I went ahead and added them. Thread is labelled, but that's still about as spoilery as it gets.

This trailer was definitely my ticket to the hype train. The only reason I haven't already preordered the PS3 version is because I'm waiting on confirmation of PC or lack thereof.

Tedious != challenge. Disclaimer: I have not played this game, just talking about the idea in general.

Here's what I think (this hasn't been verified, just based on my experience): Human weapons: very effective against flesh, not very effective against shields Plasma weapons: very effective against shields, not very effective against flesh Forerunner weapons: somewhat effective against both flesh and shields, but not super effective against either, though the light rifle is still a one hit kill if you get a headshot on an unshielded opponent. *Edit* - Also, I'm not sure about Big Team Battle but in regular team slayer and I think Regicide you can hit X at any time while the kill cam is playing and you will respawn instantly, there's no spawn timer at all. But I agree, before I figured that out it seemed like a really long wait to spawn.

I don't remember who, but someone said LBPK looks like the kind of thing that will be free on PS+ in six months, and I can't help but agree.

I honestly think it should be considered false advertising to say it's 8GB when only 3 is useable.

Mass Effect 3: Cerberus is a cartoonishly powerful terrorist group. Cobra IN SPACE! I can see the evolution of the idea, but the jump from 2 to 3 is a little hard to swallow.

The word isn't "GIF", which you're right is an acronym, it's "gif" which is not (though obviously it comes from the acronym). I think that's an important distinction. It's still a stupid word though. And I have never, ever heard anyone use it as a verb.

That looks awesome. I really really hope there's a good PC version that launches at the same time as the console versions, but I fear that hope is in vain.

Probably all of that combined with the fact that you got to play the extended cut on your first playthrough. The extended cut fixed 95% of my problems with the ending.

I don't understand how they stay in business anyway, given that it's more expensive than Pizza Hut and doesn't taste as good.

That's funny, because to me "yonder" is a quintessentially hick thing to say, the opposite of literary or educated. *Edit* - And in my experience "friggin" is a playground version of "fucking". It's only a little worse than gosh/darn/heck, and comparable to "freaking".
