Infamous: Second Son Not sure where I would rank this among the first two games. Loved the first game's story and I've always loved the idea of having electric powers, but the first game was rough around the edges too. The second improved on a lot of the movement and traveling throughout an open world as Cole, and the story was alright too. I don't know if it's because I felt like I rushed through the game a bit, or may it didn't have that much variety throughout the open world. Ironic considering at the end of it all you gain four Conduit powers... However, they almost play the same function. It was a bit disappointing in how you couldn't switch between powers on the fly, instead having to find a source for the power to switch. I didn't care too much for the acquaintance characters, though Fetch was definitely most notable versus "escaped convict" Hank and "geek-gamer" Eugene. Really, all-in-all I didn't connect to anyone in this game, especially Betty and the Akomish which was the whole reason behind bursting into Seattle and stirring a fire under Augustine's butt. I guess what I would say is that while this is a fun and good game, is seemed more focus on being flashy and incorporating features of the PS4 rather than making it a bigger and better successor because of the capability of next-gen. The powers themselves almost seem like they were chosen for the chance to show off particle effects and lighting. Let me tell you, sometimes the lighting goes insane with all the powers flying every which way. Otherwise, besides a few frustrating enemy types, it played just fine. If I had the time, I think I could 100% the Trophy List like I did the previous game.

I'm still willing to buy PS3 games as I made just enough room on my current crappy entertainment stand. I'm a bit worried as how Walking Dead Season 3 will play now, but it wouldn't be the worst thing to play S1 and S2 over again on PC. Just, if there's an option for PS4, I've got to go for it!

That Planet View is awesome. If I was on my desktop right now I'd try exploring a bit more, but it's a bit sluggish on my Chromebook right now. As for the CoD pre-order thing... Eh, it's nothing really new and I don't get why I should get a bit upset over what appears to be only a color shader for whatever armor you wear on your character. Nothing too fancy to wow me over, unlike say an exclusive mission or massive bonuses that put you ahead of other players. I'm already getting crap like that on my PS4 copy because PlayStation.

Well, I thought I would use it as a personal training bot, and if I'm over at a friend's place we could do a team match with a partner Amiibo. We could even have the Amiibo figures fight it out and see who's would come out on top. Hell if I'm buying the whole lot; just one to test the waters if anything. Also, there might be a character I'd like as a Main, but might not be able to master. It could be, again, a great custom AI partner if this technology is actually as advertised. EDIT: Realized my previous comment sounded like I was getting a few of the current set. Nah, if they were to offer the whole roster as Amiibo figures, I could see myself with a few. Out of all those available, I'm thinking I'd try Link and that's it.

I mean, it's rare, but I did once have a roommate who let a girl or two just sleep in his bed. I didn't pry further, but with how small the beds were in our apartment, there had to be at least some spooning.

I only get a Collector's/Limited if I like the bonuses in it. I've become a bit more discerning to the extras included, whether they're physical vs. digital; a temporary or a permanent item. I doubt Destiny will become the biggest upset to gaming promotion and expectations, but generally I agree too that I wouldn't get an expensive edition for a brand new IP (i.e. The Order 1886). Oh, but I've got a price limit too, so no Ghost Edition for me.

Renewed my Netflix tonight: Bojack better live up to the hype, Mister Jack!

What edition do you guys have pre-ordered? I didn't know if I would have a PS4 by the time Destiny was out, so I didn't bother pre-ordering a long time ago. I wanted to have the Limited Edition, but it looks like that is probably gone for good. There's that Digital Guardian (or whatever) edition too if you go digital distribution. Anyway, I have the Standard game on pre-order as that's really the only physical edition you can find as of late. I've signed up for notifications just in case the Limited Edition becomes available again.

So two things: Shulk was officially announced yesterday, so all the leaks are probably true at this point. Last, the first set of Super Smash Bros. Amiibo figures are available for pre-order on Amazon. Each figure is priced at $12.99, so basically standard Skylanders figure price. The most popular figure so far is Link, but you have a range of other classic Nintendo characters. Here's Link and other Amiibo figures: http://amzn.com/B00N4ABVOM Would have liked Luigi, but I'm only getting a few Amiibo figures as they'll act as training and support characters.

Oh, I haven't had time to jump back into Mario Kart 8. Just finished up Crown of the Old Iron King DLC for Dark Souls 2 last night and I'll probably get back to Infamous: Second Son soon.

The Circle Pad Pro, which I believe is still a Japan-only item, has a properly sized circle pad. Maybe Nintendo will understand not everyone is up to buying a third 3DS and launch a revised Circle Pad Pro (factoring in the additional shoulder buttons) for the international market. Wouldn't solve the CPU difference, but from the looks of thinks it seems more like a system performance upgrade than for games.

