  1. I liked Invisible War, but then I never played the first one. I tried once when I got it on a Steam sale, but I didn't feel the interface/gameplay aged well at all.
  2. That's even ignoring the fact that Eidos Montreal isn't the original developer of the series anyway, so there's no reason why a different dev couldn't take on a sequel.
  3. Oh, I figured he was quoting comments from somewhere, and that one just stood out to me for some reason.
  4. Yes, Sony, you should develop games for your competitor, because that would be an entirely reasonable business strategy.
  5. Doesn't this not come out for a week and a half? First Remember Me, now this game, are review embargoes a thing of the past? Mind = blown.
  6. Okay, now I have a second reason to be excited for E3.
  7. Halo: Anniversary was $60 IIRC, but it (and also this Fable) are more than HD upscales, they completely redid all the models and textures and everything. The Sony one's I've seen are just the original game unchanged but rendered at HD resolutions.
  8. I think it would probably hold up fairly well. Assuming it's actually a 360 port I will probably get it. If it's for the Xbone then no fucking way.
  9. That's how I am with movies. People say I need to be more discerning, but I say I get to enjoy a bunch of stuff that they don't, so there.
  10. I suggest the Hatchet Order for viewing. It's a different way to watch the movies, if nothing else.
  11. Good episode, but I don't understand the relevance.
  12. There are only 4 memory sequences? Those were the only things about the game I was remotely interested in.
  13. I "liked" this BUT YOU CAN'T SEE IT!
  14. They had that tech demo with that Heavy Rain actress before Heavy Rain came out, so I'm just hopeful. Also, I'm confused what it has to do with Juno.
  15. Wishlist (in no particular order, some may be more realistic than others): Microsoft Just kidding, no connection required, no used game DRM! Just kidding, Kinect isn't required either! Viva Pinata 3 Good-looking new IPs Sony The Last Guardian, Fall 2013 on PS3 PS4 Quantic Dream game based on the world of that android tech demo Good-looking new IPs Nintendo New 3D Mario (as in, not Galaxy 3, as good as Galaxies 1 and 2 were), Fall 2013 on Wii U Wii U Legend of Zelda, Fall 2014 (I want to wish for 2013, but then it would be rushed and I don't want that) Wii U Mario Kart, Fall 2013 Wii U Smash Bros, Fall 2013 Wii U Ambassador program Good-looking new IPs Third Parties GTAV on PC day-and-date with consoles, actually a good port RDR on PC Mirror's Edge 2 confirmed (I want to say Fall 2013, but it feels more like a Spring 2014 game) Dishonored sequel Confirmation that the PC version of Watch Dogs will be the "enhanced" next gen version, not the current-gen version. Good-looking new IPs I'm sure I'll think of more and will update accordingly.
  16. I agree wholeheartedly, Wally, I was just offering a thought as to why the Xbone might be more expensive.
  17. Even if it is included the Kinect has all that IR gear that the new Eye doesn't have, which would probably make it more expensive. Also it's my understanding that Kinect has a bunch of processing built into it, while the Eye is basically just two webcams. I could be wrong about that though.
  18. I got that, just also went off on a tangent from it.
  19. EA also retroactively removed online passes from (all of?) their games, which is actually really cool. Probably irritated a few people who'd just bought a pass the day before though.
  20. I want to clarify two things: 1: I don't judge games off of just review scores (unless it's consistently getting like 5 or less, which this isn't). 2: My statement that anything below 7 is bad was intended merely as an observation of the way sites use scores, not as any kind of statement as to the way things should be.
  21. Sigh... and that kind of attitude is exactly why we have inflated scores in the first place. Seriously, anything below 7 is bad? What the hell? It's not like a numerical score alone means much... I'm just judging based on my past experience. It's not like it's my fault game sites have gravitated toward using a 7 as average.
