moves on his own, there are really good Electric-type TM attacks. I felt kinda bad for getting rid of Electroweb, the Pokemon's signature move, but I want to have Slash (Normal) and Bug Bite (Bug) for a variety of moves. Gastro Acid might be helpful, and it's always good to have, at least, one Status move. EDIT: Also, I went for a Joltik with the Compound Eyes ability. Unnerve is a very specific ability (Opponent can't use Berries), whereas Compound Eyes raises Accuracy by 30%. P.S. I always like the Electric-type Gym Leaders, and I have to say Elesa is my favorite (so far). Burgh is kinda cool, though I probably contribute that to how he helps out against Team Plasma.
  3. It was kinda lame not to see Riddler, but at the same time I liked what they did in the radio conversations. The last two especially are awesome. Right before you collect all of the trophies, you can see Batman locating Riddler through their conversation. When you collect them all, he's getting busted by the cops. Riddler: 0 Batman: 1
  4. One more post before diving into White! I'm thinking of going for this little fella. The problem I had/have with Blitzle/Zebstrika is that they have really poor defense. The stats are very much unbalanced, but not like Joltik/Galvantula! Still, what is the opinion of the mighty TAY PokeCrew on those little Bug-Electric types?
  5. I should graduate from college with a Bachelor's Degree that Fall semester, so obviously that means college must be the pivotal moment of my life. Forget love, freedom, and happiness; education is all that's left! :'(
  6. That's probably the Explosive Gel. This time around, the gel gets a lot more combat action.
  7. I'll get Arkham City when it arrives, first day with no exceptions. I had put the first, Arkham Asylum, on hold and didn't pick it up until the GOTY Edition. To think of all the time I went without that wonderful game!
  8. (Freaking Comcast, "Dur, you have no Internet" when I do...) I'll make this quick. I might go back to Victini as Solosis has been difficult to train. Primarily have been using Exp. Share. However, it will learn Pain Split, but still, its only attacks are Future Sight and PsyShock. Endeavor requires your Pokemon to be weak, and Hidden Power did barely any damage when I used it. I'm love my Dewott! Taught it Scald, and it knows Revenge, Fury Cutter, and Focus Energy. Might have it learn a different Status move, but it'll learn Encore. Normally don't care for Encore, at all. However, Revenge requires an attack to wipe out the competition!
  9. Man, my sensory perception is sensitive. I'm a visual learner, but when I'm driving, I can not talk to anyone or else my driving gets sloppy.

      「Advent Chaos」

It's quite unfortunate, multi-tasking is horrible affair for me, where attention to detail is important I can not have many processes running in my head, otherwise nothing gets done. I'm pretty lame.

Are you calling me a woman?

You know the "only women can multi-task" thing is untruthful propaganda on women's part in order to make them look less inferior, right?

  10. I'm at the fifth city "Drift-something" and the Pokedex says I've only seen a third of the new Pokemon. Most have been because of Gym battles, but what didn't help was that the second gym was just a glorified basic trainer battle. Perhaps it's because I'm not impressed with a lot of the new Pokemon. I mean, there are still a few good ones, but at the same time a lot of them come off as clones of previous Pokemon. Another part of me knows that now we have 649 Pokemon, but for the majority of the game, you have 153.
  11. I died of dysentery at the ripe ol' age of nine years-old. Person below me is getting a Nintendo 3DS!
  12. Recently, it was Killzone 3's ending. In spoiler tags in case you still haven't gotten around to it.
  13. I have to agree with the GameTrailers review that it gets stale seeing all the same Pokemon for the majority of the game. Like, imagine if in Gen I that most trainers kept raising Rattata, Caterpie, and Nidoran (M/F). While I think in theory that prolonging evolution in most of the new Pokemon lengthens the experience, it also keeps the same Pokemon another as well. Heck, I thought by just including the new ones that it would give players a chance to know an entire generation better. Well, you know, if Pokemon didn't constantly use the image of much older (and cooler) Pokemon, I wouldn't mind. That giant Pikachu in the amusement park was taunting me! Know I'm missing Pikachu, Squirtle, and pretty much a lot of Gen I-II, with some III and a few IV.
  14. I'm not anti-social, but I am shy. I would say I know 80% of my neighbors in the complex AND across the street. Today, I have someone say, "Wait a minute, are you someone new? What? You've been here since August? Did you go to such and such, etc and etc?"

