  1. I cannot bring myself to pay more than like $35 for jeans. I just can't.
  2. Oh yeah, forgot about that. Other point still applies though.
  3. Cause that would require getting a bluetooth adapter for the PC. And while I can't speak for him I prefer the 360 controller over the DS3, so I'd choose it anyway.
  4. What in the world is that even an ad for?
  5. What was Disney right about?
  6. Yeah, I'm not as good as him, but I did all the speedrun achievements and I think if you added them all together my time was something like an hour and a half. Obviously that was after I'd already played the crap out of the game.
  7. The uploader has not made this video available in my country.
  8. Yeah, I always thought it was a football reference too until I was watching some documentary about idioms a few years ago.
  9. Did they patch ME2 so it can accept the imported save?
  10. Oh yeah, I was thinking wait until it's a daily deal, and if it's not a daily deal before Christmas then just buy it that morning.
  11. Buy the gift on Steam, wait until Christmas morning to actually send it to him, write "Hitman" on a rock, put it in a box, wrap that and give it to him.
  12. Suggested price of $10, but you can spend as much or as little as you want (on the "little" side it should probably at the least be something on their wishlist).
  13. Does the lightrifle actually do more damage scoped? I know it always uses 3 rounds when you fire, but I thought the difference was that if you're scoped it combines all 3 into one super round, whereas un-scoped it rapidly fires 3 smaller rounds like the battle rifle, but that the total damage was the same (assuming all 3 rounds hit).
  14. Another thing I've read is that people who have lived paycheck-to-paycheck their whole life often are almost psychologically incapable of saving their money (you can debate whether that's a cause or an effect) so when they win the lottery they continue with their previous practice of spending every penny they possibly can and end up bankrupt after 5 years. To put it in a perspective that I'm sure everyone here (at least all the US residents) are familiar with from at least someone in their life: the family that can barely make ends meet, are always in debt and can never afford any luxuries, when tax season comes around they don't use their $800 refund to pay off their credit cards or save it for when something bad happens, they go out and buy a 50-inch TV instead.
  15. Well, depending on how much you win it'd be pretty damn hard to spend all of it without really really trying. If you win $100 million even if you live for 100 years and never earn any interest on it you'd still be able to spend $1 million a year. Sure if you're buying islands and shit you could eat through it, but if you're just like "I want an awesome house and a badass game setup" you're not even going to make a dent.
  16. To the extent they have a weak spot yes, it's their face. On Legendary they're much much weaker to short range weapons like the scattershot and assault rifle than they are to long range weapons like the lightrifle and DMR. *Edit* - Also, always always ALWAYS take out those flying fuckers first. Not only do they put up shields in front of your target, but they will actually resurrect enemies you've already killed.
  17. In his defense Steam support is notoriously bad.
  18. Yeah, from the reviews I saw they were basically saying that if you liked Far Cry 2 you'll like Far Cry 3, and even if you didn't like Far Cry 2 you'll still probably like Far Cry 3.
  19. Sucks that you've had a bad experience with Steam like that. How'd you get locked out for so long?
  20. Perfect use for the save-state: Find out what the winning mega-millions number will be. Reload, and buy that number. Do whatever you want for the rest of forever.
  21. IRL quicksave. Even better would be unlimited save slots.
  22. I thought it was until near the end of the trailer. Until that point it just screamed "not a real movie" in a lot of subtle ways. Like the complete lack of background music.
