I've heard that the XL makes the 3D sweet-spot bigger and so it's a lot more comfortable to use in 3D.

I want someone to figure out a way to get the tablet connected to a PC, and use it to play games. That would be fan-fucking-tastic.

I hate when they do that. I never got to take the Aircraft and Missile Propulsion class that I really wanted to because it was only offered in the fall semester of odd years, and the first time around I didn't have the prerequisites I needed and the second I had already graduated.

I think even calling it 7.5 is generous. It's more like 7.2. The tablet is pretty much its only selling point (beyond the obvious Nintendo exclusives), but it's a pretty damn good selling point. Off-TV play is amazing (though the PS4 looks like it will support that via Vita for all its games too). *Edit* - I agree with TFG that you should only get it if you like Nintendo's games. It's going to be far behind PS4/720 in terms of hardware, so I imagine it will be like the Wii and not really get the multiplats. It's a supplemental thing, it can't be the primary one.

In fact the App Store seems to demonstrate that they're actively hostile to games, and especially games any more serious than Fuzzy Rainbow Princess Kingdom.

I agree, I like how it was actually done better, just that was my thought at the time.

Some of the things I read mentioned Bioshock when discussing the thematic nature of this game. Bioshock has always been a game I really WANT to like, because from what I've played the atmosphere is fantastic, but I never liked how it played. I'm planning to try again on the easiest difficulty to see if that will mitigate the problem (the problem wasn't that the game was too hard, but perhaps on easy the feel of the play won't bother me as much because it won't be as important). Having reflected (hey, look, it's exactly an hour later!) and read some thoughts of other people, I've decided I like it. Or think it was "good", or whatever. That was my initial reaction, but there was one aspect that left me unsatisfied that made me have to think about it more: Also, reading about it has convinced me to try Bioshock again. For the third time. Somehow I've managed to make it 5 1/2 years without really spoiling that game, though I have no idea how.

Yes, because that's such a niche market.

Spec Ops: The Line. I'm going to have to reflect on this before forming an opinion. As far as just judging it as a game though, it was decent. I've certainly played worse shooters.

I enjoyed it, though I thought the end was rather anticlimactic.

It's really polarizing. It seems like people either love it and all the side stuff, or hate it cause they think it's so bloated.

My first car was a 1995 Pontiac Bonneville named the Green Dragon. Though it just occurred to me that it was newer then than my current car is now... Anyway, I play on consoles too, but it's more of a "I don't have a choice for certain games" kind of thing. Though a large part of that is that this generation's so old that it's not hard to have a PC that can do better than the consoles, and I have more disposable income now so the prospect of upgrading isn't as daunting.

Way to make me feel stupid! No but seriously, I was already planning to get this game, I've just been waiting until the PC version becomes available (boxed, I don't preorder digital downloads).

That'll happen about the same time people stop arguing whether Fords or Chevys are better.

Remember Me had trouble finding a publisher because apparently you can't have female characters in games. Le sigh. That kind of makes me want to go ahead and preorder the game right now. *Edit* - Except the PC version doesn't seem to be available anywhere yet.

I agree, because everyone will see the superiority of PC and move to that... That is what you meant, right?

They claimed it wasn't supposed to be publicly released, but it was stupid of everyone to backpedal because the source of the footage was the developers themselves showing it on GTTV. If you don't want people to see it why did you fucking show it on GTTV? *Edit* - Or was it IGN? It was something like that.