    1. Enervation

      Enervation

Just reply: "I was not informed that I would be having... ssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss... guests." And then smile at them.

    2. WTF

      WTF

You should move to London :P, unless you're in Camden it's pretty much the capital of shyness. Most people do not know their neighbours here (or care for that matter).

  15. I've heard people, in large agreement, say that is acceptable; in that you once purchased the game, but by being unable to currently play, you've payed your dues and can pirate it. Take for example when I use to play emulated games on my PSP. Obviously I was going to be mainly playing games I once [had for me] purchased, like Banjo-Kazooie. It wasn't commercial available, and I once had the physical copy. Of course, the thing ran like sludge on the PSP, but it's (in essence) the same concept.
  16. Positive reviews that get their facts confused/contorted. Like, everyone is going to harp on a bad review if it's full of terrible lies, like that one for Toy Story 3 from a Chicago newspaper where the reviewer said Ham was a villan, and etc. With a positive review, it makes the review lose its credibility. So, if I ever have to convince someone with another opinion rather than my own, it's also a reflection on my taste. "That reviewer said that it did this, but it didn't... you listen to this guy?!"
  17. Barely, but I have at least one real time. Once I annoyed my father to a point that me and him went to a river, just a pole, and stood there for a few minutes. I'm always jealous of when my sister goes on fishing trips with her husband. I mean, I'm always busy with something to where I can't go with them. Person below me doesn't like monkeys!
  18. Nah, you didn't make it out like that at all. I'm saying, for his response, it could only be considered a powerful retaliation/rejection if Sony was desperate for his abilities. No, instead this is like rejecting a job offer at Kraft because your favorite food product has been discontinued. "While I am grateful for your offer in a highly beneficial career opportunity, I stand by my opinion that discontinuing SpongeBob SquarePants Mac N Cheese was a severely fatal error."
  19. I'm PokePoop'd! Building teams, looking up the type advatages since, excuse me for forgeting about all 17 types!

    1. Mal

      Mal

      Wait... what!? 17 types!?

  20. Alright, you can find the Name Rater in Castelia City. However, if you want the original Pokemon name, I'm not sure if it'll work. I'm worried that the game will think the Pokemon name is the nickname. As such, I decided to name my Dewott "Jackie." You know, because the final evolution is Samurott, which is like Samurai. There was... Samurai Jack, and...
  21. I didn't realize you could hit OK and have the original name if you accidently pushed "Yes" for nicknames. I was impatient and so my Oshawott/Dewott has been named, "Watter."
  22. I'll say what I wanted to say last night, but for a far better reason I decided to get some rest so I could at least have my sentences be coherent. I highly doubt Sony, as a whole, was taken aback by what the guy said in his email. They reached out to him because they thought he could be of some use. It was an offered opportunity, not a desperate plea of salvation. They're just going to find someone else, no skin off their backs. Does he personally know Geohot? Has he been in contact with him, ever? Shook his hand and kissed his ass? I'm sorry, but denying yourself of such an amazing opportuniy because of a little e-pride over something that, what looks to be, a short-lived scurmish between a massive corporation and some ass is pathetic. I hope finacial trouble doesn't come his way, or really, would that little defense of another hacker been worth your life?
  23. On bro-in-law comp. It's new, and as such I am using IE... I'm scared.

  24. I kinda want to use Victini in my team, and I know he's a legendary, but so far I haven't come across any good Fire-types. Like, I do have Pansear, but he still only know Incinerate as his Fire-type move. All his other moves are Rock Smash, Fury Swipes, and Yawn. I guess I could go find Darumaka on Route 4. Just read his White description: Darumaka's droppings are hot, so people used to put them in their clothes to keep themselves warm. Still, Fire and Psychic is where I'm lacking. Dewott is a strong Water-type; Audino is a tank of a Normal-type; Pidove is Normal-Flying, but I love the stats and Big Peck ability; Roggenrolla, a Rock-type, has been really handy with Mud Slap, Harden (Iron Defense at lvl 20), and Rock Blast; Blitzle, again, I almost gave up on (low Defense), but that Flame Charge has saved him.
