Because you're a bit of a pessimist? Wait, what? What are you talking about? What does pessimism have anything to do with how Protheans end up being ancestors to the humans? Besides, the all of the Protheans were either killed or taken by the Reapers and turned into Collectors, last I remembered, or end up in something akin to Ilos, which isn't really any better. Pretty much makes me think that a dead species can't really be a good ancestor for humans. I could be wrong, of course.

Just saw the summer 2011 listings for anime. It's all shit (as in, nothing interest me). Here's the link. Okay, The Idolmaster might be on the list. Might. But it only appeals to me because I know of it.

I dunno, I'm more used to it being a continually pressed button thanks to SC: Conviction and Vegas 2. When I imagine it being a toggle, I think of it as being space-bar-toggle a-la Gears of War PC. Probably wouldn't work as you can jump in Deus Ex (unless I'm horribly wrong and they eliminated jumping from HR).

I'm different. I like it when my game worlds have color. Otherwise I lose interest in it really fast. Prime example being Borderlands... ugh.

For the length and co-op-ness of the game, would you guys recommend Portal 2 at it's current price tag? Just went on a spending spree and now I'm sort of waiting for the storm of deals again, but might be willing to make an exception if the game is, well.. exceptional.

I fixed it by resetting my settings thing-a-ma-bob and now it works. Now I'm wondering where my map pack went after I redeemed it.
