http://uk.ign.com/articles/2013/06/12/e3-2013-cops-called-to-shut-down-ouya So in not quite E3 news, the ESA have been dicks to the Ouya folks. I bet for the most part if ESA hadn't tried to block them or get rid of them they'd have been mostly ignored. Streisand Effect n all that.

E3 games and confirmed platfroms: Ryse is..historically inaccurate. The fluffy things go the other way around, not like a mohican, and their shields are larger (cos they should just be turtling all the time, not once in a while). Watching stuff with an archeologist is interesting.

I'm hoping PS3 eye will work with with PS4. And dropping it from being bundled is likely what's helping them keep costs significantly lower than 360. Move sold well enough. Anyway here's a video of it in action. I've yet to fully watch because I'm dashing out.

Or play Xbox (1?). That's a pretty offline device now... edit: Yup, it says "Xbox 1 games". Also we're three years on, has any new features come to XBL in those years?

There is my link like two posts above where you did the FFX trailer you might have missed: http://forum.pressxordie.com/topic/388-final-fantasy-thread/page-14#entry107646 The artwork (and 3D models) were already done a lot higher HD than the PS1 was capable of outputting. It's like there's all those raw z-brush models of 7th gen models out there too, just waiting to be put in the 9th gen 4K re-releases. As far as the FFX HD trailer goes, I guess it's like 13 years past the spoiler window but damn did it really, out of all the game, need to mention the whole pilgrimage being a sham/killing summoners thing? FFXV I'm not sure I fully approve of the even more action-orientated angle they're going. Especially as I'd been hoping for a bit more ATB reaching roots. Lost Odyssey has shown it can be kept relevant, and FFXIII-2 was pretty close-enough too. But XIII-LR and XV seem to be going way too action oriented. Part of reason I like FF series is because of the turn based mechanics. Planning your moves, nice plodding gameplay that's not trying to rush you. Also why they're so great to play on handhelds too years later.

It's a public poll, you can click "view" to see the votes. Which means you can see the 10 idiots that voted "Yes" to buying at launch.
-
I'd guess because it was never clear what that was. Their feed was really shit, it cut to random bits all over the place.

http://jonyiveredesignsthings.tumblr.com/ I've not fully looked into iOS7, but the bits I've seen are...different (and yet oh so familiar at the same time...)

Maybe the $399 wasn't expected, so they didn't have any price reductions announced. Likely something comes Gamescom.
-
The "free games thing" though is currently offering just 2 pretty old games, and will only be running until the launch of Xbox One. It's seemingly not a permanent PS+ alternative that they're aiming to create. (which probably explains why it was a rather quick announcement than something fully fleshed out.)
-
Ermm..PC? As much as the PS4 is hitting a neat price point and kicking Xbone butt, a new PC is still top priority for me. Also buying electronics at launch is nuts.
-
Yeah, from what I'm to understand the XBL free games thing is only running until the launch of the Xbox One, so that's like ...10 free games? And so far, so old and shitty.

Behold, a shit eating grin.

Yeah, I'm seeing a lot of people with confused tweets on the implications of what was said in that segment. Kinda hoping it's not true, though I do most of my MP on PC.

So I think Tretton just handed MS their ass on a plate. And he fucking knew, and loved doing it. What the fuck was MS thinking?
-
Yeah was said it'd be action-like back when it was first announced. Semi-Crisi Core like. And yeah, name change was a long time coming rumour. TES: Online will bomb, I don't understand the current thinking of "take RPG, make it an MMO". Especially a paid one.

Fabula Nova Crystalis; Tales of the New Crystals. Was meant to be a semi-related trilogy of sorts (similar "mythos/themes", not directly related though), FFXIII, FF Agito XIII and FF Versus XIII. Agito became FF Type-0, and FF Versus XIII became FFXV. Still same game, just different name really. Makes sense given the Agito change, and FFXIII becoming it's own little trilogy on it's own.

Final Fantasy XV

It's one of those "the world is all terrible these days" games that seem to be popular of late (Ubisoft having two of them). But it looks neat, looks kinda like Wath_Dogs, so I'm wondering if Ubisoft have their own in-house engine going with all this. Certainly looks pretty.

Faking own death won't work btw.

The Division looked neat.

Yeah, kids and ubi's show don't mix. That lass in Rayman would've had someones eye out.
