  1. It's not for new members only, if you buy another year during this time you get the game too. What about the other incentives though? Cause if all i'm getting is Jurassic Park I can buy that for $30 and save myself $20.
  2. So Sony is giving a free (permanent) copy of Jurassic Park: The Game to anyone who signs up or renews 1 year of Playstation Plus by the 8th. Does anyone on here have Playstation Plus? How good are the incentives?
  3. Um, it probably could be a series-wide thing, but there's a DA2 specific thread here.
  4. I am a consumer whore. That deal is so freaking tempting, even though I haven't ever really liked the Elder Scrolls games. I'll wait till a ridiculous Steam sale.
  5. I saved it in my Renegade playthrough and blew it up in my Paragon playthrough, obviously. I think in my do-whatever-the-hell-I-feel-like playthrough I saved it, but I don't remember for sure. I think though that I decided the risk was worth it if it could tell us something that might stop the Reapers from wiping out all life in the galaxy. Worse case scenario is the same result anyway, so whatever.
  6. Why did you buy three copies? *Edit* - oops, didn't see TFG's post.
  7. At least in the US on Steam it's only 45 cents more expensive than Amazon.
  8. One reason not to buy it on Steam is that then you can have an actual disc/box/etc, so the existence of your game is not entirely dependent upon servers that Steam controls.
  9. Well, at least it's truer role-play this way. Shepard didn't know Cerberus would turn on him in the future, so he shouldn't have been acting based on that information.
  10. I can't say for sure that it's definitely always possible, but I've never not been able to get my paragon or renegade score high enough. One thing though is that I always get the skill that increases your paragon/renegade points by percentages (I think the top tier doubles them), so that might be necessary.
  11. I think I saw something about it on RPS a while ago. It looks like 3D Dot Game Heroes meets a twin stick shooter.
  12. Oh, I did have it crap out once last year when Steam was supposed to be installing an update. Pissed me off cause I couldn't play any of my games for like two days while my ISP got its shit together. Just bad timing though, usually it works right.
  13. Trick or treating is a kids thing here too. For adults it's either just putting up decorations and handing out candy to trick or treating kids, or going to a costume party, or just watching a horror movie marathon, or some combination.
  14. Yeah, that's a creeper. And Battra, you're a party pooper. *Edit* - Christians don't like it because it's a celebration of evil things like witches and demons, etc.
  15. It appears we don't have one of these, so I'm making it. Here's a pumpkin I carved today. I know it's unoriginal, but I'm proud of it anyway damnit! And behind the spoiler tags one of it in the light:
  16. Okay, I can't seem to find 3 games I want, which is sad. (Okay, I can, but I want them on PC so...) I'm such a consumer whore. I buy almost every game I want right when I want it, but then when a good sale like this comes around I feel like I *need* to buy something... #firstworldproblems?
  17. Air conditioning is standard depending on where you live. For instance here in Kansas it's pretty damn standard, but then again it gets pretty warm here in the summer. You don't want to live somewhere where the high temperatures top 105 F (40 C) for weeks at a time without an air conditioner. You will die (and people do when their air conditioners break). Yeah, that's definitely a problem here too.
  18. Amazon's having a buy 2 get 1 free sale on, as near as I can tell, every single console game they carry (not counting preorders). So yeah, pretty fucking badass. Too bad it doesn't apply to PC games. *Edit* - Okay, it's not all the games, it doesn't apply to Battlefield 3, so I'm sure there are others. However, it still applies to about 160 360 games, 150 PS3 games, 250 Wii games, 40 3DS games and 230 DS games.
  19. I've had bad luck with OCZ RAM also. Maybe we should amend that to "don't ever buy anything from OCZ"
  20. Topic title says it all. I'd like to try to get a feel for how many people we'll have available for campaign coop as well as the competitive multi. Oh, and apparently there's been some confusion about this, but Anniversary only supports 2-player coop just like Halo did when it first launched, though it does work over Live now. Gametrailers even said something about coop of any kind being an added feature that didn't exist in the original version. Anyway, who's getting it at launch or reasonably soon thereafter? *Edit* - Launch is November 15.
  21. So I launched Origin for some reason, and noticed I have a giant blue box telling me I have no friends. Now, even though I'm sure nobody has very many games on Origin yet (I'm guessing all anyone has is Battlefield 3), I still thought it would be a good idea to share our IDs just in case. Mine is TheMightyEthan.
  22. At least you can swim in GTAIV. In 3 you would have been completely SOL.
  23. I didn't think this lived up to its potential. Your choices had basically no effect until the ending cutscene. Lead to some pretty serious ludonarrative dissonance.