I really don't know what to think about all this, though obviously I'm a little flustered at the prospect of exclusive games. Having already own a 3DS XL when I had an original 3DS too, I don't think I'll ever want to buy another 3DS. Hell, I haven't even sold off my old 3DS yet (and maybe it won't sell as well now). This does seem similar to the DSi in the Nintendo DS system line, but a lot of people were able to get by without "upgrading" to that version of the DS. I think games would be able to bypass the new C stick (which looks horrible) just as they've always done, but the additional shoulder buttons (ZL and ZR) look like an impossibility where the only way to bypass them is to not have your game originally use them. Otherwise I think we can get by without integrated NFC and wider 3D viewing, though the latter is niffy, but not essential IMO.

I bought the double pack and decided to download the Mercedes DLC. I dunno... it was free DLC. There's something alluring to FREE that I'm willing to see what the cars are like in-game.

Eh, I replayed it. Did the same thing for Season 1, so nothing out of the ordinary. Honestly, it feels better to me.

In comparison to the others, it feels like the worst.

I just finished the final episode of Season 2... Ugh, Telltale really can smash your emotions on the floor and laugh. It was rough in comparison to Episode 5 of Season 1. With that episode, your main objective was getting Clem and getting out and everyone agreed with the plan. In this episode... Before I go further, I think because I played the game so early, the game wouldn't show me my choices and the percentage. I guess I'll let the numbers add up, but I would like to see what the major choices were for this episodes. Anyway, on to the big final choice... I'm not too sure what to say about the very ending. I actually walked away for a moment during the credits so I'm not sure if there was a post-credits scene. Just, it's a little odd and doesn't feel like the ending to Season 1. It's almost like we should have another episode rather than season after this one. Maybe there will be DLC expanding on you-know-who. EDIT: Oh, and you damn well know my favorite part of the episode was... EDIT AGAIN: I just found out this episode has multiple endings and I'm damn well going to play the last part out. The ending I got is just so anticlimactic and off-putting.

Ah, but think of how many people would like to play against him!

Figured a few of us would get a chuckle out of it.

I think I've seen the manager before, but who knows if it's still the same guy now or if he was ever good at his job. They have this older lady who seems to do well, but even then she didn't show up until the very end (maybe on break) and even she didn't know about the Sony Weekend Sale and the PS4 bonuses.

So I got a PS4 because the GameStop deal was too good to pass, but it was like pulling teeth to buy it today. Not hating on the whole company, but the GameStop in town has been pretty bad each time I've gone in for anything. Last time I was in my GameStop I was buying Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance on PS3 because you'd receive a nice little artbook. The whole time they were selling the game, turns out they forgot to give away the artbook too until I mentioned it. I called in advance today to make sure they had PS4s so I didn't have to face a Saturday afternoon crowd and come out empty-handed. I ask about the console, but also make sure they're still running the sale as sometimes different stores have different sales runtime. They say it's probably over, but I tell them it was suppose to last until the 24th. They find their sales ad and say I'm correct and they weren't originally sure because they didn't find their sales ad until that moment Deja Vu Get in the store and there's a huge ass line. Not a big deal to me because I had hours to spare on my day off, but I'm sure some of the customers with a game in hand were frustrated at the slow pace. I've faced the same situation in a similar job, so I knew "the feel" for the employee. When I do get up, I ask for a PS4 and the guy quickly grabs one. So I ask if the download code for Infamous will be on the receipt along with one for the 3 months of PlayStation Plus. Guy gives me a confused look, so I point out what I'm suppose to get with the sale. He pulls a subscription card off the shelf and tries to ring me out for a PS4 and PlayStation Plus card. "Uh, sales taxes shouldn't add up to an additional $45. I don't think a physical card is part of the deal, so it must all print a code on the receipt." Yet, the guy doesn't want to believe that, so even though the physical paper sales ad in front of him says Infamous is a digital download, he pulls out a physical copy of the game and tries to ring me out for the game as well. I give him a look that says "I'm not paying for it..." and so he says he'll research it. So minutes pass as his line gets a bit longer and he realizes I was correct. "Oh, it is just a code on the receipt."

I'll be playing Infamous: Second Son once it finishes downloading on my new PS4. Really excited as I do love me some Infamous!

If you see me on your Friends List while playing on PlayStation, know that it's because I've become the proud owner of a PS4.

Well, it's like what Zaheer said...

Someone even pointed out how her character has a picture in one of the newspapers, though I'm not sure which episode. She seems to be getting too much attention if she were only suppose to be a minor. As such, people are on the "Red Lotus" train just as they did with Su and Opal. Anywho, I guess people got what they wanted. I don't want to get into too much into detail, as trust me I could, but one thing I'd stress that was so fantastic about the finale was:
