It was disappointing, but there were still a few good moments. It's simply not enough to compete at E3. It's worth noting that Sony (maybe Microsoft) gave nerds out there long forgotten boner fuel. I guarantee someone out there is just staring at a still of Cloud Strife's back. EDIT: Screw that new Metroid game too.

Anyone going to see Jurassic World? I will be next week, but I see mixed opinions on it right now. I actually like the idea of trained raptors, but it appears to be a sore subject with others.

The feathers thing is addressed in the film, albeit with a single line. Essentially, none of their dinosaurs are "pure" recreations and it's part intentional too.
Either way, not a great film.

I don't have much of an opinion on vaping as the reasons for and the method of vaping seem to vary greatly on a personal basis. Some want to have a cigarette alternative; some want a different method of smoking weed; others purely like the process and technology of vapors. I've seen people carry around smartphone-sized "vaporizers" and can't imagine they're satisfied with that device. If you don't have a purse, you're using a whole pocket to carry that type around. Use to know a few guys that would run off to Colorado and get, and forgive my ignorance, some type of weed mixture. Always came off to me as asinine and expensive to go through the trouble to vape it. Otherwise, have at it. Well, so long as you're not going to make a scene on an airplane. You can go through the checklist of how vaping is different from smoking, but generally most people don't care to sit next to someone who's exhaling something outside of carbon dioxide.

I always liked Roy in Melee, but I can't help but feel we already have enough Fire Emblem characters.

I went Mote crazy one day trying to reroll some of my new weapons. I spent all my Shards and Energy to get Motes right away, but now I'm looking for Energy for a few weapons. The Speaker makes it an even trade plus 50 Glimmer. If you want a Mote of Light, that's worth 2 Shards. Not worth it unless you were really desperate because Motes drop way more often with House of Wolves.

I don't know if the raids still, since I still have never raided. I get mine through the Daily Heroic, but I'm pretty sure it has to be a pre-HoW mission for the chance at ascendant mats. The HoW missions will give you Motes of Light.

I tried running the Level 32 solo with my Hunter I got to 34 after Iron Banner (using second character for a third Etheric Light). Got past the Cabal in the first chamber. I loathe that enemy type in all honesty, but I made it. Second chamber was the Fallen, but the Modifier was Lightswitch. Guess how long I lasted...

It's a very popular PvP choice after its buff from long ago. Mainly, the DoT is satisfying on a Hand Cannon because when an enemy runs off and they still have a sliver of health left, it finishes the job. Also an easy way of earning Postmortem. Hawkmoon is still a good choice (on Playstation), but unless you're getting and landing those lucky shots, Thorn is the next best Hand Cannon. P.S. I don't know if someone still has it floating out there, but it was leaked on the subreddit that The Taken King is releasing Sept 15 and will introduce the remaining third subclass. The mods asked for proof, guy PM'd them proof, the mods were shocked and could only say it was legit. So legit that it's no longer posted on the subreddit. Ethan, if you ever wanted to try Prison of Elders, I've never done the higher levels. I'm not thrilled about LFG stuff, so still have never done the raids. Don't have many gamer friends either, so there's that too.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention I got this game too! I've been wanting to finish up a few things in Destiny before tackling Splatoon. I hear there are already a few updates to the game too. Hell if I'm going to get any of the Amiibo figures.

I do believe one of the reasons why I didn't end up putting as much time into Fallout 3 as I did Skyrim is because of the color palette and tones. It also didn't help that at first I was getting lost during a few side quests, thus staring at 50 shades of brown while trying to find someone.

Really just comes down to how you play as a Hunter. I prefer to be a Bladedancer, but as a Gunslinger you'll have class perks that will affect a weapon's stats. You'll have to see which class suits you, then determine what you want to focus on. Of course, you might have to change which perks you use for different missions and strikes. Just stay away from Auto Rifles. Don't waste your time and glimmer on them as they're not as good as they use to be for both PvE and PvP. You might get lucky and have one with good perks, but Pulse Rifles can easily eclipse what usefulness Auto Rifles might have, which is ironic since Pulse Rifles use to be awful. I'm a Hand Cannon guy myself. I've wasted so much time and resources perfecting the hand cannons I come across, mainly because I don't want to keep relying on the Exotic Hand Cannons. They're all great though, so it's hard to quit those beautiful bastards.

If you wanted to get back in, just House of Wolves. The base game received some improvements, but what everyone is raving about now is the content in the HoW expansion. The only skinner box present is the one you can impose on yourself with Reforging and trying to level up all the Legendary weapons (which drop more frequently) as soon as possible. Also you can buy all the Faction weapons and Reforge those to your preferred perks. Before half the weapons were RNG with random perks.

That's the Catch-22. I was at a point during Dark Below where I didn't have the armor fully leveled up. Being at Lv. 30, you could do almost everything, so I never forced myself to gain 30 more shards to get up to the higher levels I use to be once. Now we have the means to raise our old armor to the newest number, but you can only do that if you have fully leveled armor that can get you in and do well in the more difficult Prison of Elders.

There's hardly a grind now given that you can also purchase telemetries from the Gunsmith. As long as you're happy with the perks you've rolled, some PvE or PvP and you've got the weapon nearly fully leveled in a day. You'll need Etheric Light to Ascend to the new damage output, but you're probably going to be playing Prison of Elders because of how much fun it is anyway. I wouldn't say everyone has the same weapons right now, not to mention it's pure luck in Reforging if you're wanting a very specific set of perks for your weapon. I spent 30 Motes of Light just to get The Revelator with Outlaw and Zen Moment. I began dismantling some old armor (to convert to Motes of Light through the Speaker) because at this point I can't be ass'd with finding Ascendant Shards for old armor when the new armor doesn't require them. I'm still keeping my Ascendant Energy because I have some amazing old weapons that I've never bothered to fully level. I'm just hoping one day Bungie buffs Auto Rifles a little (after the nerfing) because my Grim Citizen III use to tear apart enemies. The reload on it is lightning fast if I use gauntlets with the weapon reload perk.

I haven't done the strike yet, but everything that has been include in House of Wolves has blown away the entirety of The Dark Below immensely with sheer enjoyment and quality. Getting a HoW weapon is pure bliss and you can go crazy spending Motes of Light to reforge the perfect perk set for your weapon. The new characters have, get this, actual character to them! Variks is voiced by Dee Bradley Baker, similar voice to (I forget) a character from Ben 10. I haven't bothered with Trials of Osiris because 1) Random teammates will only lead to frustration, and 2) even with friends, there's bound to be some "MLGskillz" team to screw over your winning streak. That or a trio of Gunslinger Hunters.

Markiplier is more watchable than PewDiePie of what I've watched of him. This is going off of personal experience of watching a good sizable portion of their content in the past (PewDiePie) and relative present (Markiplier). I'm subscribed to Game Grumps and Super Best Friends (formally Two Best Friends). However, I rarely watch Game Grumps and I find the banter of friendship between the "Zaibatsu" more entertaining. I just can't always be ass'd to watch 40 minutes videos.

Yeah, the look on my face when I got a HoW's legendary shotgun last night and saw the skill tree. Cool new perks and no need to upgrade four nodes at the end for damage.
