My take: this picture tells us absolutely nothing meaningful, and is just empty hype-building. It's cool looking, though.
-
Does it need to be an ATI card? *Edit - Yes, it can be a hassle. Can You Run It makes it easier though. Also, as a general rule (doesn't apply anywhere near all the time) a bigger number in the card name means it's better, but that only works comparing within the same brand.

I'm curious why you seem convinced that somehow a character's relevance/the quality of their games is related to whether or not the publisher owns the platform. I'm not trying to be argumentative, I actually would like to know what you base that on.
-
Like I said before, I'd heard the skill system was revamped to give it more depth, but I was still skeptical of how well they'd do. There's a difference between reading about something and actually seeing a picture of it.
-
I thought it was made up for the film at first, until the next November 5th rolled around and people wrote stuff on the sidewalk about it (I was at university at the time) and so I looked into it.
-
Nah, I think I'll keep it. I got it for 35% off, and I don't know that I'm going to want to wait until its price drops below that level again.
-
Oh, guess I can't cancel. Green Man Gaming treats a preorder as a purchase right then and there, so I'm stuck with it. Oh well. Maybe I'll write them a strongly worded letter...
-
They delayed it again? /ponders cancelling his preorder altogether and waiting until it's $5 in a Steam sale...
-
For me it would almost be worth it even if the only change they'd made was adding 16x9 support. I freaking hate playing games with the picture stretched, but if I don't stretch it the black bars on the side make me feel like I have blinders on.
-
The ability to use Paypal makes me more likely to try IntKeys. None of the deals are good enough to entice me right now though.
-
Yeah, I think generally tiered health is a good compromise between old-style health bars and complete regen.
-
Why don't you like making custom characters?
-
My wife is really excited for this one too. Luckily for me, though, she likes to see someone else play through the game first so that she doesn't get stuck and frustrated. So I get to play through it as soon as it's out without having to fight for TV time.

I have like 10 Shepards, none of whom are named John or Jane. I don't think I left any of them the default appearance either, though I might have one maleshep who looks the default.
-
Yeah, I didn't include that one cause I wasn't 100% sure what I was looking at, but that is certainly what it seems to be.
-
These two things make me happy. Looks like they've added more depth back into the leveling system (I know they'd already said they were, but I was a little skeptical). They probably aren't happy about this leak, but honestly the info that's come out of it has only made me feel better about the direction they're going after ME2. It may end up being a good thing for them.

Started playing Borderlands today.

Yeah, I would assume that you still have control over difficulty separately, at least in Action and RPG modes.
-
I live 10 miles from Arkansas City, and it being located in Kansas its proper pronunciation actually is "Ar-Kansas". Also, the river of that name is pronounced "Ar-Kansas" for the stretch that's actually in Kansas.
-
Yeah, I'm pissed I missed that beta leak.
-
Where does one get Skyrim for $30? For that cheap I might bite.
-
The offer only applies if you buy a whole year. But the time stacks so if you think you'll end up renewing it anyway and you have the money there's really no reason not to do it.
-
and therefore:
-
Alright, I'm gonna give it a shot. I'm still not convinced it will be worth it to me, but if not it's still not that much money. I'm willing to risk it.
