  1. Guys! I think LP has discovered our secret weakness: that we like boobs!
  2. It seems to stay up. I don't know if they'll stay up forever, but so far they have. My understanding is it's basically like DLC (though the first season comes on the disc), so once you've downloaded it you've got it for as long as you keep that storage device.
  3. They've only confirmed one season for sure, but if it's successful the intent is to follow it up with future seasons.
  4. I think they said that the console supports 2 pads? But yeah, it's clearly designed around one pad per console.
  5. Oh, you meant multiplayer. You can put the plasma pistol in your loadout as your secondary weapon.
  6. I tend to agree. I just make it a policy to tag anything anyone says are spoilers, even if it doesn't bother me personally. Err on the side of caution and all that. *Edit* - Especially when the whole thread is labelled spoilers. It'd be one thing if he'd said that 2 days after the game came out, but like he said it's been 6 months and the ending controversy kinda beat that horse to death and then some.
  7. I got my Wii U because on Saturday I was like "I'm gonna go to Walmart tomorrow morning and just see if they have any." I went when I got up at 7 AM (no alarm, I just naturally wake up that early), they had 3 Premium Wii U's and 3 Basic Wii U's, I bought one of the Premium ones and went home. I went back around 4 PM to get some stuff we needed to continue painting our house, and they only had one of the Basic Wii U's left. So it obviously sold out pretty quick, but it wasn't like I had to fight people for them. I guess one of the benefits of living in a small town. The didn't have any copies of NSMB in stock though, so I had to order that from Amazon and it should get here Wednesday (and even Amazon only had 2 left in stock when I ordered it).
  8. Yeah, I think they had an arc at the beginning of the season and an arc at the end, but in-between were just a bunch of standalone episodes.
  9. I never had trouble finding them.
  10. 3 was weak because the network made them make it more episodic instead of arc-based.... pretty sure it was 3. Having trouble finding something about it online and it's been forever since I watched them. Anyway, I'm 90% sure it was season 3, and the network made them make it more episode-based to try to be more appealing to new viewers, but that failed and they ended up just losing a significant portion of the viewerbase they already had.
  11. I liked BSG season 4. Season 3 was weak though.
  12. Oh, I missed the plus part. They have those too. Amazon has the 1-year downloadable cards, it looks like at least online Walmart only has the 3 month physical cards.
  13. http://www.amazon.co...&qid=1353291253 *Edit* - That one's "downloadable" (meaning I think they e-mail you the code), but I know Walmart carries the actual physical cards.
  14. I actually read it the same way. And as long as the Mario disc is in the console already there's nothing more complicated about it. You can turn on the Wii U from the tablet, launch the game, and start playing all without ever having to look at the TV. The process from the user's perspective isn't any different than if the tablet were a full-blown handheld on its own.
  15. Yes, so it's not completely awful.
  16. Took me about 45 minutes to download the patch. *Edit* - And yeah, 3 hours of battery for the tablet seems about right, and just as ridiculous as I thought when it was first announced.
  17. Yay for day-one updates that take 15 years to download.

  18. Yeah, when I say "small selection" I mean like one or two aisles isn't food, the rest is. Like, 90% of the store is food. Unlike Walmart where even the Super Walmarts about 2/3 - 3/4 of the store is non-food.
  19. Because I'm a tool with too little self control. Also, from Amazon because Walmart didn't have it: And finally
  20. Okay, yeah, that's an English vs. English thing. Over here "supermarket" basically means "big grocery store". They sometimes carry a small selection of non-food items, but they're always primarily a food store.
  21. I don't know what you consider a "super market" to be (to me that means grocery store, which don't tend to sell games here), but I buy close to 100% of my games from Amazon, which I wouldn't call a specialist retailer. Though a large part of that is probably that the nearest Gamestop is an hour away, and they don't offer free shipping or release date delivery for online orders like Amazon does, so they're just not nearly as convenient. When I lived in a town with a Gamestop I bought almost all my day-one games there because it was convenient to be able to go pick it up whenever I got done with class instead of waiting for the UPS guy, but I still bought pretty much all non-preorder games from Amazon.
  22. I would describe my impression of Liberation to be comparable to Revelations, but trying to be objective I don't think it was actually as good. It was fun, but I wouldn't recommend someone buy the Vita for it. Gravity Rush, on the other hand, I think justifies a Vita by itself. Fantastic game.
  23. I think what they should have done is not made the size an actual part of the console bundle name, just called it the Base and Premium packages, and then on the bullet points they could have said: 8 GB of internal storage, 3.2 GB available to the user or whatever. Then there wouldn't have been an issue. I will point out though that on Walmart's site at least in the description it says "8 GB internal memory for storage", which I feel even more heavily implies that the 8 GB is what's actually available to the user. Most of that memory isn't for storage as most people would think of it, it's for the system files.
